 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; Most toilet paper is an afterthought—bleached, loaded with synthetic additives, and designed purely for function. But for one of the body's most sensitive areas, this can irritate skin and disrupt its natural biome. Haven, a new US-based consumer brand, treats toilet paper with the same care and consideration as skincare. Built on the belief that what you wipe with matters, the brand repositions a mundane essential as a health-first product designed for wellness, not just wiping.

Studio Marina Veziko led the brand identity, packaging system, and overall creative direction, developing a visual language borrowed directly from premium cosmetics rather than household goods. This strategic shift signals a new category standard: toilet paper as body care. A restrained palette of beige and muted natural tones, drawn from Haven's unbleached bamboo paper, counters the conventional assumption that white equals clean while reinforcing the brand's gentle, chemical-free approach.
The studio directed brand photography, film, motion design, and 3D render animations, all adopting the visual vocabulary of high-end skincare. Tactile close-ups and soft, directional light emphasize materiality and calm, creating a confident expression for a product you don't need to hide away. Packaging applications, from natural-colored outer boxes to wrapping and inner tubes, were designed as a cohesive system that reinforces this holistic approach. Toilet paper reimagined with the same standards, attention, and peace of mind you'd expect from any product that touches your body.

Freestyle set out to rethink what a diaper brand could look and feel like for a new generation of parents, commissioning Studio Marina Veziko to develop the brand’s visual identity. In a category that had remained visually and culturally unchanged for decades, the studio created a new design direction that moved away from muted palettes, stock-like imagery, and cartoon prints typically associated with baby care. The work introduced a more expressive visual language through bold colour, flash-led photography, and artist collaborations.

Studio Marina Veziko designed the brand’s packaging system and led the art direction of all photography. For over three years, the studio worked closely with the founding team on a daily basis, designing marketing materials across social media, merchandise, web, and retail applications.

The brand’s early visual foundation played a key role in enabling Freestyle’s commercial rollout, supporting its expansion into major U.S. retailers including Whole Foods nationwide. This initial positioning laid the groundwork for further retail growth, with the brand later entering Walmart and Target following a later evolution of the visual identity.

︎︎︎ &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Studio Marina Veziko developed the visual identity for Limits to Growth, a performance-based project presented by FCINY as part of the NADA Miami 2025 program.

The project reinterpreted The Limits to Growth, the influential 1972 report by Donella H. Meadows and collaborators, through a nomadic exhibition and live performance unfolding throughout the fair. Visitors encountered a performer reading from the text as the work moved through the NADA Miami site.

The visual identity focused on a simple typographic system and motion-based elements derived from the core idea of “limits to growth.” Blurred typographic forms expand and accumulate over time, referencing growth beyond control while creating a subtle visual rhythm across digital and printed materials.

The project featured a performative work by Nestori Syrjälä alongside new commissioned works by Jaakko Pallasvuo and Bogna Luiza Wisniewska. Curated by Elina Suoyrjö for the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York, with performances by Heather Lyon and Misael Soto.

 Hypebae is a global editorial platform celebrating women and their stories across fashion, culture, and contemporary lifestyle. Since its launch in 2016, the digital landscape has evolved rapidly, moving from the nostalgic days of instant messaging into an era defined by constant connection, speed, and infinite streams of inspiration.

 The new logo takes a refined typographic approach. Set in a clean sans-serif and rendered in lowercase, the mark draws from the language of digital communication, referencing the immediacy and intimacy of messaging culture. The result is a clear, confident wordmark aligned with Hypebae’s forward-looking direction.

The Knotty Ones is a Baltic-inspired knitwear brand that empowers female artisans in rural Lithuania by offering financial independence through sustainable employment. Studio Marina Veziko was commissioned to lead the rebrand, developing a visual identity that reflects the brand’s craft-driven ethos while supporting its growth as an international fashion label.

