Bio
Baria Daye is a Senior Social Development Specialist at the World Bank, based in Washington, D.C.
As an international development expert, she focuses on accountability and grievance redress, addressing the concerns of stakeholder communities affected by development projects.
Baria is also an AI Auditor and a healthtech coach piloting the use of AI agents for wellness and the treatment of obesity. She is part of the world's first cohort of ForHumanity Certified Auditors (FHCA) for AI, algorithmic and autonomous systems and their compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
Baria served as a member of the Advisory Council of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. She was invited as a speaker on a WEF panel "AI Transforming Business Models" at the World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth and Energy for Development 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Baria is also the Chair of the LIFE Lebanon Chapter in Washington, D.C.
