Easter 2013

Image

I had to share these pictures because this face below makes me laugh.
My candy boy thought his brother was collecting more eggs then him and started a bit of a meltdown.

Image

His kind brother (seen in the background) heard him and came running back to dump his entire collection of eggs into his brother’s basket. Which promptly dried his tears and brought a grin to his face. If that is not brotherly love, then I don’t know what is.

Meanwhile, Mya had a grand time, oblivious to the drama, gathering lots of chocolate for private feasting later.

Candy; the American holiday requirement. It brings such incredible joy to my children.

Boys in a Blizzard

Image
My guys wanted to brave the snow storm today and begged to go sledding. So I let them... for about 10 minutes. That was all I could handle. Wind and snow being blown in my face is not my cup of tea. But it didn't wipe the smiles off these brave outdoorsmen. Love my boys!

4th of July 2012 at Sugar House Park

This year for 4th of July we decided to go to Sugar House Park for fireworks. There were so many more people there then I expected. I think it was the largest fireworks display in Salt Lake; so as you can imagine we had a show before the show. With all the crazies. I'm so tempted to post a picture of our blanket neighbor who promptly removed his shirt to show off his nipple piercings. My kids were enthralled. Thank you forty year old hippie stoner. Regardless Lets face it, because of the pre-show we all had a great time. Why do we love to people watch? The only downside is that we spent 2 hours stuck in a parking lot afterward in a 100 degree parked car with extremely tired and cranky kids. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat, but we will park two miles away and walk. Happy Independence Day!

(Speaking of that...Not to get too political, but let's try to keep our Constitution intact people. NObama.)

Ahh the joy of brothers. No really. Look at the joy on her face.

I love that Mya's covering her ears when the jets flew by and the reflection in my sunglasses shows Gavin doing the same thing.

Keldon's Visit!

Image

Image

Image
My brother, Keldon was in town this weekend playing with his college soccer team. We got to watch his school Embry Riddle beat Point Loma 3:2. Embry Riddle scored in the last 9 seconds. It was so fun to watch him. The Women's team traveled with them and were on the sidelines supporting the guys team. All the girls were so excited I was Keldon's sister and raved about what a good player he is. I'm so proud of what a great guy he has grown up to be. It's really strange to see my little baby brother grow up so big and strong. I guess he's kind of a man now. Weird.
Love that boy!

Visit from Kelly

My sweet baby girl...

Image
My dear friend Kelly came for a fun visit over Labor day weekend. We had such a good time. One night we spent looking at old notes and pictures, laughing until we cried.
She is such a fun girl. Luv her to pieces!

Cousin Time

We were lucky to have an almost surprise visit from my sister Kim and her adorable family!
The cousins had a blast playing and being crazy together.

Mya's Baby Portraits

Image

So my darling cousin Jen is an incredible photographer and took these sweet little jewels for me to treasure. I never took sweet pictures like these with my boys and I regret it. I did not want to miss the opportunity with Mya. She is 10 days old here and was the perfect model. Jen was so gentle and patient with us. I think she was born to handle newborns. Check out her other ridiculously gorgeous photos here.
