My three little ladies!

Being the Mom of three girls has been so much fun! They keep me smiling and laughing all of the time. Hailey and Camdyn have adjusted well to having a baby sister. They kiss Brinley as much as possible and are quick to help. (Especially when she spits up on me and I am yelling for a burp rag!) We have done a lot of fun things as a family too. Having three has not slowed us down at all. Brinley is such a good baby...she sleeps well, eats well and is happy most of the time. The only thing is the spitting up....it is out of control! (There has to be something right??) Chris is loving every minute of Daddy time with Brinley. He loves cuddle time!
Hailey started first grade and is loving school and her teacher. I am told she is one of the top readers in her class! She just finished soccer for the season and "can't wait for it to start again!" She has asked to start ballet. I am considering it, but not sure if she can handle the structured part of it.
Camdyn is becoming quite the little talker. She talks to anyone and everyone who makes eye contact with her. She loves nursery and singing time. She is obsessed with clothes and shoes. (My girliest girl so far!) She can't wait to start preschool.
I wish we were a little less busy, but life is good! Chris and I are grateful everyday for the three little girlies that make life so much fun!ImageImageImage

Soccer time!

My little soccer girl has been doing really well this season! She runs her little bum off and is even scoring goals. She and her friend Lauren kind of skip around the field a lot, but this is to be expected. (They are girly girls!) Camdyn also gets very excited to go to the games. She loves to sit on the side lines and eat whatever snacks have been brought for her. I am sure that she will be a little soccer star too. She's always asking me where her soccer shoes are. I'm thinking that Chris has at least another 6 years of soccer coaching to go. Which he loves. :) Especially since the little one in my belly is a very good kicker. (Let's just hope my ribs stay intact until she is born!)

New couch

So here it is....the new couch. It should be here in a couple of weeks and then we can have an actual family room! I'll keep the new one in my living room and move the old one downstairs. I'm so excited to move all of the toys and t.v. downstairs. Chris and I have wanted a "family room" ever since we had Hailey and she'd trash the living room in 5 minutes flat. Will I actually get to have a beautiful, pristine room? I have a feeling that my most used phrase will now be "Go downstairs and play!"

Third pregnancy syndrome.

Okay, so looking back at my previous pregnancies I have realized that it definitely gets harder in some ways and easier in some ways. For example my morning sickness seems to get better with each baby as does my heartburn. However, since my body has been subjected to housing 3 different tenants it is completely unwilling to try to hold itself together. My hips are popping, cracking and spreading at an alarming rate. My lower abdominal muscles are already aching in protest of supporting the baby and I seem to be gaining a bit too much weight by my own standards.
I had a doctors appointment today and voiced my concerns. All he could do was nod and say "Well, this is your third baby." Then he suggested I get a belly supporter with straps that go around my shoulders. Hmmm...that sounds like buckets of fun. I had one that went around just my belly with Camdyn, but it felt more like I was strangling her than anything else. I'm am already anxiously awaiting my new tenant being evicted and again having my body to myself. Not that I have anything prepared at all. So many things to do!
I'm sure that when this little girl makes her appearance it will all have been worthwhile, but for now all I can do is complain about the aches and pains. Chris is very happy about that! But it was strange, however, that when I said something about this probably being my last baby that he said "Why?"

One little ballerina on a rocking horse.

Ever since Camdyn got her rocking horse she has been obsessed. She rides "Buttercup" in the morning, before bed and sometimes naked! She even combs it's hair. It is the cutest thing. Here are some pictures of the cute little cowgirl ballerina riding her Buttercup.

The joys of owning a home!

I had planned a trip to Spokane today to do some major baby shopping. When I went downstairs to get some pants from the dryer I stepped into some water. At first I thought it was just a leak from the sink in the laundry room. I quickly realized that the sewer drain/pipe had backed up and completely flooded the laundry room, bathroom, office and family room. It had saturated the carpet, walls, boxes of baby clothes, baby furniture, christmas tree and everything stored downstairs. I immediately went in to pregnant emotional mode. Chris called family and friends who showed up almost instantly to clean up water and rip up carpet. We will have to file an insurance claim and hopefully all will be covered. The restoration guy is here now tearing out some drywall, the bathroom, and sanitizing everything. It will definitely be an expensive process and I hope insurance does not let us down. I figure that Chris and I were due for a disaster! All is well!!

Girls, girls, girls.....

Well, we had our ultrasound today and as Chris and I both suspected...girl #3 is on the way! At first, I wasn't sure at all what it might be. Recently, I have been having baby girl dreams. When the tech started the ultrasound she went right to the gender....and before she even said anything I could tell. The first thing I told Chris was "better learn to do hair!" We are very excited and feel that a trio of little ladies is gonna be both dramatic and fun! I'm sure that I will at some point be very sick of dresses and dolls, but I can't wait to put little bows and bracelets on this little pumpkin. The tech was really good at telling me that everything looked good and that she was perfect and healthy. That was my first concern. She seems to have a little up-turned nose like Hailey, but I think she'll be a brunette. It does feel good now to know she's right on track and be able to start thinking about names. How do you find a cute name when you've used the only 2 on your list already? :) Now my only concern is will she be as big or bigger than Camdyn? Please tell me I don't have to have a 9lb baby again!
