Andrew, it's been over a year since I last blogged about you and all the changes in your little life. I'll try to recap as much as I possibly can so you have some point of reference someday when you care to read about who you were as a little boy. Year two was a real ride for us, your personality really shinned for good and for stubborn! You were and still are a cozy cuddler, especially after nap time. Your tantrums were sometimes epic and I'm glad we have moved on from the "terrible twos." You would lay on the floor with your facedown, scream and cry and there was NO comforting you until the tantrum had run it's course (so to speak). Aside from the tantrums you became a little less shy and a lot more independent! Friendships began to form, especially with Nettie Joyce and your cousin Archer. You learned to share very well and began helping us decide what you wanted to wear. I apologize for the brief recap on your second year of life, I think going back to work full time really played a part in "Blogging." If you decide to have a family one day try to be in a financially secure place where you can make the decision to have one of you stay home if that is your hearts desire. You guys are my top priority but sometimes things don't get done the way I wished they could because I am working. Just know, my heart is and always will be with you first. So let me recap with things that you really liked at the age of two!
1. Daddy, you have always loved your Daddy!
2. Monkey...he goes where you go.
3. Tools, cars and trucks, you really showed an interest in these toys this year.
4. Swimming! You took swim lessons with Nettie this summer and loved it! You also did a lot of jumping in to the pool where Daddy would let you go underwater for a second and then lift you up! You were SO brave!
5. I tried to encourage you to move on from your pacifier and diapers, you were NOT interested.
6. You began to appreciate and love Norman Bobby the cat, you love Harper Sue too but he's not around as much.
7. You decided around your 2nd birthday that you wanted out of your crib into a toddler bed. We made that transition and you never looked back!
8. Roadtrips, we did two big ones in the summer and you did an awesome job traveling. Of course, the places we stayed had pools so that made it worth the long drives!
9. Your love for playing any instrument continues on! I'm pretty sure you and Daddy have your own band.
10. You've got a pretty good kick too when you and Daddy are playing soccer.
I think I could go on about what year two looked like for you, but I still need to catch up to year three! You did learn that being an only child was going to end soon, you didn't mind at the time!
Here are a few pictures from year two!

4th of July with the Joyces!
We don't get out much anymore but we were thrilled to take a road trip to Lake Holter for a couple of days. Our friends Kale, Gina and Nettie were our hosts and we had so much fun! Minus the zero sleep...my son doesn't sleep well in other places when his daddy and mommy are in the room with him. He thinks its party time, we think we want to cry when our son is up from 1:30am till 5:30am! No joke! But again, it was a great trip and the lack of sleep was a hiccup. We were loving the boat rides, beer, rice crispy treats, beer, great company and beautiful land! Thank you Joyces!

21 months!
Andrew is growing so fast that I can barely keep track of all the things he's doing. I will say this, he's talking up a storm, his appitite changes everyday, and he wants to "hep" (help) with everything! It is so fun watching him grow, learn and explore everyday. He is such a blessing from God and there is not a day that goes by that we don't remember this.
Here is what 21 months brought us:
You love the thrill of daddy popping you out of your tunnel. I love the look on your face!
A picture of my sweet niece with her lovey "Piggy", and her "pig" tails!! We also learned that she will be a big sister to a little brother, we are so thrilled!
Your first haircut! It didn't go so well, but you were happy 5 minutes later when it ended, and you got a lollipop.
Trying new toys at the park!
Building tall towers with your new blocks! He builds these all by himself, Mike and I are pretty impressed.
Drew has figured out how to get himself to high places! And he's quick about it too! Grrrr.
He's been enjoying pool time with his buddy Nettie!
Popsicles thrill him, even if the cushions are missing!
A fabulous picture of my dad and his new puppy "Rowdy!"
Our nephew Archer's 1st birthday! "Ebony and Ivory live together in perfect harmony, side by side on my piano..." Ha ha!
Snugging with "Ma."
Running through Nana and Papa's sprinklers with Uncle Jamie, Aunt Kendra, Papa, Nana and Daddy!
Looking so darn cute with your baby blues.
Just a happy boy! Really, he is hardly ever unhappy and if he is, its usually because he's hungry or tired.
Last, but certainly not least he will do whatever he can to steal a quick moment with "Normo." In fact, "Normo" is coming around too, he will rub up againt Drew these days which totally thrills him.
We can't wait to see what 22 months has in store for us! I guess we'll find out tomorrow...

20 months!
I've totally lost track of time! I want to share what Drew was up to and enjoyed doing at 20 months. However, I want to do the same for his 21 month post too so I'm going to show you what he's been up to in pictures, and a few words.
And lastly he enjoys a few quiet moments here and there reading his books. We love you sweet boy!

19 months...
Well, as I'm sitting down starting to compose your 19 month update you are waking from your nap. So, this might be short, who am I kidding it's never short! You are doing tons these days, you love being active and we don't mind it one bit becaues it keeps us active. You are trying out many words and it seems like everyday we realize a new word coming from you. Words like, "down, dak da (thank you), aaa (apple), poon (spoon), four (fork), on, off, pane (plane), maa (monkey), the list goes on!! As far as food goes, it's hit and miss. I'm starting to think lunch is your favorite meal and breakfast is not. You're a very happy boy and you're starting to enjoy meeting new people. You love watching older children, and sometimes when we're at the park you'll try and get in on the action. You do melt down here and there when you don't get your way, but we expect that and do our best to find a redirection..."most" of the time it works! Daddy and I are so thrilled to watch you grow each and everyday, we are so proud you are ours.
Pictures please!
You loves your kitties! You try to give them kisses but most of the time they run. Probably because when you're not trying to give them kisses you're throwing something at them or trying to sit on them.
You also love vegetables and using anything that looks like drum sticks to drum. Thanks Grandpa Dennis!
Just a cute shot of you and your great smile.
And, another cute shot of you not so happy.
Ugh, I wish someone would make yogurt in the squeezable pouches, like the applesauce!!
We've got a 20 lb turkey in the crockpot Daddy!!
Just one of your many adventures around here. You pulled the blankets and pillows in yourself!
Just thinking about your Daddy...
Mommy letting you have juice for the first time. As you can see it was a real hit! Oh, and you had decided that you were done sitting in your high chair. So you were moved to the booster seat...thank you Grandma and Grandpa Moro!!
"Drew, say cheese." "Deese."
"Hello Drew, where arrrrrre you?"
Just a quiet moment...of course with some of your favorites. Monkey, blanket and your pacifier.
"I want to go out in the street and I don't understand why you and Dad won't let me!"
