Hi folks.
So sorry not blogged for an age, lots going here, family stuff, you know, the norm.
My new craft cabin AKA The CC is up, just waiting for the final bits & pieces to finish, then it's all systems go, moving the room of stash from a bedroom, which should be JJ's room, downstairs into the CC, with the able help of some crafty friends (you know who you are:):) ) Then i am hoping i can find & organise my stash into some sort of order to then be able to craft again!

Angel wings

This is my entry for this weeks challenge over on Just for fun which is Angel wings.
This is a very last minute entry, with only 10 mins or so in my carft room, so a very basic Atc.

Had a play in the craft room & altered this box, not sure what will become of it, or where it's home will be, but hay, I had fun!

Made these canvas' the other day, both very similar, but not to sure which one I like the best. Answers on a postcard please!!!

Just for Fun

Here is my entry for this weeks just for fun challenge.
I have used Ci backing papers, T!m stamp & grunge wings & a DI, but forgotten what colour now!

Just for fun

This is my entry for this weeks challenge over on Just for fun. This week it is to add a time element with the continuing wings theme.
I started by cutting out a watch from my slice, then stamped a CI clock face. Also cut the wings from my slice, what a fabby machine it is!
Anyhow, covered my mini canvas with silver dabbers, attached the clock & wings, then used rubon's for the time word, then finally added black staz on, crackle, glaze & sepia accents.
Hope it's ok!

Tag & Atc swaps

Over on All things crafty Andrea is hosting 2 swaps, one being 3 colour atc's, green, red & blue & the other being 3 tags with a "ladies only" theme.
These are my very quick efforts tonight!
All 3 atc's have different embossing on them, then T!m's stamp, with the the same colour highlighted on some letters then glossy on top.
The tags are brayer backgrounds, swirl stamp then vintage ladies rub on's.
Hope they are ok!

Just for Fun

Well well folks! I have FINALLY done some crafting! YAY! I went to my local monthly craft group today with lots of things to get on with & one of them was to join in with a new challenge blog called Just For Fun where they have a monthly theme & a weekly theme. This month it is "wings" and this week it is "heartfelt wings". So here is my take on this theme. I have made a tag using distress inks & also using my new toy, the elite slice!
Anyhow, hope it is ok. And it's great to be back crafting again!

Is it really that long since I last made a blog entry?? Oh dear, slap in the wrist for me.

Happy new year to you BTW!

Nothing crafty to share with you I'm afraid, mojo has left home, but I hope he will return when he has a new "craft shed" to live in!!!

As I'm on my lappy, I have no pictures to upload :( but just to say all my little hooligans are doing fine! Sophie is loving school, Chloe loves pre school & Jack, well, he's just fine! Walking, jabbering on in his own little way!

Will try & update my blog more often!

Oh dear

Oh dear!

I have been a VERY bad blogger & crafter!

Life has just got in the way of my crafting just lately. Alot of rather upsetting family stuff, school holidays, mojo has left home & starting a new business, so all in all, crafting has taken a very big step backwards.

For those who are interested, my kids are all fine! Sophie has started big school & loves it! Chloe is at pre school every morning & again loving it & JJ, well, he's 10 months now & is a big boy! He's sooooo close to walking, so eyes in backside time.

Twinchie swap

Colour Atc swap

I am hosting a very simple atc swap over on All Things Crafty Forum. 3x atx's with the colour combo of red & gold, black & white & cream & brown. Here are mine!

Fabric

Ju over on All Things Crafty Forum has challenged us to use fabric this month! Well, anyone who knows me will know I don't so sewing OF ANY KIND! But thankfully my good old matey Connie came to my rescue with some fabric! I covered a notebook with fabric, added the picture mounted on chipboard & inked the edges!
Hope it will come in useful to it's new owner!

Vintage

Alison was last months winner on the All Things Crafty raffle & she has chosen this months theme as "vintage", so here are 2 little boxes I have altered. Hope the winner likes them!

Butterfly

Ju over on ATC forum, is hosting a variety swap & this months theme is 3D butterfly. Now, I don't "do" butterflies, but I knew somewhere in my old stash was some butterfly peel offs! So, out they came (oh, the memories of the first stages of crafty!!) & Bob's ya uncle, I knocked this up! It's a beer matt, DI inks & lots of butterflies! I have made it into a fridge magnet. Hope it is ok!

This is my piece for this months raffle over on All things crafty. I used a beer matt, barn door DI & the various stamps & embellishments.

Umm, so what's happening on my desk today then?

The screwdriver is STILL there, been using it again to take the hinges off my little boxes I'm still altering! (me thinks I is going through an alter stage???!!!)
After using lots of different papers to cover the little drawers, I had loads of scraps left over, so these have been used to alter the box on my desk, still a work in progress, hope to finish it off very soon.

And the rest, well, you know, the usual tools us crafters need!

2nd set of altered drawers!

While the kids had a nap this afternoon, I ran upstairs into my craft room & came up with this. It's amazing what you can come up with just like that, no planning at all with this & I have to say, I do rather like these!

Altered wooden boxes

Been messing about in my craft room these last few nights & have altered these boxes, given to me by my good friend Connie
The big one, I gave it a coat of Gesso, then stamped my images, used various DI, then Rock candy. The hinges had rust AI added to them.
The smaller one didn't have gesso, but again, stamped images, DI, rock candy & AI.

This is my take of a tutorial by Deanne, but I'm really not sure about it! I think I might be having another go soon!

I have altered & Distressed this cheap black notepad for the lots to do challenge, which this week is distressed.

I used Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Walnut Stain, Brushed Corduroy, Vintage Photo inks, Gold dabber, Clear rock candy, Grunge paper & grunge elements.

Thought I might as well put his TSV to good use!
But I did drop the wet notebook on my lap, so I hope rock candy comes off in the wash!
