Este sábado 11 de febrero se realizó la primer edición del CDM3X, un gran espacio para conectarse con profesionales, aprender de artistas y construir con creadores de la Web3, en el cual nosotros fuimos parte de su organización.

El evento que se llevó en Hotsson Hotel CDMX, presentó pláticas educativas y fue también un espacio en donde se pudo convivir y realizar networking entre todos sus asistentes.

Las charlas comenzaron con la participación del proyecto Metagals, una iniciativa dedicada a realizar reuniones consecutivas para que mujeres puedan aprender más sobre la Web3.

Dentro de su participación compartieron la experiencia del trabajo que han realizado para poder acercar o introducir a chicas a estos temas.

Como siguiente intervención tuvimos la presencia de Tulaart, quienes nos enseñaron sobre su trabajo en creación de lugares del mundo físico en realidad virtual.

Por otra parte, tuvimos la participación de representantes de BBVA, quienes anunciaron la que será su primera colección de NFTs.

De igual forma, la artista Fer Boccard, creadora de la colección Serious & Cool People NFT, nos habló de la obra que realiza y sobre su nueva colección.

El invitado especial de la noche fue Alejandro Glatt, quien compartió una charla sobre su proyecto Crypto Papayas, cuyo arte junto al de Anana NFTs, fueron seleccionados para ser transportados a la luna en una misión de SpaceX.

Para cerrar la noche, Mocre realizó una subasta de una pieza en colaboración con Seres Arte Media, la cual fue vendida en más de 30 mil pesos.

2022 was a good year for us, many things happened in our project: collaborations with our partners and events that brought us closer to our community. We share with you a recap of our highlights of the last year.

Our project became a marketplace on the Avalanche blockchain with two amazing drops that have shared a large number of unique creations, some of which already remain in the collections of early buyers.

Events

We held two IRL events where we had the opportunity to socialize with friends of the project and our community: one of them was before the inauguration of the project at Xolo Bar in May, where we presented a promotional video and a talk by Monica Zamora, director of our project.

The second event was our launch party that took place at the Bitcoin Embassy Bar in September as part of the opening of our marketplace, where we had the opportunity to present the project, raffle artwork and more activities.

We were talking about our project at Blockchain Summit Latam Panama and Blockchain Land Monterrey, where our director Monica Zámora shared a talk and was part of panel discussions.

We take this opportunity to thank all the creators who got involved in 2022; curators and people who joined our community, we hope this year to continue growing and building together.

It’s a party dedicated to Mexican and Latin American culture, to commemorate and remember those who are no longer with us. Likewise, the event serves as a meeting point for different users, as well as the opportunity to approach and connect with the world of Web3, blockchain and the metaverse.

The celebration will take place on November 3, 4 and 5, where you can find live performances with a great lineup of guests; an NFT art exhibition, where creators will exhibit and have for sale pieces with Day of the Dead motifs; film screenings; interactive games within this space and wearables, which are identifiable and exclusive digital pieces for users who attend the festival.

The organization team of this festival is made up of people with great experience in the areas of production in the metaverse, music and art. After having organized the Festiverse, which was the first Iberoamerican festival of music and art in the metaverse, CMTV is back with this festival dedicated to traditional Mexican culture.

The CMTV team includes Cryptomúsica and Imagine to Create, in collaboration with the artist Tony Darko, as well as Artcrypted and Crypto Escultura, in the curatorship of the pieces that will be exhibited at the festival.

We are excited to share with you the second drop of artists in Artcrypted Marketplace!

The artists that are part of this group are Aiira Merida, Fabiola Larios, Nayla Manganiello, Dan Santino, Adrián Alva, B2x, Chemo 1809, Hafid, Abraham Alcazar and Alonso Cedillo.

On this occasion, we have the curatorial selection of the Latin American Biennial of Artificial Intelligence and Art (BILIA) from Mexico and Bloque 79 from Colombia, who integrated into the marketplace artists that are part of their catalog.

Each of these drops will take place day by day starting October 20th.

Second Drop Artists

Aiira Merida (Drop date October 20th)

He is a multidisciplinary artist with studies and creations in graphic design, cinematography, web development, 3D modeling, abstraction, organic geometry, psychedelia, and color harmony.

Fabiola Larios (Drop date October 21st)

Her work addresses the concepts of identity, vulnerability, and the representation of the self on the Internet. Through machine learning, she works with extracting information and images from the internet, using and manipulating facial recognition to current issues.

