Langkawi 2014

With A & C

Back from langkawi, the land of the red-brown eagle! it’s been an awesome 5 days and i think we filled it up really well considering we were rather worried that 5 days would be way too long. a lot of eating, sightseeing, trekking, and what not. so much to do in a 25km x 25km island!

a & c turned out to be pretty awesome buddies. well c was pretty boring (as expected) but a made everything more awesome and less awkward :D thank God for her!

don’t think i lost weight too :( but considering the amount of food i ate… i guess it’s understandable HAHAHA.

thank you langkawi for the awesome memories!

Day 1

• cab to hotel
• checked in
• walked the vicinity
• booked tour for mangrove
• seafood dinner nearby

Day 2

• kfc breakfast
• mangrove tour
• lunch at fish farm
• massage!
• dinner – ramli burger + char kway teow special

Day 3

• kfc breakfast
• got our car!! @ 60MYR/day
• visited temburun – just a trickle
• visited oriental village, nothing too exciting. self-highed at the swing and suspension bridges
• lunch at oriental village carpark
• trekking at seven wells + waterfalling!
• cable car
• dinner at kuah, teo’s seafood - YUMMY
• car broke down! didn’t switch off the headlights… battery died

Day 4

• breakfast at the loaf
• visited mt raja, trekked a little then sat at the viewing tower
• visited durian perangin falls
• eagle square at kuah
• secret recipe at langkawi fair mall
• night market near the jetty!
• dinner at kuah, kak yah seafood!

Day 5

• breakfast at old town white coffee
• beeeeeaaaccchhh
• showered then checked out of hotel
• visited laman padi museum
• drove around cenang
• lunch + nuaing at macs
• go-kart!
• nua-ing at starbucks
• dinner at ramli + char kway teow place
• return car
• flight back to Singapore!

Total expenditure: $487 all-in :D

posted till day 17 already - which means i'm halfway through!

can't believe it's been a year since the nz trip... so much memories in that one month.

and can't believe i'm still stuck in singapore :( roars.

US during end of the year? :P

oh yes, decided to edit my layout so i can display much bigger photos on my screen! i really like blogger's dynamic views though, too bad it doesn't have the sidebar option yet :( i need the side bar to put my entry links! :O

and btw, i will be uploading photos to add some meat to my vietnam entries... gotta be more disciplined in keeping my logs :)

trying to gain access to my old hdd which was taken out from my desktop (which spoilt). 

i hope i can recover all my documents!

more importantly, i hope my travel log on the awesome nz trip is inside :(

looking through the photos once again. i miss the placeeeee.

on a side note, i finished uploading my travel logs on the russia-china trip!
