Scroll Canvas is your unique space to display onchain credentials, status and achievements issued and collected across the Scroll ecosystem. As you interact with different Scroll projects and collect Badges, your story unfolds on Scroll Canvas. The onchain space is more than just tokens — it is also a piece of your social life and your reputation.

These badges are unique onchain attestations powered by @eas_eth, each carrying its own seal of authenticity.

Badges are soulbound, non-transferable proofs representing important milestones, contributions, and accomplishments in your Scroll journey.

Zebra is a fully permissionless and composable decentralized exchange built on Scroll. It is committed to providing users with a one-stop liquidity service that is cheaper, easier to use, and more secure.

Zebra is a permissionless protocol, allowing users to freely trade target assets or provide liquidity to earn rewards without losing custody of their funds.

Efficient and Low Fees

Built on Scroll, Zebra has lower gas costs and better scalability than networks like Bitcoin and BSC, thanks to its support for zero-knowledge technology. This enables Zebra to offer users more competitive products.

Composability

Zebra focuses on the convenience of integration in product development, adhering to the concept of liquidity-as-a-service. In the future, Zebra will provide developers with more API services, making it easy for developers to access Zebra’s liquidity and build their own products and services.

Advantages of Scroll

Scroll is an L2 public chain based on ZK Rollup and jointly developed by the Scroll and Ethereum Foundation teams. Its most prominent feature is that it is natively compatible with existing applications and tools on Ethereum. This feature allows applications on Ethereum to be easily migrated to Scroll.

Scroll closed two rounds of funding in 2022, totaling $33 million, and in March this year, it received another $50 million round. It’s valued at $1.8 billion and has raised $83 million in total funding.

Financing sources include Polychain Capital, Sequoia Capital China, IOSG, and many other well-known institutions, which can be said to be strong.

Zebra has been live for one month, and together with the community, we have achieved a lot. We are now the top native protocol in the Scroll ecosystem in terms of TVL. We have the best liquidity for wsETH/ETH, and our trading volume continues to reach new highs.

But that’s not all. After several months of development, we are now officially rolling out our V2 version, which represents higher capital efficiency and a more flexible fee mechanism. We look forward to embarking on a new journey of providing more secure and efficient liquidity services.

Summary of V2 new features

1. “granular control” allows them to set minimum and high prices on the price ranges to which they allocate their capital. This is done by combining all positions into one pool, creating one aggregated curve for traders to use.
2. Introduce a 3-tier fee structure to replace the current 0.3% fee, providing a more reasonable compensation for the potential risks faced by liquidity providers.
3. Offer non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to represent the positions of liquidity providers.
4. Improved price oracles for faster and cheaper price checks, thanks to the keeping of a cumulative record of previous inquiries.

Concentrated Liquidity

In Version 2.0, liquidity providers can set price ranges for the liquidity they provide, enabling them to bind their provided assets to a specific price range.

In version 1.0, the capital provided by liquidity providers is all pooled together and provided to traders without being restricted by price ranges. If someone wants to set a price range for the liquidity they provide, the only option is to create a new liquidity pool. This liquidity pool is not always profitable as it carries high gas fees and the risk of impermanent losses. Concentrated liquidity allows providers to have a superior experience, better control over their risk exposure, and increased capital efficiency.

Fee Tier Structure

We have introduced multiple fee tiers in V2, namely 0.05%, 0.3%, and 1%. This new fee structure allows liquidity providers to set an acceptable risk level for their liquidity.

Liquidity providers can choose between high-risk unrelated token pairs and related token pairs and are compensated appropriately for bearing these risks. In the future, fee tiers can be increased or adjusted through governance.

Non-Fungible Liquidity

Fungible ERC-20 tokens will no longer be issued in the V2 version to represent liquidity provider positions. Instead, it will offer non-fungible tokens (NFTs) representing liquidity providers’ positions.

Transaction fees will no longer be automatically reinvested into the liquidity pool by LPs. Meanwhile, we anticipate more ecosystem partners to create peripheral contracts to provide this functionality.

Security Audits:

Security is paramount, and for the new version, we have collaborated with renowned security audit firms, SlowMist and FairyProof, for multiple rounds of cross-audits. It is reliable, and we are now launching V2 officially, aiming to provide users with a more secure and efficient liquidity service.