Nayla Manganiello (Drop date October 22nd)

Performer and dancer specialized in the audiovisual field. She works with her own image, and exhibits his body naked or with digital retouching. It goes through concepts related to posthumanism, narcissism and fantasy from the virtual interaction with its followers.

Dan Santino (Drop date October 24th)

He seeks to capture spiritual messages in his paintings with the intention of expressing freely as one spiritual reality. The artist said he paints unique worlds only seen in his dreams, but now he is minting them into the Blockchain forever.

Adrián Alva (Drop date October 25th)

With a background in architecture and film, Adrián built his carrier around post-production and motion design. Working with a commitment for art and education Adrián co-owned Local de Arte, an art gallery, school and co-working space for artists in Mexico City.

Chemo (Bloque 79 Drop date October 26th)

Colombian artist who explores illustration. In his works he seeks to express a feeling of hopelessness and postmodern sadness through faces. Some of his works speak directly or indirectly of drugs, since the artist’s context is closely linked to this problem and for this creator it is important to express it.

B2x (Bloque 79 Drop date October 26th)

Juan David Echavarría Urrego known as DiabloEP, anthropologist and experimental artist from the city of Medellín, Colombia. Using objects that the artist has found and collected throughout his life and using animation, he seeks to generate movements that may seem natural in the objects, but at the same time make us reflect on our notions of reality, culture and nature.

Artist from CDMX. His work explore 3D and digital art.

Moisés Sanabria (Drop date October 31st)

Venezuelan-born, Miami-based Moises Sanabria is an interdisciplinary artist whose work extends dialectics of machine philosophy, memetics, and branding through poetic computation.

Abraham Alcazar (Drop date November 1st)

Professional illustrator since 2001 in magazines, children’s books, advertising and various media, happy inhabitant of the historic center of Mexico.

Alonso Cedillo (Drop date to be confirmed)

He explores our post-internet world dissolving the limits between reality and fiction, as well as the analog and the digital. Cedillo’s works codes itself through painting, sculpture, film, photography, webpages, machine learning, and alternate reality games.

El gran evento dedicado al ecosistema Cripto, se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Monterrey, Nuevo León, y nosotros fuimos parte de esta gran fiesta, que reunió a protagonistas de la Blockchain, para compartir su experiencia y conocimiento al público asistente.

En este encuentro, que ocurrió del 5 al 7 de octubre, Monica Zámora, directora de nuestro proyecto, presentó la conferencia “La obra de arte en la época de los NFTs”, hablando sobre la historia del arte digital en relación al mercado del arte contemporáneo y sus problemáticas.

De igual forma, participó en el panel “El presente de la Web3 con perspectiva de género”junto a Marysol Mauricio de Crypto Epic Queen y Blue DAO, Jazmín García que es Senior Manager y Advisory Risk Consulting, Pamela Chávez de MeraVRse y Cristina Loustaunau de Near Protocol.

De igual forma pudimos escuchar las conferencias de Steve Wozniak (Coofundador de Apple), Gracy Chen (Bitget Managing director); la Senadora Indira Kempis, Maggie Wu, (CEO de Galactic Holdings), Juan Rodríguez, (fundador de Bitcoin y Criptos), Jaime Merino (Fundador de Tradinglatino LLC), Miguel Caballero (Tutellus), entre muchos más.

Dentro de este gran encuentro se rompió el record Guiness de la clase más grande de criptomonedas en el mundo a cargo de Binance y Talent Network. La actividad se llevó durante el último día del evento a través de la guía de Carolina Carnelli, Jefa de Marketing de Binance en América Latina. La clase incluyó la participación a través de video de Changpeng Zhao, fundador y CEO de Binance y tuvo una asistencia de 289 personas.

Esperamos la próxima Blockchain Land, para volver a participar y que tú seas parte de esta gran fiesta crypto.

La cita fue a las 8 de la noche y desde muy temprano los invitados comenzaron a llegar al bar. Amigos y comunidad del proyecto, aliados, patrocinadores convivieron a lo largo de la launch party en celebración.

La reunión arrancó con una charla de los patrocinadores del evento, que fueron nuestros amigos de: Blockpay, Ava Labs, Persea, X-Data y Bitcoinerías. Después de esto, los asistentes pudieron pasar un buen rato con pizza, cerveza y charlas. ¡Pero no es todo! Tuvimos la presencia de una cerveza especial para la ocasión: Bitcoin Beer.

