Native Milkweed Seed Request
THIS ORDER FORM IS NOW CLOSED UNTIL OCTOBER 2026. Available until January 31, 2026: We have a limited supply of three or four species available to mail at this time. Please select UP TO THREE of the available species of milkweed. Seed packets will have 20-25 seeds of the species. These seeds have been collected from locations within Utah and should experience success when sowed according to instructions. Milkweed generally prefers sunny locations, but will tolerate partial shade. Plant 1/4" deep in soil. All will grow in pots as well, but then require regular watering. NOTE: Many Utah natives require cold/moist stratification or another method to trigger germination. Plan accordingly and follow directions per our website https://www.friendsofmonarchs.org/home/seed-prep or the seeds may not grow until they go through a winter outside. NOTE: see the link above for an easy, fast way to stratify seeds with fingernail clippers!
