I love Christmas! Chris rolls his eyes at me every year as I struggle to wait until the evening of Thanksgiving before pulling out my Christmas decorations. I love having reminders of the Christmas spirit of love, giving, and the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ in my home. Here are some of my nativities: from Rome, Sweden, Alaska, and Jerusalem.
The kids had a blast decorating the tree....and redecorating the tree... They especially love the bells and will often take bells from the tree to go around the house singing Jingle Bells. I love it! We got our precious angel for the top from a local holiday manufacture. We can get very fancy Christmas decorations for a fraction of the price we could get them in America.
Another nativity from Jerusalem and two nativities from Zimbabwe.
This nativity is about the size of Kyle and I love it! I moved the table behind the couch a week before Thanksgiving in preparation. It became the new play zone for the kids. I was nervous, but I broke out the nativity (a few days early) and the kids only go over there to talk to baby Jesus. They stay on this side of the couch. Phew!
My gorgeous Santa from the local Christmas shop.
Wendy loves our Elf. And she was very excited to get on the little table behind our other couch to take a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
When my mom was here, she helped me decorate my kids rooms a bit more. I kind of ran out of steam when I got here. Then my friend Michele gave me these amazing name photos for my kids as a baby gift to Maxwell. They look so great and my kids love them!
This was allot of work! I just didn't have the heart to put it on the floor or have a baby throw up on it. So, it is now a wall hanging in Maxwell's ABC room. YAY!
My mom helped me with these ABC pillows. They turned out to be more work than I thought, so I'm grateful my mom was here to finish them!
Such a big boy!
Kyle's cowboy room still needs some work, but it's a start.