Este momento fue especial para que artistas, personas involucradas en proyectos de arte o blockchain, así como la comunidad de nuestro proyecto, pudiera compartir un momento de networking y camaredería.

Una vez terminada esta pausa, una subasta llenó de entusiasmo y emoción de los asistentes, que pujaron por obras de los artistas mexicanos y parte de Artcrypted, Erik López, Martha Maya y Beta Petra, las cuales se vendieron de la siguiente forma: El Fin del Mundo Desde la Ventana 5.5 AVAX; Movimiento 9.5 AVAX, Nueva Normalidad 11.5 AVAX y Planeta Corazón 11 AVAX, respectivamente. Algo importante de esta actividad fue que los asistentes pudieron escuchar directamente al artista hablar de su proceso para crear la obra y todo el contexto acerca del significado de ésta.

Después de la subasta, se llevó a cabo la rifa de productos de la marca de ropa Bitcoinerías. Y de una obra física de Mr. Blockchain, valuada en $3,333 USD, quien la donó para la comunidad de Artcrypted.

Para después pasar a que Global NFT Gallery se encargara de ofrecer un DJ Set de música techno a manos del DJ Sunshinne Vendetta, para que los asistentes pasaran otro gran rato de plática y compañía.

La fiesta fue un gran éxito para todo nuestro equipo, por lo cual queremos agradecer a la gran cantidad de asistentes que llenaron el Bitcoin Embassy Bar y a los participantes de la subasta.

1. How to create an Artcrypted account?

• You must have a wallet with sufficient funds to pay the fees of the blockchain network.
• Go to Artcrypted in your favorite browser.
• Add the Avalanche Network to your wallet or just accept it from the Artcrypted platform to automatically add the network.
• Connect your wallet to Artcrypted and you already have an account to explore the marketplace and artworks.
• (You need to have an “Artist” profile to create an NFT. If you still do not have it, you can contact us using this form).

2. Which wallets accept Artcrypted?

You can use Metamask, WalletConnect, and in the future Core Wallet.

3. Wich currencies can I use in Artcrypted to buy and sell NFTs?

WAVAX, WETH y USDT. (Avax and Ether but Wrapped). You can wrap these tokens using the Artcrypted platform.

4. Wich formats and categories do Artcrypted accept?

Currently: JPG, MP4, MP3, PDF, PNG, and gifs no more than 50 MB.

5. How can I get a creator profile?

To create NFTs you need to have an “Artist” profile. If you still do not have it, you can contact us using the following form.

6. How to add a wallet collaborator to a collection? (Splits)

When you create a collection, the “Split Royalties” section will appear and you can add up to 10 different addresses. You decide the amount of percentage for each one.

7. Can I make credit card payments on Artcrypted?

Not currently, but this payment is on our roadmap to implement in a few months.

8. Which standard Artcrypted use?

Artcrypted works with the ERC721 standard that describes unique or Non-Fungible Tokens in the blockchain. When you mint an artwork on Artcrypted, the file is hosted on IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), a peer-to-peer system that stores data in a distributed way.

9. How to buy $AVAX?

Find an exchange supporting $AVAX: Binance, Crypto.com, Coinbase, Sushiswap, and others.

Create an account and make a FIAT deposit, buy with a card or make a P2P transaction. This depends on the exchange.

Transfer your $AVAX to your wallet (e.g. Metamask). Don’t forget to do it through the correct token network, X-Chain.

10. How do I set up MetaMask on Avalanche?

Log in to MetaMask -> Click the Network drop-down -> Select Custom RPC.

• Network Name: Avalanche Network
• New RPC URL: https://api.avax.network/ext/bc/C/rpc
• Chain ID: 43114
• Symbol: AVAX
• Explorer: https://snowtrace.io/

11. Send AVAX to Your MetaMask Connected to Avalanche

Go to https://wallet.avax.network/, and access your Avalanche Wallet.

On the left, there is a list of options. Click “Cross-Chain”.

Choose the “C Chain (Contract)” as the destination chain.

Enter the amount you would like to transfer, and then click confirm.

Now you can send the AVAX from your Avalanche wallet to your MetaMask wallet.

Select “Send” Select “C Contract” as the Source Chain.

Enter your MetaMask wallet address by copying and pasting it into the “To Address” field on your Avalanche wallet.

Confirm, and finalize the transaction.

You now have AVAX on your MetaMask wallet and can start using Artcrypted with Avalanche.
