At its core, Lorefy is a dynamic approach to enhancing community engagement through on-chain gamification. This method not only incentivizes participation but also introduces a playful, interactive element into the community experience where everyone’s contributions matter.

In the CG Meta Game, the main goal is to gather as much $VIL as you can. It starts when you get your CG Hero, making you eligible to claim a share of the 10 Billion $VIL monthly airdrop after completing at least one Quest (this could either be a social, on-chain or in-game Quest). A snapshot of Heroes and their scores will be taken monthly, with the airdrop amount proportional to each Hero’s score relative to others. So the higher your Hero score, the more you will earn! Each Hero will be eligible to claim a share, so users with multiple Heroes can claim once for each of them.

But there’s more you can do to get even more $VIL. You need to make your Hero stronger by acquiring special Items. These Items aren’t just for show; they help boost your Hero and increase the $VIL you can collect.

How does this all work? Let’s dive into it!

1. Navigate to Lorefy: https://www.lorefy.io/

2. Click on “Enter App”.

3. Click on “View Community” of Crypto-Guilds.

4. Now connect your wallet on the top right, and make sure it’s the same Polygon address which you are going to use later on in your Zealy account.

5. In order to start your CG Meta Game adventure, you need to have a Community Character in your wallet. In the CG Meta Game, this is the CG Hero as shown above. Every community has its own Community Character though.

6. If you don’t already own a Hero, you can get a hold of one in three different ways:

A) Have your lucky day, and win a Hero through a raffle or airdrop

B) Buy one on the secondary market: https://magiceden.io/collections/polygon/0xD72FA14226f283211e3746b2bbA6d5002Eb00627

C) Buy one in the Shop: https://www.lorefy.io/community/crypto-guilds/shop

7. If you would like to buy a Hero in the Shop, you need 1.000.000 $VIL. You can buy $VIL on Uniswap: https://app.uniswap.org/explore/tokens/polygon/0x34a8911a238f0d32bb464dcd329112b895958daa

8. Now that you’re a proud owner of your first CG Hero, you want to boost its score to earn more $VIL. You can do so by collecting Loot Boxes, which you can either Buy (50.000 $VIL), get through Staking (1.000.000 $VIL for 50 days) or claim when you complete Quests.

9. You can find the Loot Box in your Inventory. From here, you can open your Loot Box which contains your Item. There are 4 different rarity types (common, rare, epic, legendary). Will you be the lucky one?

10. Now you’ve opened your Loot Box and claimed your Item, it’s time to equip your Hero to boost its score! You can do so by clicking on the Item slot depending on which Item you received. In this example, I received and equipped a Belt, which boosted the score to 11!

11. It’s time to complete your first Quest. Since the API of Zealy is connected with Lorefy, you’re able to complete a Quest on Zealy and receive a reward on Lorefy. Therefore, you first have to create a Zealy account: https://zealy.io

12. Now you have your Zealy account, navigate to the CG Meta Game community: https://zealy.io/cw/cryptoguilds

13. On the top right, click on “Join Crypto-Guilds Meta Game”.

14. Go to your Account settings, and fill in your Polygon address (make sure this is the same Polygon address you have your CG Hero at, or the Polygon address you wish to use if you don’t own a CG Hero yet). Also make sure you connect all your accounts in Zealy under “Linked accounts” (Twitter, Discord, etc).

15. Navigate back to Lorefy, to the “Quests” page. Pick a Quest you would like to complete, like this “Follow on Twitter” Quest.

16. You will now be directed to Zealy, where you should follow the necessary steps in order to claim that you completed the Quest.

17. You can now claim your Loot Box reward on Lorefy. Go back to the Quests page, and click on “Claim”.

18. You can now open your Loot Box, equip your Item, and boost your Hero score even more. Keep doing this to rank up and climb the leaderboard!

19. Since you’ve now completed your first Quest, you’re also eligible to claim a share of the 10 Billion $VIL monthly airdrop. Use this $VIL to grab even more Loot Boxes, and become the most powerful Hero in the CG Meta Game.

Mint your own Hero

One of the major highlights of this relaunch is that players will soon have the opportunity to mint their own Hero by burning 1 million $VIL coins, adding a fresh element of strategy and personalization to the game. The introduction of new Heroes brings more ways to play, with each Hero adding unique aspects to the game’s strategy and growth.

