New Rewards

When we last announced that the winners would receive the Mystery Box and additional cash rewards in the future, we were warned and told that it was not allowed.

Since then, we cannot talk about 100% additional rewards, so the decision was made to develop new prizes.

Meet Ruby Pirates Bronze, Silver and Gold trophies:

1st place — Ruby Pirates Gold Trophy
2nd place — Ruby Pirates Silver Trophy
3rd place — Ruby Pirates Bronze Trophy

This is still Ethereum NFT, but now they will not have additional cash prizes. However, this does not exclude the possibility that the winners may be additionally provided with other NFTs from Ruby Pirates later.

The winners will be announced at the end of May according to the highest score in the table.

Ruby Pirates Big Quiz

So that the quiz does not become boring and monotonous, we came up with the idea to create something more than a regular quiz and we came up with a Big Quiz, which will be held twice in May and will be announced in the Mavia discord.

The Big Quiz will differ in some parameters:

• Questions will be 10–15
• A new type of questions will appear — “puzzles”, in which you will need to guess the word. This is how the puzzle will look like:

• A new type of questions — “Word Search”. To get points you need to find the first 3 words among the letters that refer to Mavia. Sneak peeks later…
• Also some questions will be marked “Bonus”, which means that the first 3 people who answer correctly will receive points for this question.

It’s time to tell you about our main development, which we have been creating and implementing since the beginning of Mavia Elite. Meet Mavia Wallet!

Introducing Mavia Wallet — quick access to your property

Due to the Mavia ecosystem successfully developing and growing bigger every day, we are now offering developers a wallet that’s specifically tailored for Mavia.

The wallet will be a browser extension, and there will also be a version for Android and IOS mobile devices.

The wallet was designed to solve several problems at once. One of the problems is that to view your Mavia NFTs you will have to open the Mavia website and connect to a third-party wallet.

With Mavia Wallet it’s now possible to quickly send the necessary coins and tokens from it, view your Mavia NFTs, and interact with them in every possible way. All this will be available with just one click! To access it, you do not have to open a separate third-party wallet and Mavia website — everything is available in one place.

Design

We spent a significant amount of time designing the wallet to fit the overall picture of Mavia, and not make anything confusing.

We had some disagreements about which logo would be better to use for the Mavia Wallet, and we settled on this:

The angular shapes are reminiscent of the Mavia logo, and the form of the shield indicates the privacy and security of the wallet.

Also, the wallet will support two color themes — light and dark, which will make the wallet more convenient to use at any time of the day.

As for the font, it did not suffer any changes, it will be the same as the Mavia logo.

Wallet Inside

The wallet will have extensive functionality and will be divided into several departments, among which there will be:

• Coins section
• Mavia NFTs section
• Bridge & Staking (soon)
• Settings

We will explain in more detail about each section, but first, I will show you how the wallet will look from the beginning.

There’s nothing unusual here — just a welcome window where you can choose to create a new wallet or import an old one. In addition to entering the seed phrase, the user will also be required to set a password and enter his/her Mavia nickname.

P.S. In the future, we’re considering adding the ability to use a wallet in conjunction with a hardware wallet (Ledger or Trezor) for better security.

Coins Section

After successfully creating a wallet, you will be taken to the coins section, where $ETH, $MAVIA and $RUBY tokens will be displayed.

Here you can easily see the statistics of your portfolio: the value of each coin, 24h % change, the total value of your portfolio, and so on. In addition to displaying information, you can send coins to other wallets and view and share your Ethereum address. Nothing unusual; everything is like in a regular wallet.

NFTs Section

The second and probably the most crucial section for the user is the tab with NFTs, which are related to the subject of Mavia — lands, heroes, statues, and others.

Here you can manage your NFTs — put them on sale, list them for rent, form partnerships with other players or send them to another address.

The number and statistics of each NFT will also be visible, for example, the type of land (Common, Rare or Legendary), HQ Base Level, or the level of heroes.

Settings

The last of the main tabs are in Settings. Here you can change the name for the wallet (not Mavia’s nickname), change the interface language, change the password for accessing the wallet on a separate device, change the extension/app theme and completely delete the wallet from the extension or mobile app.

Also, in the future we plan to add the ability to set an auto-off timer and an address book.

