Happy #WWDC 🥳 Some of the Lickability team is in Cupertino today, and the rest of us will be watching the livestream. What goes great with watching WWDC? WWDC bingo, so we made a simple bingo card you can fill out and screenshot during the event! 😝 Have fun! https://lnkd.in/grSunBSW

Here’s a few tools for Swift devs that solve a niche problem: making Apple Developer docs play nicely with LLMs—now in multiple flavors! 1. https://sosumi.ai Sosumi (clever😉) “translates Apple Developer documentation, Human Interface Guidelines, WWDC sessions, and external Swift-DocC sites into AI-friendly Markdown.” 2. https://lnkd.in/d2iujhJp Cupertino is “a Swift-based tool to crawl, index, and serve Apple's developer documentation to AI agents via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).” 3. https://lnkd.in/gpmPKK4K And the aptly-named Apple Docs MCP also lets you “access Apple’s official developer docs, frameworks, APIs, SwiftUI, UIKit, and WWDC videos through Model Context Protocol.”

Hey! 👋 We’re back with another blog post: We canvassed our team of technical and non-technical professionals to see if/how they’re using AI, and where they are (or aren’t) finding it useful. https://lnkd.in/eDfEZyKi Is everyone “vibe coding” during their off hours? Are our engineers 10x-ing productivity on every project?? Give it a read and find out! 😝

Congrats to our friends who were recently recognized as pillars of the Apple development community, and an extra-special shout-out to Lickability alum 🦄 Mikaela Caron! ❤️ https://lnkd.in/gw866U32

We’re hard at work, so how about winding down the week with a discussion topic: What does the future of using apps look like? AI has changed how a lot of people are working with software while building (agents, prompting, etc.), and many companies are integrating this workflow into the core levels of their products (Copilot in Windows 11, Apple’s upcoming “Extensions” in iOS 27). But how many people want these workflows to be ubiquitous? Are some problems begging for agentic automation, while others are best solved through thoughtful UX? Or will we realize these workflows work best in certain niches and not as a universal solution? What are your thoughts?

What a nice start to the week—we’re honored to have Ashli’s blog post featured in Fatbobman’s Swift Weekly newsletter! https://lnkd.in/guBzCaaf
Up now on our blog: Our engineer Ashli Rankin on identifying solutions that adhere to her standards, and when just “solving the problem” isn’t always enough. https://lnkd.in/g6VjdqMS

We couldn’t imagine our team without Thomas ❤️ Here’s to many more years of shenanigans, adventures, and getting to do what we love for work!
7 years, a trip to Vegas, my first WWDC at Apple Park, some AI shenanigans, a few Tech Walks, many RevenueCat events, a company retreat, a pasta-making Christmas party, and 1 new beard later... Joining Lickability remains the best decision I've ever made. Still love being here.