To further engage our community and provide value, we are going to update the pricing for shop items and introduce new utilities for $VIL tokens:

• Loot Box 1: Stake 1 million $VIL for 50 days
• Loot Box 2: Burn 50,000 $VIL
• Rare Loot Box: Burn 250,000 $VIL
• Epic Loot Box: Burn 1 million $VIL
• Legendary Loot Box: Burn 4 million $VIL

New Loot Boxes with unique items and rarities will be introduced periodically.

Monthly Airdrops

Starting in April, we will distribute 1% of $VIL tokens monthly through airdrops to active users. Eligibility requires completing at least one quest in the preceding month. A snapshot of Heroes and their scores will be taken monthly, with the airdrop amount proportional to each Hero’s score relative to others. Unclaimed tokens within a month will be burned. A maximum of 10 Heroes per wallet will be eligible to claim a share, so users with multiple Heroes can claim once for each of them.

Community Quests

We are shortly introducing a feature that allows anyone to create Quests for our community by burning $VIL tokens. Initially, we will focus on social Quests, with plans to expand to on-chain and in-game Quests. Pricing for creating social Quests (in $) will be dynamic.

This new utility for $VIL will necessarily create buy and burn pressure from other communities and individuals willing to gain exposure to CG Community.

Updated Scoring System and Tokenomics

We’ve updated our points system in the game to be more balanced and engaging. Now, your Hero, which was initially worth 100 points, will be valued at 1 point. But here’s a twist — equipping a new Skin to your Hero will add extra points to your character’s score, depending on the specific Skin. This change brings a fresh dynamic to how you strategize and play, adding more depth to your gaming experience. Get ready to explore this new scoring system and see how it enhances your journey!

Moreover, the new tokenomics structure ensures a sustainable and growing ecosystem, with a significant portion of the tokens allocated for early adopters, a CG Relaunch airdrop campaign, and monthly releases to active Heroes contributing to the ecosystem:

• 8.5% has been airdropped to our beta testers, forming the current circulating supply of 85,174,397,042 tokens.
• 0.5% is set aside for the CG Relaunch airdrop campaign, adding another 4,825,602,958 tokens.
• 71% of the tokens will be released gradually, at 1% each month, starting in April 2024. These tokens are for Heroes completing Quests and contributing to the ecosystem.
• Our treasury holds 20% of $VIL tokens. Annually, we plan to release 5% of these holdings, starting next year, to support ongoing operations and growth.

Finally, we’re gearing up to launch new social, on-chain and in-game Quests soon. • Claim Your New Hero: After the burn, you can immediately mint your new Hero on the same platform, marking your entry into the expanded world.

Step 3: Pick Your Hero

Search for a Hero you connect with. The percentages shown (like “50%”) hint at your potential earnings. So, 50% could mean you might earn around $7.5 from a Hero’s total $15 earnings upon completing a Quest.

Step 4: Rent the Hero

Click on the Hero you like and set how long you want to rent it (we suggest at least 1 day). Hit “Rent” and confirm through your wallet. Remember, if you own or are already renting a Hero, you can’t rent another.

Step 5: Get Set to Quest

Once rented, go to Crypto-Guilds’ Quests and connect your wallet. There’s a minimal gas fee on Polygon to engage your Hero for the Quest, but it’s typically under $0.05. Once done, your Hero is ready for action. You might need a few refreshes to see the “Rented” Hero in your wallet.

Step 6: Start the Quest

Your mission for Quest #1 is to “Win 1 Ranked Game” in Cards of Ethernity. Need help? There’s a guide for that.

Step 7: Monitor Your Progress

Once done, you can see how you did on the Leaderboard using the Hero ID. Remember, updates might take a few hours.

Step 8: Enjoy Your Rewards

After the quest, wait for the Pool of Rewards announcement, expected around mid-September for Quest #1. Then, it’s time to claim your earnings!

Claim Your Heroic Destiny

With this guide, you’re all set to rent a Hero and earn rewards. It’s a journey of teaming up, questing, and reaping the benefits. With Quest #2 on its way, there’s more adventure ahead. Dive in and become legendary!

