Echoes of a Dream is a fictional game imagined for Lone Rabbit's OST Composing Jam #7, exploring the subjectivity of reality and the ambiguity of the dream-state paradox. Inspired by Chuang Tzu's pondering, the game blurs the line between the real and the imagined, offering a dual gameplay experience that keeps you questioning the nature of existence. 

Alternating gameplay modes, step into the world of a young girl dreaming that she is a butterfly, and into the dreams of a butterfly imagining itself as a young girl. As the girl, navigate through her daily life in imperial China, solving puzzles and uncovering secrets. As the butterfly, explore a vibrant, ever-changing world, collecting fragments of memory and wisdom. Each mode presents unique challenges and mysteries, intertwining their stories in a seamless dance between dream and reality.

Your journey will leave you pondering: is it the girl dreaming of the butterfly, or the butterfly dreaming of the girl? Embrace the ambiguity and dive into Echoes of a Dream, where every moment is a step closer to understanding the elusive nature of consciousness.

Attention, Agent!

We’ve got an urgent mission for you. The city’s beloved ketchup factory is under threat from a group of terrorists planning to blow the whole place sky-high! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate the factory, disarm the bombs, and stop this ketchup catastrophe before it’s too late.

You’ll need to be quick, stealthy, and use all your skills. Equip yourself with your grappling gun and suction cups to navigate the factory's tight spaces—move between platforms, climb to the ceiling, and avoid detection. The terrorists are patrolling every floor, so stay out of sight. If you’re spotted, or if you fail to disarm all the bombs, it’s game over!

Each bomb you disarm brings you one step closer to saving the factory—and the city’s ketchup supply. Now go, MAKE THEIR EVIL PLANS FAIL!!!

This is your mission, Agent.
