Spring Hollow

A couple months ago, we had family pictures. They didn’t turn out the way we would have liked so we asked a friend to take our pictures again. Just the other day we headed up to Spring Hollow, which is up Logan Canyon, to take our pictures. Our friend is not a professional but these pictures could fool ya. Spring Hollow is a stream with a little water fall and makes a great back ground no matter what season we are in. It was fun and the kids had a good old time seeing the water fall and making foot prints in the snow.
Like all kids, we didn't get one picture where all five of us were looking at the camera. So to fix the problem we had to doctor up some pictures and the last two on the slide show are the ones we fixed. Enjoy!

Yummy!!

Image

So I thought I would venture outside with my three kids today for some errands and shopping. I stopped off first at the alteration shop to get my pants hemmed, (I know I should know how to do that but I don't) anyway the lady was a super nice oriental lady who just wanted to give my kids hugs. As we left she gave Tait a dum-dum. I thought I will let him hold it to be nice and then when we get to the car I'll take it away. Well I forgot until Makenzie said "Tait is eating the sucker without the paper" Sure enough he was sucking away at that thing. I was now at my second destination and I knew that he was in need of lunch but I needed him to be happy for 15 more minutes so I said Why not? So for the next 20 minutes, (who sticks to the schedule :)He munched on the sucker while I shopped with the most perfect little angels, I know amazing huh!! At the end this is a picture of the sucker and Taits sticky little face. I guess I just started an addiction to sugar that could rival Colton's. But I have to say that really was the easiest shopping trip with those three ever. Image

Three Tired Boys

It's funny to see how the boys in the family are alike. Trent has a habit of falling asleep anywhere. He must have passed that quality along.

Tait, our smiley boy

As a mom of three I realize that time sure does pass really quickly. Children grow up way to fast and so with my third little guy I've really made sure that I just take more time to sit and enjoy him. He has been such a happy kid (unless he is starving or really tired). He will smile at anyone and is so curious to see what is going on around him. I love how Colton and Makenzie have been drawn to him just as Trent and I are. Here are some pics to show just how happy he really is.

Dad's Work,
Some times the kids get to come to Dad's work and hang out. This time it looks like Makenzie got too tired to play on the computer so she decided to take a nap...looks comfy.

Makenzie's School

Image

Makenzie is in kindergarten now and loves school. After about a week she came home and asked me what she needed to play school. She has played school every day since. She even roped Tait into being a pupil. He didn't really have a choice though ;) Here is the photo!

New Music

If you are like me I love listening to music especially while I'm surfing the web, so I borrowed Jenny's idea to give you something to listen to. Thanks Jenny for the music:) I hope my kids like music as much as I did as a kid. And thanks mom and dad for trusting us with the record player... awwh the memories!
