About

Welcome to my food blog!

My name is Melissa, and I am a home cook living in New England with my wonderful family. I love cooking and baking, and created this food blog as a way to keep track of recipes, and also to share them with family and friends.  I have had this blog since 2008, and if you take a look back, you can see that my cooking and photography skills have greatly improved! I hope you enjoy reading my blog and feel free to contact me at [email protected].

  2. would love to follow your blog. can you tell me where I can click to do that

    • Jami-
Wordpress does not offer a “follow” option like blogger. You can subscribe by e-mail to the right or add my feed in a reader, such as google reader. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  3. I just found your blog through Cookie Madness, and I love your header! Good luck with the pregnancy (I’m 6.5 months into my first:) and I can’t wait to read more!

    • Congratulations! I am impressed you have been able to keep up with blogging, I had no desire to cook or blog for the first 7 months of my pregnancy! ::Off to explore your blog some more!::

  4. Hi Melissa…I found your blog doing a search for “tropical rice, savory.” Hooray!! I am hosting my in laws 40th Wedding Anniverary party this weekend with a beach theme and I had this idea of tropical rice–kinda like a pilaf…and this is going to be perfect…I had an idea of how I wanted to do it but this is going to help me execute it to the next stage…not sure if I will do jasmine rice? I might do a mix. I will let you know how it turns out! xoC
