Internet routing security is, unfortunately, one of the major vulnerabilities of the cyberspace. All network operators need to take actions to mitigate the routing security issue. MANRS principles will be an important component to improve global routing security. It is our obligation and honor to join MANRS.

As part of APNIC’s Vision: A global, open, stable, and secure Internet that serves the entire Asia Pacific community, APNIC would like to join the Internet Society’s MANRS initiative to support and contribute to reduce the most common routing threats. APNIC works extensively to assist our Members with improving their routing security to ensure the Internet is secure and safe to use.

MANRS is an excellent initiative that has allowed us to direct a greater focus on the security aspects related to our BGP infrastructure

Microsoft takes Internet security seriously and has decided to join the Internet Society's MANRS initiative to increase security for all of our customers on the Internet. Microsoft works extensively with the industry to assist our partners with improving their routing security to ensure the Internet is secure and safe to use.

Maintaining routing security hygiene is one of the most important aspects for a resilient Critical Internet Infrastructure implementation. Being a community IX, joining the MANRS program and implementing best practices will go a long way in propagating the change within the community. Joining MANRS and also working with our peers advocating the best practices are one of the key agendas towards a more secured Internet experience in the region.

RENU joins MANRS to improve its security posture on the internet by acting upon and deploying MANRS actions that can improve the security of the global routing table. For a long time, multiple routing incidents such as route hijacks, route leaks and IP address spoofing have occurred on the internet causing network outages and cost implications to many companies. RENU also wants to ease collaboration with other network operators thus encouraging stability and reliability on the internet.

Connecticut Education Network originated as a research & education network and now functions as a Tier 2 ISP for multiple industry verticals. Responsible safeguards on the signaling plane ensure we're not contributing to the spoofing/hijacking problem, and membership in MANRS reflect our commitment to making the Internet a better place for our members and their constituents.