Step 1: Get a CG Hero

First, you need a CG Hero. Buy one from OpenSea or get a Discovery Box. Opening the box on CG Hero Hub gives you a Hero and 50 million $VIL coins.

Step 2: Pick the Best Hero to Lend

Base your decision on the Hero’s Hero Score and the potential earnings it holds. This crucial step sets the stage for a rewarding lending experience.

Step 3: Head to IQ Protocol

Go to IQ Protocol and click on the Crypto-Guilds section. This is where you list your Hero for lending and can find all the CG Heroes already listed and under which conditions.

Step 4: Listing Your Hero

Connect your wallet to access your Heroes and start the listing process. Choose the Hero you wish to lend and proceed by clicking “Unlock.”

Step 5: Set Your Lending Terms

Decide how you want to lend. You can choose a Revenue Share model, set a daily rental price, or even lend for free. Make sure the rental time is just right— long enough for the renter to complete the Quest yet short enough to welcome new opportunities.

Step 6: Keep an Eye on Your Hero’s Quest

Stay in the loop with your Hero’s progress. Check the Leaderboard using your Hero ID to track the completion status of the Quest.

Step 7: Wait for the Results

The leaderboard updates every few hours. Once the Quest is over, the Pool of Rewards will be shared among the participants.

Step 8: Get Your Earnings

After the rewards are given out, it’s time to claim your share. If you choose the revenue share model, you’ll get your calculated portion. Renters will find their share on the CG Meta Game platform.

Every Hero ID that completes the Quest gets 5 USDC. Easy as that. But the Royalties and $VIL are a shared prize. The higher your Hero Score, the bigger piece of that prize you get.

All About $VIL Coins

$VIL is a big part of Quest #1 rewards. There’s 1 Trillion of them in total! After Quest #1, about 100 Billion $VIL will circulate (10% of the supply).

Before the Quest ends, we’ll release a liquidity pool with the $VIL price at 1 $VIL = $0.0000005. That influences the value of the Pool of Rewards.

Let’s say 800 Heroes, with an average score of 100, finish the Quest. What do you earn?

We’re excited to announce that Crypto-Guilds — a Web3 gaming ecosystem using Moonstream’s open-source infrastructure — has integrated Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) on Polygon mainnet. By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, we now have access to a tamper-proof and auditable source of randomness needed to help randomize the contents of our loot boxes. Ultimately this creates a more exciting and transparent user experience, as users can verify that the random number generator (RNG) underpinning our loot boxes is fair and transparent.

Crypto-Guilds is a B2B ecosystem helping hundreds of guilds and games connect. Crypto-Guilds has launched Meta Game, a “game about a game” blending reality with fiction. The CG Meta game is inspired by real characters that had an impact on the crypto community, and integrated into CG lore. The game itself relies on completing monthly quests in different Web3 games in order to collect rewards.

Moonstream helped Crypto-Guilds put the Metagame on chain. The Metagame uses Moonstream Leaderboards as a scoring system. It uses Drops to easily distribute rewards to players. It uses the NFT Inventory to add inventory slots to player character NFTs. The Terminus protocol gives it the ability to create NFT player badges and items. And, most importantly, Lootboxes, which randomize the distribution of inventory items — weapons, armor, and other forms of gear — to Metagame players.

In order to help randomize our loot boxes, we need access to a secure RNG that any user could independently audit. However, RNG solutions for smart contracts require several security considerations to prevent manipulation and ensure system integrity. For instance, RNG solutions derived from blockchain data like block hashes can be exploited by miners/validators, while off-chain RNG solutions derived from off-chain APIs are opaque and don’t provide users with definitive proof about the integrity of the process.

After reviewing various solutions, we selected Chainlink VRF because it’s based on cutting-edge academic research, supported by a time-tested oracle network, and secured through the generation and on-chain verification of cryptographic proofs that prove the integrity of each random number supplied to smart contracts.

Chainlink VRF works by combining block data that is still unknown when the request is made with the oracle node’s pre-committed private key to generate both a random number and a cryptographic proof. The Crypto-Guilds smart contract will only accept the random number input if it has a valid cryptographic proof, and the cryptographic proof can only be generated if the VRF process is tamper-proof. This provides our users with automated and verifiable assurances directly on-chain that our loot boxes are provably fair and were not tampered with by the oracle, outside entities, or the Crypto-Guilds team.
