My name is Melissa, and I am a home cook living in New England with my wonderful family. I love cooking and baking, and created this food blog as a way to keep track of recipes, and also to share them with family and friends. WOW, what an amazing site!! I was googiling Wilton course 1, and happenned upon this site int he search engine (I am currently taking C1 at my local Michaels in Ontario, Canada).
You’ve put so much time and effort into detailing the course that not only am I anxious to continue on, but i’ve ome across so many amazing recipes while searching here!

Hi Melissa…I found your blog doing a search for “tropical rice, savory.” Hooray!! I am hosting my in laws 40th Wedding Anniverary party this weekend with a beach theme and I had this idea of tropical rice–kinda like a pilaf…and this is going to be perfect…I had an idea of how I wanted to do it but this is going to help me execute it to the next stage…not sure if I will do jasmine rice? I might do a mix. I will let you know how it turns out! xoC