The identity features a refined colour palette and sophisticated typography, merging modern minimalism with a nod to the brand’s Baltic heritage. The logo plays on the double meaning that arises from the pronunciation of “Knotty.” The flirty “O” letters add a fun touch while also resembling balls of wool, subtly hinting at the brand’s craft. The overall rebranding balances the brand’s playful spirit with its commitment to quality and tradition.

 Alongside the core identity, Studio Marina Veziko carefully developed print and packaging materials to create a cohesive tactile experience across physical touchpoints. The studio also led a comprehensive redesign of the website and online store, working closely with digital development agency Black Rooster to create a more unified and intuitive shopping environment.

BStudio Marina Veziko developed the branding and art direction for Pauli &#38;amp; Sisters, a California-based, family-owned skincare brand launching its first product, Repair Serum, a holistic hero oil designed for stretch marks, scars, and uneven skin tone.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; The visual identity moves away from the muted, earthy aesthetics often associated with organic cosmetics, introducing a more vivid and saturated colour palette across packaging and brand materials. Imagery and tone embrace a playful, youthful energy, positioning the product within a contemporary beauty landscape.
&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Inspired by the brand’s philosophy of carefully selected “hero ingredients,” the packaging features an abstract leaf motif that references protection and healing, echoing the slogan “Guardians of your skin.”

︎︎︎ &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; Studio Marina Veziko designed “What’s in the Box,” a series of typographic mailer boxes for Packhelp, a sustainable platform for custom packaging solutions.

The project explored packaging as a storytelling medium, reflecting the emotional landscape of entrepreneurship. The final design features a typographic pattern forming an endless box maze, capturing the thoughts, challenges, and momentum that shape the everyday experience of building a business.

In addition to the packaging design, Studio Marina Veziko led the art direction of the campaign imagery, using bold compositions and direct visual storytelling to extend the concept beyond the box itself. The underlying message encourages founders to think big and trust their vision.

FEW is a magazine that features different minorities and marginalized groups in Finland. Each issue is edited by a representative of the minority group in question, who is given the freedom to curate the magazine's content and strongly influence how they would like their own culture to be portrayed in the media. The magazine serves as a window into the community through the eyes of its individual members. FEW acts as a conversation starter and a bridge between the majority population and minorities, bringing fresh perspectives to the ongoing dialogue.
 &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp; For the second, Somali-themed issue, human rights activist Ujuni Ahmed took on the role of guest editor-in-chief. Ujuni's consistent work for girls' and women's rights and amplifying the voices of minority groups in Finnish society naturally aligns with the magazine's vision. With Ujuni's perspective, FEW Magazine is reshaping how Somali culture is portrayed in Finnish media - offering unique perspectives on representing the Somali community in Finland with depth, authenticity, and respect.

Laine Publishing, founded in 2016, set out to create an inspiring and visually distinctive magazine for the global knitting community. Studio Marina Veziko led the renewal of the brand’s visual identity, introducing a more contemporary design direction while maintaining the warmth and editorial sensibility that defines Laine.

The new logo draws from the meaning of the word “Laine” (wave in Finnish), translating it into fluid, wavy letterforms that reflect movement and continuity. Alongside the identity update, the website was redesigned to create a clearer and more intuitive user experience, strengthening the connection between content, commerce, and community.
 
For Laine Magazine, the project included a complete editorial redesign and masthead update. Moving away from the earthy, traditional aesthetic often associated with knitting publications, the new design introduces a fresher and more modern visual language while retaining the approachable spirit that has resonated with readers worldwide.&#38;nbsp;

︎︎︎&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp; Marina Veziko was presented the award of Graphic Designer of the Year 2021 by Grafia, the Association of Visual Communication Designers in Finland.&#38;nbsp;The award exhibition at Designmuseum in Helsinki reflects on the role of intuition and the subconscious in graphic design. The works are exhibited in a dream-like space that has been created around them. The dramatized exhibition, designed in cooperation with designer Hanna Anonen&#38;nbsp;and featuring texts by freelance journalist Elina Iida Sofia Hirvonen, seeks to guide the visitor to a source of secret wisdom.
