Christmas Gifts

I heard a great piece of advice the other day.

If your children are asking you for a crazy amount of Christmas gifts you can mention this very important fact.

Jesus recieved 3 gifts on Christmas. (the ones from the wise men!)

So my darling child, you will be recieveing 3 gifts and no more!

Halloween Fun 2007

We had lots of fun this Halloween season.
Isaac was a Red Power Ranger. We were not sure if he could wear his mask to the trunk or treat at church so I painted a mask on his face. I thought it looked "so cool"!
Tate just removed his mask for the trunk or treat.

Tate was Batman's faithful sidekick Robin! I wanted the boys to be Batman and Robin but Isaac had other plans. Maybe next year?
Image

They both had a blast trick or treating, I can never believe how much candy they end up with.

For the first time this year we had a Halloween Dinner. We had it the Monday evening before Halloween. Our wonderful Grandma Lyniss sent us some Halloween paper plates and straws. Those items inspired Isaac to plan the whole dinner. Image

We ended up having lots of scary items,

Worms with mudballs and vampire blood:
Green spagetti, meatballs, and spagetti sauce.

We also had swamp juice- limeaid with extra green food coloring.

The boys thought it was so fun! Tate had a hard time eating it.....
I think the green spagetti noodles looked too wierd. Image

Later that night we carved pumpkins and ate sugar cookies!

I am pretty positive the boys enjoyed their Halloween this year.

Super Helpers!

During confrence weekend we had our friends come over and play. The daddies worked on Keros's shed, all the little boys dressed up in Super Hero costumes and raked the yard. They had a blast! It kept them busy for a long time. They were all very proud of the pile of leaves they ended up with.

Quote of the week....

After breakfast this morning I asked the boys to clean up their dishes and bring them to the sink. Tate huffed in disappointment and said, "I don't want to clean up, I don't want to be the mom!"
What? I said. Tate then said, "well, just the mom's clean on TV!"

My thoughts------That's it! NO more TV at my house! Ha ha!

Jack Attack

Image
Image
My youngest brother Jack came to visit in August and we had so much fun.
We mostly hung out and for our big "eat out"event we went to BURGERVILLE!
They boys also took him to chuck-e- cheese just to play games.

Jack is now in the MTC training for the San Fernando California Mission, Spanish Speaking.

We have got a couple of e-mails from him and he is doing great. Image

Below is a You Tube video that Jack helped make with his BYU- Idaho Family Home Evening brothers and sisters. He is the one with a stocking cap, and plaid coat. The video is pretty fun to watch. Enjoy!

WIld Animal Weekend

We planned out a Wild Animal Weekend! We went lot of places on the coast. First the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Then the Sea Lion Caves. Finally a Wild Animal Safari Park. The boys loved it.
We loved spending time as a family. We also saw "UnderDog" the movie. The boys laughed out loud during most of the Movie. It was a good family film! We actually didn't ever get to the beach. It was cold on the day we wanted to go. We will have to save the beach for another trip.Image

Birthday Summer

Our summer is always full of birthdays for our family. Keros always asks for a Marion Berry Pie for his "cake". We had many of his extended family members over to celebrate.

Image Isaac had a Batman Party this year. He had tons of fun. "Mom this is the best birthday party ever" he said. "My birthday's just get better and better". I am excited he said this. And yea- birthday parties are fun when you are a kid.....when you are an adult, that is another story...ha ha. ImageHere are all the friends in their Bat Suits!

This is my me and my Dairy Queen Ice cream cake. Pretty yummy. I am kind of depressed that I am getting older but oh well. One year older and wiser too. I really need the wiser part so I guess ......bring on the birthdays!

Visiting the Fam!

Image In July we visited Colorado and got to see Grandma and Grandpa France. We also got to play with cousins. It was fun. We went to the Greely Rodeo and to Tiny town and had some water fights. My boys love it at Grandpa and Grandma France's house. They really never want to leave!

Shed Breaking!

We were tired of our old stinky, mold and spider filled shed. So Keros decided to break it all down. He had lots of fun. Isaac helped a bit and they were both quite proud of the mess they made! Keros has plans to build a new one....sometime in the near future.

The Latest Updates!

We have finally done some painting and projects in our house. Last year about 80 % of the house was pink, ceilings, walls, closets, ahhhhh!
So this year we have covered the pink a bit and added some of Amber's creativity to the walls. ImageImageImageImage

I am also proud of my Hydrangeas. This year they have huge blue blooms! I love it!

Cookies with Dad

Image

Image

Image
Keros and the boys made cookies a couple of Sunday's ago. We made them before church so we had cookies and maybe something else for lunch- I forgot! They all looked so professional in their white shirts and aprons!

Just some fun pics!

Image Isaac lost his first tooth! He was pretty excited to put it under his pillow to get money. Then later that night he sobbed about not wanting the tooth fairy to keep the tooth. He wanted her to leave the tooth and the money behind. We wrote her an note- and she did!

Image Can you figure this one out? Ha ha!
