I can't believe it is September. It seems not so long ago I was hanging on for Memorial Day and now it is all over. Another year has begun at the University -- new students -- my favorite thing about my job. I am so happy I got to do so many fun things with all of you this summer. It started with a great time at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This was just a ten minute walk from our camp and the view was breathtaking. How nice to have this bench to sit on while we appreciate God's handiwork.
Quite a handsome crew, if I do say so myself. The only thing that could make this picture better would be the addition of the missing people.
Oh, seeing my trailer makes me homesick. I love that thing so much. Sometimes I think about getting a new one, but I am so attached to it that I don't think I could do that. All the excitement is caused by the capture (brief capture, I might add) of a small, little creature.
Meggs named this lively little lizard "Cherry" and fell in love with him. We enjoyed his companionship for a little while and then let him go back to do what lizards do.

Group pictures are the best! It's quite a feat to get this many beautiful people looking and smiling at the camera at the same time -- well, we almost got all of them. I think the adults are the hardest because they are so focused on those beautiful liittle faces that they love so much!

This would be a very appropriate place to say,
"THE END"
However, I have so many more pictures of my little darlings that I can't stop here.
But since my laptop needs repair, I will have to end this blog and wait for it to return from repair so I can finish what I've started.
