What's Been Going On.

ImageWe spent a week in Thayne, Wyoming. It was so relaxing.
I don't remember the last time I took a vacation that we
just did nothing. We did drive up to Jackson Hole for the day.
We saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers while there. It was
the first time the kids took a road trip they could remeber
and they don't want to do it again.
ImageMeg and Lucas had a piano recital. Meg played a
song from Selena Gomez and Luke pulled out
and oldie bud goodie from the Beattles. They are
both doing really well with lessons.
Image
ImageThe last day of school has finally came. Both the kids
received the Brilliant Bobcat award and both
were on the honor roll. Yeah!!!!
Image
ImageMeg has started riding lessons. She is not
sure what to do with and animal so large.
ImageWe did a day trip to Golden Spike National Monument.
We saw a reinactment of the driving of the spike.
It was pretty good and a big histroy lesson for the kids.

Getting everyone caught up

Image For school Luke had to do a miniture golf course. Instead of

cheating and using Meg's Star Wars one from 3 years ago

we went with and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

Of course with an artist for a dad no one could compare to

the amazing adventure that awaiting our golfers who

dared to chance the coal car track and try to avoid falling

in the hot lava to their doom.

Image Lucas got a BB Gun from my dad. After a lot of safety

lessons and he finally got to go try it out.

ImageSadly Nick got rearended in our 16 year old Mazada.

Luckily he was not hurt, but unfortuantly the car did

not survive.

Image We spent a few days sitting on the beach in Hawaii.

It was so nice to just see the sun. Nick and the kids

were each sportting a nice red color by the time

we came home.

Image Luke got his Bear. They give them a very disgusting

mix of stuff to eat up. Luke said it wasn't very good

but the other boys I have seen eat it all up. Ewww!

Image We enjoyed making Christmas cookies for santa.

The kids look forward to this every year. Image Nick and the kids built a 10 foot snowman. They worked pretty hard at it. It took months for him to melt all the way. Image
ImageLast but not least our Skating with Santa. This is

something we do each year through work. This is a

big favorite with the kids. The weather was nice and

not too cold.

Phoenix for the Day.

Image

Image

Image
No matter what I do I can't get the pictures to turn the
right way. Sorry you will have to turn your head.
We got so tired of the cold weather we hopped a plane
to Phoenix where the sun always shines.
It was so nice. We went to Rawhide and got to do
a lot of fun things. We panned for gold, rode a stage coach, train
and burrows(even though Meg thinks she is too old for
this.) There were stunt shows to watch.
The highlight of the day was Nick and I doing the mechanical
bull. My 2 second ride was a rival to Nicks 5 seconds.
I think we may join the rodeo circut.

Ice Skating with Santa

Image

Image
One of our favorite things is Skating With Santa.
This year it was so nice. The weather was good and
we did spent a lot of time on the ice. This is
something we look forward to every year.

Christmas is Coming.

You know it is the Season when you decorate the tree
and do Gingerbread houses.

Disneyland

Image

Image We went to Disneyland. It was so crowded. It was the opening
day of the Holiday Season. We had a great time. Lucas got
to ride the Indiana Jones ride for his first time. We got to
do it 3 times. We then went to the beach. It was so nice.
Yea for warm weather. Later we went miniture golfing.
I am pretty sure since I got 2 holes in 1 and dad still won
he cheated!
