Ryan Teoh

I am a masters student at UCSD pursuing an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, where I work with Sylvia Herbert. I am also co-advised by Jason Choi at UCLA. I plan to pursue a Ph.D. beginning in Fall 2027, with research interests at the intersection of control theory and machine learning for safe and robust robotics. My long-term goal is to develop learning-based decision making algorithms with an emphasis on safety and performance guarantees that can be deployed on real-world systems.
