Each April, Project SAFE hosts Take Back the Week in observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This week of intentional, healing-centered events is designed to honor survivors, raise awareness about sexual and gender-based violence, and deepen our campus community’s commitment to consent, accountability, and collective care.
This year’s Take Back the Week invites us to reflect on what it means to build a safer, more compassionate community rooted in empathy, bodily autonomy, and mutual respect. Through workshops on restorative justice, opportunities for embodied healing, spaces for creative expression, and community-centered gatherings, we will explore how to support survivors and challenge harm in meaningful, everyday ways.
Join us for a week of learning, connection, and solidarity:
