Leopard WebKit für Mac

The PSU of my main computer died and I had to reactivate my old iMac G5... This is the moment when you feel lucky knowing this app: it became a blessing! It’s way faster than its nearer competitor TenFourFox. It lacks useful extensions such as uBlock Origin and uMatrix, but the old version of Ghostery is behaving well enough. Some sites with embedded audio and video players won’t work, but you can play Youtube quite all right, if you’re not running any other hungry program. Thanks again, Tobias! :-)

Lol but WHY??? Would you like some bellbottoms and platforms with this also? Talk about being stuck in the past! LMAO!

There are still updates (current being 604.5.6 r226588) but you have to dig into the repository to get the last one: https://sourceforge.net/projects/leopard-webkit/files/604/Leopard/PowerPC/ I wonder why the Download button on the main page still points to version 603.3.3, is it because the others are considered beta/rc? Or is it just an oversight? Anyway, they work perfectly! I'd say version 604.5.6 is actually better than 604.4.5 (there was a 20% CPU footprint that remained for a long while, now it's gone).

It's very nice to have the latest webkit running on my old G5, but what an irony that no one is doing the same job for 10.6 or 10.9...

I wanna thank you too, for your Snow Leopard build! Do you nice folks have a updated and secure version of WebKit for Mavericks users?