We remind you that the task of the Ruby Pirates team is to bring benefits to Mavia, and that’s why we decided to develop this idea. It can simplify the interaction with Mavia and provide significant benefits to users. The design and functionality have been carefully thought out, but it is still only a beta version.

After some time, our team came to the conclusion that writing greetings in chat is not a quality engagement. Therefore, we came up with a unique way to interact with the community, which will bring positive emotions and even rewards to everyone.

Meet Ruby Pirates Quiz!

Ruby Pirates Quiz is a game that we will be playing almost every day on the Mavia discord. The essence of the game is that Arasaky (the captain of the Ruby Pirates team) will ask questions, and whoever answers the question correctly first will receive points for which the winner will receive a prize at the end of the month.

Now, let’s get a little more detailed:

A few hours before the start of the game, the exact time will be published on Ruby Pirates Twitter (https://twitter.com/RubyPirates), so turn on notifications so you don’t miss the game.

Then, in 💬┃general-chat of the Mavia discord, 3 — 10 questions will be asked for some time. Questions will be on the topic of Mavia, NFT, cryptocurrencies, etc. Whoever writes the correct answer to the question first will receive a certain number of points (depending on the complexity of the question).

Rewards

Let’s now talk about sweet — rewards❤️ The top players with the most points will receive exclusive rewards from our team. Since the end of March is already close, we decided to allocate only one prize.

The player who scores the most points and takes first place will receive Ethereum NFT “Ruby Pirates Mystery Box (Rare)”!

This NFT is unusual — very soon after receiving this NFT you will receive additional prizes, among which may be $ETH (20–150$), $RUBY or $MAVIA tokens, Mavia NFTs, our NFTs, etc. The most important is not to give it to anyone, otherwise additional prizes will be sent to another address.

Next month, we will most likely give away the Common, Rare and Legendary boxes! But we do not promise, as the rules of the game may change.

What is Mavia Elite?

Mavia Elite — a new and unique type of ambassador program which combines the very same elements used in the Mavia Land NFT whitelist, but with a competitive twist.

Every member of the Mavia Elite becomes an ambassador for Mavia, helping to spread awareness and promote the project, and receive rewards in return. However, unlike traditional ambassador programs, the Mavia Elite members must join teams and work together to compete against other Mavia Elite teams.

Teams of 10 community members can unite forces, and work together as a unit to produce quality content, art, memes and more.

Teams can choose their own custom name and branding, and they must work together combining their talents and skills to produce the best combined portfolio of submissions across several different mediums of content/contributions to the Mavia community.

At the end of each month, the teams will submit their portfolio of work for the community, moderators and judge panel to review and vote upon. There will be three Tiers of winners, with 20 winning teams total. The 20 winning teams will be rewarded with Mavia NFT whitelists, in-game items and other gifts. Additionally, winning teams and their members will be showcased on the Mavia Elite webpage, permanently recording and displaying their victory for that month for all to see.

Mavia Elite Updates

Now lets talk about Mavia Elite updates. Due to the fact that about 110 teams take part in Mavia Elite, it was decided to increase the number of winning teams.

In March, there will be 20 winning teams and each member of the winning teams will receive their awards.

The prizes for the first month of Mavia Elite are the following:

• Common Tier teams get whitelisted for the 2nd land drop (common) + Infantry Skin — 14 teams
• Rare Tier teams get whitelisted for the 2nd land drop (common or rare) + $20 worth of ruby + Vehicle Skin — 3 Teams
• Legendary Tier teams get whitelisted for the 2nd land drop (common, rare, or legendary) + $50 worth of ruby + Hero Skin — 3 teams

Attention! All members of the winning team will receive the same rewards.

What should teams do?

At the end of the month, each team will complete forms for each category.

The 4 categories of Mavia Elite submissions are:

• Meme Submissions (10%) — fun and creative ways to quickly spread joy regarding Mavia
• Art Submissions (25%) — Original works of art related to Mavia
• Content Submissions (30%) — Twitter threads, Medium blogs, TikTok videos, YouTube videos, and more. All Mavia related content
• Community Engagement (35%) — Actively participating in the Mavia community by helping others, being involved in community events, and having fun getting to know each other. Quality over quantity is important here, spamming for no reason will incur negative points for each team.

Remember! Quality over quantity. Mavia needs quality content and our team will do everything necessary for this.
