Here is an example of trying to convince Ivan to look to the left! He's doing a much better job, but still flops over to look to the right. At first, we had to move his head. Now he'll move his head himself but still prefers to look to the right. He'll get it eventually--and hopefully won't have a flat head! We also have to show off his cute new trick of holding a toy and shaking it. (We feed it to his left hand in hopes of him looking to the left.)
Other news: The whole family got sick from Middle School. Less than 6 weeks! We can all make it!
P.S. This movie took forever to upload. I hope you like it. It took two tries.
P.P.S. By the second try, our family is now mostly better, and everyone is getting some sleep at night!

Doctor's Visit
There is one minor thing the doctor told us to try to work on. The Baby Hero prefers to look to the right. And only to the right. He said to try to encourage him to look to the left as well. This way his head stays in the beautiful shape that it is. So our new motto is: "Choose the right, but look to the left!"
We are proud of him! He's healthy and happy!
Little Sleeper
The Baby Hero is being extremely heroic and sleeping tons! He is happy and last night he slept for six and a half hours straight! This makes the math hero so happy! I was able to finally kick the trash and start feeling tons better from a cold that has beset me for the whole week. The Baby Hero decided it was time to let me get better so he slept a lot last night!
We go in to the Doctor's today. We have only one concern--he has lost his neck. He has a double chin that shows up mostly, and we only see his neck--or what's left of it when he tries to look behind him when he's laying on the floor. He is our little chunker!

Easter and a Hair Cut
He also coos and responds as you talk to him. He smiles when I or the Bug Hero smiles at him. We just love this little angel!

Growing
Then I tried measuring him with a tape measure. He's at least 21 inches. We're going to the doctor's in two weeks and we'll get the official measurements with the percentiles. I just am always amazed at how fast this little guy is growing.
We're working on fighting the Cutler genes and teaching him to take lots of naps. Also to fight that, Mom needs to set the example. My goal for spring break is to take 1 nap a day. This is very hard for me. Don't laugh.
