CHRISTMAS 2006

We spent Christmas in Hubbard, Oregon at my Uncle Ron and Aunt Kara's house. They just got done remodeling their house and we were their FIRST guests!! The house is absolutely beautiful. It is an old farmhouse that Ron's parents used to live it and they gutted and redid the whole house. It looks so nice. I was glad to spend my first Christmas there. Grandpa and Grandma Histand of course were there too along with my cousins Dahpne and Ellis. Here are a collage of pictures from our time there. We had a lot of fun !

books this Christmas. Mommy is going to be
busy reading to me. Daphne and Ellis loved
to play with me, hold me and kiss me all over.

Family picture time!! We all tried to sit still
and smile as best as we could. We had quite
the time!! So many pictures.



















This is me in the airport. We flew to Portland
Friday night and come home Monday, Christmas
day. I slept the whole way there and the
whole way home. Daddy and mommy were
very happy that I travel so well.















My family is front of the fireplace. We had
a nice ham dinner on Sunday and did our gifts
that evening. Then of course we spent all night
playing with all the fun things we got. Santa was
good to us all!! We missed David and Ericka
being there with us this Christmas, but are
thinking of them as they are in Ecuador. They
called on Sunday so we did get to talk to them
and wish them a Merry Christmas. I also miss
all my family in Pennsylvania, but will get to see
them soon.

be with daddy's family. It
will be my first big trip and

stay with Aunt Kara and Uncle
Ron. They just moved into
their house on sat. Can't wait
to see it. I also can't wait to
meet my cousins Daphne and
Ellis. We will have fun playing!!

fun noises. Mommy is very happy too because
I am sleeping through the whole night!! Eight
hours.... she is so proud of me. Daddy said I had
to be sleeping thruogh the night before mommy
went back to work. Guess she did good!!















Can't wait to see what Santa brings me for
my FIRST Christmas!!

HI~I thought I should add a few new
pictures. Mommy and daddy got a
new digital camera for Christmas and
are using it early. So of course they
are practicing taking lots of pictures ,
of me.....

towel. My friend Ava got it for me and
it even has me name on it. Pretty neat!!
I don't really mind baths, I just hate being
cold afterwards. Then sometimes I get mad.















It has been pretty chilly here. All the foothills
are covered in snow. I hear they get a lot of
snow this time of year, but we don't get much
down here. Hopefully I will get to see snow
sometime and play in it. This is me all
bundled up, ready for a walk. We go on one
everyday. Mommy says exercise is important.

Mommy gave me my first bath in the big tub!
I did pretty good, but I am not quite big enough.
I kept sliding down in it. It was pretty fun,
and I didn't even cry. Can't wait till I can
splash all around!!

Today was a sad day. Grandpa
and Grandma Hess left. I had
a fun week with them and they
will be missed greatly. NO more
being held ALL the time. This is

with them. We made lots of
memories this past week!!!!!
Mommy is starting to decorate
for Chirstmas. I can't wait for the
Holidays, she tells me how fun they
are.

snow the other day. The foothills are
covered with snow. It is actually

Hi everyone!! Hope you all are doing

are enjoying my blog. I am 6 weeks
old already. Mommy can't believe
it. Growing up so fast!

It's another fun week at
my house!! Grandpa and
Grandma Hess came to
visit me. They came all
the way from PA to visit me
on Monday and are staying
with me till Thursday. This
is just them smiling and
talking to me. We are getting to
know each other real well.
They spend Thanksgiving
day with us which was very
fun. We all went to my Great
Aunt June's house for lunch
and they all ate lots of turkey
(can't wait till I can eat some).

make me smile and laugh. He
is a wonderful grandpa and so
much fun!!! He watched me all
morning today while mommy and
grandma went shopping at 5 am.
They are crazy getting up that early!!

gave me. She is so nice and always
buys me the cutest clothes!! Hope
everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving
and had lots to be thankful for. I
am thankful for my parents and
grandparents!!

too. However, at night this is
creating problems because then I

like my crib. All I want to do is sleep
with her and Daddy isn't going for
it. I grunt and grunt and grunt and
keep him awake....what's a baby

Highlights of the the week spent
with Aunt Tara......
1. I got lots of clothes from my
cousin Ashton that Mommy and
Auntie T. had fun filling my closet
with.
2. Shopping--shopping--shopping
oh and more shopping.....
3. Walking on the Greenbelt--even
though it was a little chilly on my nose.
4. Buying stuff to make my house look
nice.
5. Getting blinds to open and shut so that
noboby can look in and see us.
6. Quality time with Auntie T., especially her
reading books to me and snuggling with her in
the morings.
7. Watching and listening to my Mommy and
Autnie T. laugh and giggle ALL week. They love
each other.

the day though and not at night).










Above is aunt Tara and me. She came
the whole way from Pennsylvania to see
me. We did a lot of playing. She read
to me books and told me stories. She says
reading will make me smart (her being
a teacher and all).

I spent a wonderful week
with my precious little
nephew. He is so beautiful
and perfect. It's still hard
to believe that my little
sister is a Mommy--and
a wonderful one she is.
Baby Owen is a blessing
to our family even from a
distance and we look forward
to making lots of great
memories with all the
kiddos!!!! We love you
"Baby Owen"!

Here are just a few more pictures of me. Mommy took me to the doctors on Monday. I weighed 7lbs 10oz. Mommy could hardly believe how much I have grown. I really like to eat though so.... guess that is why I am growing so fast. I am still working on sleeping at night. Mommy really wishes I could get it down... I am still so little though. It takes time. I keep trying to tell her that!!

This is just me sleeping. Mommy says I do a lot of that. I am sleeping pretty good at night though. Waking up about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Mommy is pretty happy with that. And daddy just sleeps right through it all. Lucky for him!! I had a big week though. I got my first pictures taken. I looked really cute!!! Had my first lunch out and am going to my first birthday party tonight for daddy's uncle who is turning 60! My grandpa, grandma and aunty Kara are leaving tomorrow and then it will just be me, mommy and daddy!!

This is me with my aunt Kara who came from Portland to visit me. I love snuggling with her. We did a lot of bonding. She left my cousins Daphne and Ellis at home with uncle Ron. Hopefully I will get to meet them some day soon.

Grandma made meals all week for us
so mommy didn't have to cook. She
was very happy for that. Will be sad
to see them leave. Will see them again
at Christmas.

I was born. They just got done
unpacking and putting everything
away and then I came. Grandpa
