Recreated the track, expanded on it a bit and added a few key vocal pieces from the game where they felt right.

The piano in itself is interesting from a technical viewpoint. It's composed of selected frequencies of three different pianos mixed together - including an overlapping selection of their harmonic overtones - along with three different reverb machines (again working on selected frequencies) used on the final piano mix.
It took about a week to compose the final piano instrument, but the resulting virtual set up unfortunately doesn't exist any more since my studio computer was stolen - so enjoy this first and only use of it.

During an obsession with old drum machines I decided to see what would happen if I did a one-take-per-instrument-recording of something befitting the dusty drum sound I was fiddling with.

"Lilian" off the album "Playing The Angel" recreated using Nintendo Entertainment System waveforms. The amount of simultaneous voices is kept to 5 so it should be close to what's playable by a real NES.

The second part of my two disc debut album, "Absolution" focuses on experimentation; twisting and turning the current and past state of electronic music of various genres and mixing it with the manipulations of previous analogue generations, creating something that is both new, unusual and still very familiar to the ear in the process.

Another Way To Hell

This is another oldie that's been stuck in mastering hell since my equipment was stolen. I finally gave in and sent it off to LANDR for automated mastering; this is the result.

Future War

I was listening to Devo today and I just couldn't get the thought of them doing a cover of "Temple of Love" out of my head, so I had to give it a try.

It was done extremely quickly and with a one-take-no-preparation vocal, so don't expect gold.

Now, Devo, will you do a real one? Please?

UPDATE: Mixed it a bit better, added the missing bass and processed the less-than-stellar vocals so they can stand being a bit louder, but hopefully without harassing your ear taste buds (yes, I'm sure you have those).

Oh, no! It's The Temple of Love

A remix/re-imagining of the original since all the official remixes aren't quite... good.
I went for a bit of a chiptunes/electro sound to give the track a slightly different mood, but stayed as close to the original as I could without making it a straight remake.
