The Fun Never Stops!

So yesterday, we went to Jerome, AZ with Sue & Brad. For those of you who don't know about Jerome: I think it was an old mining town in the 1800's. It was built literally up the side of a mountain. It looks like a little town in Europe somewhere. Anyway, they have a bunch of cute little shops and restaurants. We decided to eat at THE HAUNTED HAMBURGER. It was GREAT food, not really that scary. It was a good day for it too. When we left Prescott Valley, it was cloudy, the wind was blowing and there was thunder & lightning!! It put us in the mood for a haunted hamburger!

And Then ...

AFTER our week in St George with the family, we decided we hadn't spent enough time with everyone. AND we HAD to see all our friends back in Syracuse. SO we spent another 3 weeks at Grandma's house. I think we overstayed our welcome!

Our BUSY Summer

OK, so here are some of the things we have been doing this summer. My parents made it possible for all my sisters (except one) and their families to take a family vacation in St. George this year. We LOVE being with our family, especially now that we don't get to do it whenever we want to.

Once again ...

OK, I know it's been a very long time since I updated this blog. I think FB took over for a while. Anyway, I'm baaaack! And the news is ... we're moving AGAIN. Yes, it's been less than a year that we left our family and friends in Utah and came to Arizona and now we are heading to Roseville, CA. We've met wonderful people and made wonderful friends here in Arizona, and it's been great to spend time with my sister Sue and her husband Brad and my cousins who all live here. We will miss them all so much!!! So the big move will take place on August 5th. In the meantime, we'll just wait. We have all our stuff packed up, except of course for the necessities of life like food, beds, the Wii and the computer. We're trying to get in our last visits with Aunt Sue, our cousins, and our friends before we leave. These last 2 weeks should be fun!

fall is here ...

and it is wonderful!! Fall is my FAVORITE season, but it seems like it gets skipped a lot. Seems like we're sweltering in August, September cools a little and then October brings snow. Apparently, that's not how it works here. August wasn't too hot, September was great, October has been great ... I love it!! Today we went hiking and the sun was shining and there was a little breeze - PERFECT.

Happy Birthday Jilly Bean!

I can't believe my baby is one! She's such a fun baby too! When she is happy, she is off the wall happy and when she is mad, do not get in her way! It keeps life very interesting. She loves baby dolls! She will give them loves and kisses all day long, but she only doles out hugs and kisses to real people sparingly. She knows the meaning of the word "no". Not that that really ever stops her. She waves hello and goodbye, and sometimes she just waves for the fun of it. She loves her Dad, but I don't blame her. It's just that she's becoming a daddy's girl too soon. I'm losing her! Guess I'll just have to have another one. J/K! She loves music and has some pretty sweet moves! Unlike her siblings, she'll eat pretty much anything you put in front of her ... hence the beautiful rolls of baby fat and the sweet thunder thighs! We love you Jillian!!

Saturday Night in Town Square

We came into town to see Micah at work but of course he got called out. So, we hung out in front of the courthouse for a while waiting for him to get back. The kids struck up a game of tag with some other random kids there in the bandstand and had a great time. Then, they worked out the rest of their energy running up and down the courthouse steps and making wishes in the water fountain. Rockin' good time for a Saturday night!
