Liam Ravita grew up in a musical family, surrounded by a wide range of genres from an early age. He picked up instruments all through middle and high school, not with a plan, just because there was always something else to figure out.
In college he started playing in bands, and somewhere in there he fell hard for the blues. John Mayer, Eric Clapton — what drew him to those artists was the combination of real virtuosity on the instrument and the ability to back it up with a well-written song and lyrics that actually meant something.
His debut single "Balcony" landed in that same spirit — quiet, acoustic, written in an afternoon in Alabama and not overthought from there.
