New Rooms

With the addition of boy #4 I finally gave in to moving the big boys into their own room on the other side of the house.  That was the reason that we bought the house was the garage was converted, so there was lots of room to grow.  We have used the other room as a family/tv room and then it has been a home office for Richard for the last 6 or so years.  We moved out the office furniture and all the other junk in there, and painted it fun boy colors.  This week we finally got all of their stuff out of their old room and it is official the baby boys room, although right now it is just Jake.  We still need to get stuff up on the walls, but it is definitely getting there!

Shots x 3

Today Tucker got his first set of immunizations. 2 weeks ago Jake got 2 boosters and in 2 weeks Andrew gets his boosters for Kindergarten. I told the Nurse at the doctors office how over a month I have 3 different kids getting shots. She said she's had some people bring all their kids in and do it all at once. That sounds super crazy to me!  Here is a shot of Tucker afterwards. He cried, but as soon as I picked him up he was fine so I took his picture. The day I took Jake was so crazy, so no pictures- everyone was crying that day.

Feel like blogging again

So I feel like the blogging world is kinda dead, but I feel like I need to document what's going on in our family's  life. I've never turned my blog into a book, but really need to look into it! So I made a deal with my friend Diane that if she posted her thoughts on the World Cup Final I would blog. She writes the most awesome posts about the sports she follows and I like to read and keep up with the soccer world through her and she is super insightful too. So her World Cup Blog was mostly about how she wasn't really into the final since her life was really busy this summer, does that count? Do I still have to blog?
Here is what is going on in my world, just loving a our sweet new baby.  He is growing so fast. Today I realized he was wearing the same outfit that he wore coming home from the hospital, so here are so pictures to see just how much he has grown.

Andrew and his catapillars

So I loaded the pictures backwards, so butterflies do not turn into caterpillars!  A while ago we were walking in the park and Andrew collected a bunch of caterpillars. For the first few days he brought them everywhere with him. He finally let them be and Kenzie noticed yesterday there was a butterfly in the jar! So we went outside to let them go, there were actually 3. Two flew away today and  Andrew was really bummed! They convinced the babysitter last night to take them to the park and get more caterpillars!!  Image

More Monitoring

This is how I spend my Monday and Thursdsay Mornings in the OBs office thanks to gestational diabeties. Some days go fast and some don't. I wish I could say it is a nice quiet break, but it is stressful watching the monitor making sure that the baby's heartbeat is doing what it's supposed to be. 3 weeks to go!Image
