This past week was "W" week at Tucker's school. Wed it was wacky Wed but I forgot to take pictures. Then Friday was wheels day. He got to bring his bike to school and they ate worms for snacks. Here are a few pictures from that day.
Hunter has been working really hard on all his scout stuff. This past Wed. he received his wolf, a gold arrow point and two silver arrow points. We are super proud of him.
Hunter's team this year is the Reds. He played so well for this first game. He hit the ball incrediable hard. The first hit went straight up the 3rd baseline. He is playing short stop again this year. He won his game 16 - 0.
Tucker is on the Cubs this year. We had opening ceremonies and played our first game on Saturday. Tuck got the only out the whole game letting us will the game. the Score was 14-12.
Our family came up this weekend to enjoy opening weekend with us. Between the two games we came back to our house and had a fish fry. Sorry didn't take pictures of all the yummy food. However Adam took some cute pictures of the kids. Hunter spent his time playing ball with Parker and Taylor loved on Riglee. We are thankful our families too time out of their busy schedules to come spend the day with us!
We had a great Thanksgiving. The boys played swords, Taylor was a great help, and Cali and Peyton were ready to eat. Jd fried up a turkey for the big day. After dinner we all headed to the secret pond to let our dinner settle before digging in to the desserts.
For Youth Weekend, Justin took both of the boys. Hunter got one first thing this morning all by himself. They were about to get off the stand and another one came out giving Tuck and chance. Both boys were way excited!!
Justin got a new deer feeder for the hunting lease and Tucker had more fun playing in it.
We finally finished the dining room wall and I was done a few other things to decorate the house a little.
We had to say good bye to two great missionaries! We are sad to see them go but we know that the Lord needs there help in other areas! Obedience to the End Elder Hong and Elder Garlic!!
They are so silly! It is so hard to believe that they are getting so big. Hunter moved to a new school and so now I get to go to 3 different schools. Hey have all grown so much and loved the first week of school!
I was just looking at a blog that one of the team mom's set up and I was able to pull a few pictures off there from the tournament! Way cute!! Look really close and look at all Hunters facial expressions.
Hunters team for the fall is called the Strikers. We played in a tournament a few Saturdays back in Texas City. After the boys played hard 2 games back to back we had a swimming party. Here are a few pictures from that. I dont get to take pictures during the games because I keep the books. Thankfully we have great friends who have taken awesome pictures of Hunter that I cant wait for them to email to me!
Hunter is now old enough to go to scouts. We came in just in time to get to be apart of the Rain Gutter Regotta. For those of you that have no clue what that is, you make boats then you have to use straws to blow them down gutters. Oh and its a race. The boys had a lot of fun. Then for dessert they had ice cream sundaes out of the gutter.
Saturdays usually end up pretty crazy around here. A few Saturdays ago, we ended up with Tuck, Parker and the Seekins boys here. They wanted to get in the pool and boy did those boys have a blast!
We got this little pool this summer and it has been wonderful. The kids and Justin have had a great time in it. The kids got in about 2 to 3 times a day. In the evening time Justin would get in by himself for a while and relax. Before long the kids would figure out that he had snuck out there. This is usually what happened after that!
The day after the 4th, we headed to the lake with all of Jd's family. We stayed for several hours and had lots of fun. Justin and Hunter both got really bad sunburned. I know what you are going to say and we applied sunscreen 3 or 4 times. Me who always burns didnt really so I was stoked about that. Oh and I am going to post a picture of my father in law on here. I have been almost married for 10 yrs now and I have never and I mean never seen him in shorts until now!! Way to go Gordy!!
