BOY!!!!

I am SO excited to be having a boy!  For the record, I thought it was a boy when we went to the doctor, I even tried to get a bet going with Blayne because he said, "I already know it's a girl", haha, WRONG Blayno!  I also tried to make my deal about names and Blayne wouldn't do it, so I told him I was going to fight him on the name he wanted to name a boy if he wouldn't take the deal.  I really do want to fight him, but the truth is, it feels like his name and I don't have any other names I like more, so it's probably what we'll name him.  It's still really weird to me to refer to the baby as "him" because I'm so used to girls, this is going to be so weird.  I had to go buy an outfit the day we found out to make it more real and it was SO weird shopping for boy clothes!!  Anyway, just thought I'd share in case there was anybody who didn't see on Facebook, if anyone even reads this thing, haha.

  

Random Thoughts

So, things have been kind of crazy.  We are waiting to hear about this stupid house that we made an offer on back in May- MAY!!!  It's been months and they are taking forever, plus the market here has changed since then so they want a ton more money for it, but every step is just taking forever.  Oh, and did I mention that I haven't even seen the inside?  Yep, that's right, Blayne saw it before we moved here and really liked it, and I trust him because he's pickier than I am, but we've been trying to get in to see it and the jerk sellers won't let us- are you kidding me, they are ridiculous!  It all just ticks me off, but it's pretty much our only shot at getting a house here any time soon.

The girls have been cracking us up lately.  Lydia is starting to talk a lot more and she's a little performer, if she's sees you laughing or reacting to what she's doing she'll just keep doing it forever, it's hilarious.  I let the girls watch The Avengers and they LOVED it!!!  They ask to watch it all the time, but we just rented it.  Lydia LOVED the Hulk, if I didn't already make her Halloween costume I would make her be the Hulk.  Ava's been funny too, when she wants to be.  She really likes to pout to get attention, it drives me NUTS!  But she's getting so pretty and so much older, it freaks me out.  Unfortunately she takes after the girls in my family, I don't think she'll ever think boys have cooties, she loves them.  There is a boy in her class that she has been in love with since day 1, she draws pictures of them getting married.  She says that she's going to marry him because he's a cutie pie :)  Seriously, when school started all the girls sat at a table for their snack and all the boys sat at a table and she came home crying because she wanted to sit by Noah, and the boys wouldn't let her sit at their table.  It's funny, but I think it worries Blayne a little for the future, haha.

I find out what I'm having on Friday- I'm SOOOO excited!!!  I was convinced it was a girl for a while, but now I think it's a boy, but who knows.  I'm trying to make a deal with Blayne that if it's a boy he can name him (because I already know what the name would be and I like it), but if it's a girl I'll make a list and he can choose from the list.  Which I think is a pretty good deal, we have VERY different taste in names and I pretty much HATE all of the girls names he likes.  I want something kind of funky and cute.  Ava all the sudden really wants to name it Sara if it's a girl, I have no idea why.  Not that Sara isn't a pretty name, but no way.

 

Baby #3 Is On The Way!!!

So, we're having another baby!!  It's crazy, I'm a little freaked out, way more than I was with my other ones.  I've been super sick and the miracle drug I took when I was pregnant with Lydia is NOT working the same. So, it's been pretty rough.  My poor neglected apartment and children, some days I just lay on the couch most of the day.  I try to at least get out and hang out with friends a little every day, but usually by the time I get home I am done and can't do anything else.  Poor Blayne has had to pick up a lot of slack, but I've been trying to help more lately.

Blayne and I get to be cool kids- we got iphones, and let me tell you- we LOVE them!!!!  They are so dang cool.  I know, maybe we aren't really cool kids, I think dorks is probably more accurate :)

So, Ava started school today- CRAZY!!!!  Also, can I just say that 7:45 is a little early for school to start and really moms??  Really??  I go to drop her off and I have my glasses on, yesterday's make up, and sweats- I look GROSS!  There are all these moms with ginormous hair and makeup and fancy clothes- it's 7:45!!!!  Maybe some of them work so they have to be ready, but it just made me feel gross, but come on, it's not like I'm going to shower that early, I'll just have to try to be kind of cute when I pick her up.  Anyway, that's all that's going on around here, sorry I suck so bad.  I know, I say that pretty much every time I update this darn blog, but whatever.

Lydia Turned 2!!!

 Since her birthday was on Sunday, we celebrated on Saturday and took her to Funderland.  It was really fun and the girls were so cute.

 We let them ride this by themselves and when they came around the corner Lydia looks like she really wants it to go faster while Ava is lounging and enjoying the ride.

 Teacups.  I rode most of the rides with them, which is why I'm in all the pictures, Blayne and his parents were there too.

 We also took the girls on pony rides.  When Ava tells about hers she has to tell about how it stopped to go potty.  Oh man did it ever, it was a big one, haha.

 Lydia loves bubbles so grandma and grandpa got her a bubble machine, they were so funny running and popping all of them.

We had a lot of fun that day, the girls were being really cute and funny.  It was a lot of fun having Blayne's parents there too, we love when they come and visit.  Everything's good with us, Blayne's been working a lot and I've been swimming with the girls a lot and reading.  Ava just got through with a session of swimming lessons- that girl is pretty scared of the water, but she came a long way and is getting better.  She is TERRIFIED to jump in a pool, even with floaties on and me there to catch her.  She says, "I'll do it when I turn 8."  It's pretty funny, I'm not sure where she got that.  Lydia's really starting to talk a lot more and as crazy as she is, she's also very sweet.  She loves to snuggle and I LOVE watching her and Ava play together, they're finally getting to an age where they can play really good for a while.  

Lake Tahoe

 So, Blayne's parents came down for a visit a couple weeks ago and we went to Tahoe for a day, I love it there!  Unfortunately, we were sick the whole time, like bad.  They were troopers and I hope ended up having fun.  

 Don't judge these pictures, I know I look sick, because I really, really was!!!  Me and Lydia had pink eye, so I couldn't wear my contacts, which is why I'm wearing glasses (ugh), and we were having to put in eye drops 4 times a day.  Ever tried putting in eye drops for a little monster that's not even 2 yet??  Yeah, not fun, plus she was also on antibiotics for an ear infection twice a day.  She was such a trooper though, and she actually loves medicine, whenever I gave her her antibiotics she'd ask for more, haha.

I didn't get a very good picture of them in their Easter dresses, we were running a little late for church that morning :(

We went to our friend Dez's house for Dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It was delicious and fun!!

Lydia gave up on the hunt and decided to mow the lawn instead- I'm pretty sure Ava hit the jackpot and took all the eggs out of Lydia's basket when she walked away.

They were playing a game on the computer, before you go judging me, it was a learning game. Lydia really likes the music on it, so Ava wanted her to sit on her lap while she played it.

Amy and Kallie and all their little kiddos came for a short visit- we MISS them SO much!!! Ava loved having her cousins come and of course I loved having my sisters here. I wish we got to see them more, hint hint. This is Kallie's oldest- Owen. So funny, he likes to growl words at you all the time and then he tries to make a serious face, but you can tell he's trying not to laugh- I was cracking up!!!

So I had taken a picture of Jackson and he came up and told me to trash it and get a picture of his "good side" and when I aimed the camera at him, this is what I got. He's such and awesome kid- and look how dang old he is!!!!

Ava and Dutch- they play so good together. I'm pretty sure almost every time they're together I barely see either of them all day because they're just off playing the whole time.

We went to San Fran while they were here and went to the aquarium, it was pretty cool and the kids really liked it. They got to see sharks, and I think Jackson got to touch one, Ava was sad because she wasn't tall enough and couldn't reach it.
