M12 CAPITAL MORTGAGE INVESTMENT CORPORATION (M12 CAPITAL MIC) is a non-bank lender that provides personalized private mortgage loans on highly marketable residential and commercial properties whose financing needs cannot be met by the conventional lending restrictions of banking institutions. This offers investors who wish to enter the lucrative market of mortgage investments, but may lack the expertise, time, or investment capital required to invest an opportunity to be part of a diversified pool of mortgages, concentrated mainly in Ontario.

Investors pool their money by buying shares in a company called a Mortgage Investment Corporation (MIC) such as M12 Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation (M12 Capital MIC). MICs are special companies created by using Section 130.1 of the Income Tax Act.
