Kilam is recuperating well; enough do get a little stubborn today!! 

Saw the oral surgeon and he thinks the infection is receding enough that I can avoid surgery to drain it.  It will have to keep scrubbing it 4-5 times a day and rinsing with the anitibiotic rinse.   Oh well, beats have surgery.

Tears from Gabe this morning over going to school.  He feels like he is not accepted, is teased and called names. :(  So hard to see them knocked down in life.  Trying to help him see what he can do for himself and a few good comebacks for the name calling.

Today has gone much better for Kilam and his recovery.  Last night he was having a lot of nausea from the anesthetic and couldn't keep things down.  It didn't help that the pharmacy kept goofing up on his nausea medication.  After 3 visits to the pharmacist, we finally got home with the medicine about 7:00!  He slept well last night.  I felt like I had a newborn again, waking up every 3 hours for pain meds.  He's also doing well with hydration.

Gabe had a basketball game today which his team won.  He contributed 6 points and was happy about that.  Wish I could have seen him make those baskets but I was the nurse and Darwin was the 'runner' today.

Got Kilam home and settled on the couch after his surgery.  Things went well.  Had his tonsils and adnoids out and a hole in his eardrum patched.  Took awhile for us to get home since Ki did not want to wake up!  Stopped at Sonic for a cherry slush.  He slept all the way home and then the nausea hit as I tried to get him out of the car.  He's snuggling w/dad; dad fell asleep in about 2 mins. and Ki's watching TV.

Since Kilam has his surgery tomorrow and needs to sleep in (don't want him wanting to eat), he got to go w/daddy to watch the church basketball games til 10:30!

Spent the morning doing VTing and another sister visit.  

Trying out a new background. This ones hard to see on but I got to go to the school run!!

Had EJ today :)  He was telling me what he wanted to be when he grows up.  He wants to be a police officer, a scuba diver, Santa Claus AND a snowman, all at the same time!

Wow! The day just kind of flew by and I can't wait to get to bed. A couple of loads of wash, clean the kitchen, homemade banana bread (yum!), breakfast casserole for pres. meeting, pres. meeting, RS phone calls, VTing phone calls, kids homework,  homemade soup for dinner, scout,  kids to bed while Darwin has a meeting, a church talk to study and finally I can go to bed!  Goodnight family ......zzzzzzzz
