I started out as a fan of Charlie Chaplin, but I grew to be a great fan of classic movies. Here you can find all my posts on classics and also my contributions to blogathons. Little Bits of Classics 
Hi! I saw your message re: blogging platform. Personally, I prefer WordPress, although it may not be as secure as Blogger. Blogger is very easy to set up if you have a gmail account, but some of the post editing features in Blogger DRIVE ME CRAZY. But…then again, maybe it’s just what you’re used to.
However, one neat feature about WordPress is they send you an “Annual Report” at the end of December to analyze your blog over the previous year. It’s a nice service, and very encouraging besides. Plus, they always note certain milestones on your blog, e.g. “Congrats, you’ve uploaded your first post!” and “Congrats, you’ve reached 100 followers” and “Your stats are booming”, etc.

Thanks so very much for your support! I’ve just started exploring the features of WordPress and I think I like it more… I posted some things, so I have a couple of posts at least to experiment with, and now I’m trying to search for a suiting theme! I’m glad you don’t mind if I ask for your help later on, too :)!

I have a Facebook page but not a blog. I would love to talk about my experiences talking about Charlie Chaplin at our non-profit silent film museum in historic Niles, including newly discovered locations
