It has been a little over a year since we last posted on our blog. A lot has been going on and a lot has changed in our family. The biggest change is the arrival of our son Alipio on March 5, 2013.
Hopefully we can be better at updating this...

Renda in Nome, AK
Every year on our anniversary we always go and take a sunset picture. This year we got a treat with having the Renda (the ship from Russia delivering fuel to Nome) in the backgroud.
We celebrated 2,555 days of being married...Hard to believe that 7 years ago we were in an ice storm in Washington and yesterday we were in -13 degrees.
Hopefully one of these years we will be able to celebrate in a warm location
(with sunsets like the one we witnessed yesterday).

Pumpkin Patch
The sun was shining and we decided to head on down to Carpinito's pumpkin patch. This year G LOVED the pumpkin patch compared to last year where she was scared of pumpkins.
Lola came with us.
and Uncle Drewbie came with us too!
She loved jumping in the puddles...
and running amongst the pumpkins.
We hope that you are all able to this time of year!

We made our way to Anchorage for the Labor Day weekend to enjoy some time out of Nome.
We enjoyed the Alaska State Fair.
With Pauline and Lola
A very large pumpkin!
1st getting her face painted.
We got to see our friends the Tomters.
Going on her first ride with Poppa!
LOVED the super slide :)
Great day at the Fair. Thankgoodness for no rain and just a little wind.
Finding the Musk Ox's at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (just outside of Girdwood and highly recommended if you have kids).
Finding the Bison with Lola.
Went to Portage where it was rainy and windy but we saw a nice chunk of the glacier that has broken off.
