A hackathon’s reach is only as wide as its network. By the time Demo Day arrived, the Horizon Hackathon had assembled a partner ecosystem spanning seven co-hosts, nine media partners, and sixty-plus ecosystem organizations.

The network effect was real. Projects came in from every continent. The 450+ registered developers reflected communities that our partners had spent years building.

Developer and Technical Support

Getting 450+ developers to build production-quality applications on a new chain in six weeks requires more than a prize pool.

HashKey Chain provided builders with direct access to chain documentation, technical onboarding resources, and infrastructure from AWS. Teams could build, test, and deploy on HashKey Chain with cloud support from Day 1.

The pre-screening process, run through a combination of AI-assisted evaluation and human review, gave every submission a structured read across six dimensions: track fit, project completeness, team quality, solution value, authenticity, and code quality. Of 220+ submissions, 160+ cleared the first round. It was not a filter designed to cut projects. It was a signal to teams about where their submissions stood before Demo Day.

December 10, 2025 – HashKey Chain has officially launched the $HSK staking program season 2. The upgrade delivers comprehensive improvements to the yield structure, allocation transparency, and incentive mechanisms. It also introduces an ecosystem incentive pool and loyalty rewards, offering participants a more stable, fair, and sustainable staking experience.

Comprehensive Enhancement of the Reward Structure:

The upgraded $HSK staking program adopts a fixed-rate model. Unlike previous floating-rate structures affected by market fluctuations, the current APY is stable, transparent, and predictable, allowing participants to earn consistent rewards under clear, well-defined rules.

There are no entry barriers, and users can start staking with just 1 $HSK and begin earning immediately. The expected annualized yield is 5% – 8%, with a fixed APY of 5% and an additional 1%-3% APY allocated as long-term user incentive rewards.

Long-Term User Incentives and Reward Mechanisms

To further reward users who have continued to support the ecosystem, this round of the staking program introduces a Loyalty Bonus. Participants from the previous staking cycle will receive a one-time additional reward at the end of the current cycle, calculated based on their staking duration in the previous round.

The bonus tiers are as follows:

• Previous staking term of 365 days: +3% one-time bonus
• Previous staking term of 180 days: +2% one-time bonus
• Previous staking term of 30 or 90 days: +1% one-time bonus

Note: All bonus rates are determined by the user’s actual staking record from the previous cycle. The bonus will be distributed in a single payment upon completion of the current staking period.

In addition, this round introduces an ecosystem-specific incentive pool funded by the portion of rewards deducted when users unlock early. Under the new rules, if a user unstakes before the end of the staking period, 50% of any earned rewards will be deducted. If rewards have already been claimed, the corresponding penalty will be deducted from the principal. All deducted amounts will be allocated to the ecosystem incentive pool and distributed proportionally to participants who complete the full staking period.

This mechanism encourages long-term participation while enhancing the sustainability of the overall incentive cycle.

2. Reward Calculation: Rewards accrue linearly on a daily basis and become available for withdrawal on a T+1 schedule.

为了进一步回馈长期支持生态的用户，本轮质押计划增设了忠实用户奖励机制。曾参与上一轮质押的用户，均可在本轮质押期满后按其在上一轮的质押时长获得一次性额外奖励，具体规则如下：

. 上一轮质押期限为 365 天：额外一次性奖励 +3%

. 上一轮质押期限为 180 天：额外一次性奖励 +2%

. 上一轮质押期限为 30 天 或 90 天：额外一次性奖励 +1%

说明：奖励以用户在上一轮的实际质押记录为准，奖励将在本轮质押到期后一次性发放。

此外，本轮质押还引入了生态专项激励池，其来源为提前解锁时产生的收益扣减部分。根据新规则，若用户在质押周期结束前提前解锁，已获得收益将扣减 50%；如用户已提前领取收益，则相应罚没将从本金中扣除。被扣除的部分将全部注入生态专项激励池，并在本轮质押结束后，按比例分配给全程完成质押的参与者。

这一机制既强化了对长期参与者的激励，也确保生态内部激励循环的可持续性。

质押周期与收益发放规则：

1. 质押周期：365 天
2. 收益计算：收益线性解锁并每日计算，收益按日产生，即T+1可提取。
3. 领取方式：用户可按照按 T+1 规则，随时领取已解锁的收益。

灵活、透明、可追踪的收益结构，确保所有质押用户都能在链上获得可验证、可持续的回报。
