In the initial stages of the emergence of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the market, the trading of NFTs took place primarily within their respective platforms. As interest and awareness of NFTs grew, and the market for NFTs expanded, a need for secondary marketplaces for NFT trading began to materialize. This led to the development of dedicated Marketplaces for trading of NFTs.

If you’ve heard of NFTs before, you’ve probably also heard of Opensea, one of the most famous and oldest marketplaces, which appeared alongside MakersPlace and SuperRare in the early days of NFT marketplaces. These platforms, sought to broaden their respective marketplaces by placing emphasis on both quantity and quality.

During the early stages of the NFT Marketplace (2016–2018), first-generation platforms emerged and gained popularity. These platforms, such as OpenSea, MakersPlace, and SuperRare, sought to broaden their respective marketplaces by placing emphasis on both quantity and quality.

OpenSea, for instance, focused on increasing the quantity of NFTs available on its platform by allowing all ecosystem participants to mint and list their NFTs for trade. On the other hand, SuperRare prioritized quality by selectively inviting and screening creators.

The NFT market has experienced a proliferation of platforms in recent years, as a result of which new forms have emerged that are more distinct and diverse than previous incarnations. A notable trend in this regard is the incorporation of NFTs with other financial products and services such as Automated Market Makers (AMMs), Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs) and staking. These developments are increasingly expanding the utility and value proposition of NFTs beyond their initial usage as digital art and collectibles.

The chart presented above illustrates the leading marketplaces for NFTs based on cumulative transaction volume (ETH) as of November 2023. The data indicates that Blur Marketplace currently holds the highest transaction volume with 4.3 million ETH, followed by OpenSea Marketplace with 1.8 million ETH, and X2Y2 Marketplace in third place with 0.8 million ETH.

Emergence of LooksRare: A New Frontier in the NFT Marketplace

In January 2022, LooksRare Marketplace, a platform equipped with participant compensation solutions, such as its own token (LOOKS token) and WETH, made a strong debut with about $110 million trading volume on its official launch day. On the same day, OpenSea Marketplace about $170 million trading volume. This immediately established it as a significant player in the market and a potential competitor to leading marketplace, OpenSea.

However, despite its initial success, LooksRare’s participant reward solution has highlighted a significant problem in the industry known as “NFT Wash Trading.” This form of market manipulation involves artificial NFT transactions, which are repeated in order to create liquidity in actual transactions and ultimately influence NFT prices. As the legal framework for NFTs is still relatively underdeveloped, NFT Wash Trading poses a significant risk for the market. Unfortunately, the participant compensation solution implemented by LooksRare, which was intended to encourage platform activity, has devolved into a “Trading Mining” method, where economic rewards are obtained through trading activities. As a result, this has led to a significant increase in NFT Wash Trading.

As depicted in the graph above, at first glance, OpenSea Marketplace appears to have a significant lead in terms of cumulative trading volume, with a total of 12 million ETH and, LooksRare Marketplace is closely behind, with a trading volume of 10 million ETH. However, upon closer examination and the exclusion of suspected cases of “NFT Wash Trading”, it becomes apparent that the true trading volume is significantly lower. The estimated trading volume for LooksRare is a little over 1 million ETH, indicating that a staggering 90% of transactions on LooksRare were suspect cases of “NFT Wash Trading”. This highlights the need for more robust regulations and oversight in the NFT market to prevent market manipulation.

The continued emergence of new NFT Marketplaces and their Vampire Attacks.

After the successful appearance of the LooksRare Marketplace, new marketplaces continued to emerge, and their ‘Vampire Attacks’ to gain market share continued. “Vampire Attack” refers to the strategy of offering better rewards to attract users away from existing platforms.

LooksRare Marketplace has implemented a successful strategy of offering transaction fee rewards through LOOKS token staking and other participant compensation solutions, which has resulted in the successful migration of OpenSea users. X2Y2 Marketplace has also gained attention by airdropping their tokens to OpenSea Marketplace users and combining 1,500 ETH and 10 million X2Y2 tokens in order to create a liquidity pool on Uniswap to offer active token rewards. This approach has been effective in attracting users and highlights the potential for NFT marketplaces to find new ways to incentivize and compensate participants.

In the second half of 2022, the Blur Marketplace (October 19, 2022) was launched. Blur Marketplace offers a unique approach to royalties by dividing them into three tiers and allowing buyers to adjust them at will. The marketplace is well-known in the NFT ecosystem and offers a user-friendly UI/UX that appeals to traders, as well as fast transaction speeds and a 0% transaction fee. Additionally, at the launch of the service, Blur Marketplace airdropped a box containing the governance token $BLUR (released in January 2023) to users with NFT trading records in the last 6 months. With the launch of the service, the Blur Marketplace attracted a lot of users due to its 0% transaction fee, and on the first day of its service launch it had a trading volume of close to 1,000 ETH.

Conclusion

The NFT market is constantly evolving and changing with the emergence of new marketplaces and the needs of market participants. As a result, competition among NFT marketplaces is expected to increase, particularly in regard to transaction fees. OpenSea, which is considered the first-generation marketplace and currently the most successful, currently charges a 2.5% transaction fee. It is important to consider how this fee structure will hold up in the face of new marketplaces with unique models and functions and what the future prospects are for OpenSea in the midst of these changes in the NFT marketplace industry.

The emergence of various NFT marketplaces has led to the development of various data analysis tools that make it easier for market participants to analyze market trends, explore potential, and identify opportunities. These tools, such as wash trading filters and rarity tools, are based on real-time on-chain data during NFT trading, which allows for a more accurate analysis of the market. These tools have the potential to increase the chances of finding profitable opportunities in the market, and they are creating a new paradigm in the way the NFT market is being analyzed and understood.

NFT를 한 번이라도 들어본 사람은 오픈씨(Opensea)에 대해서도 들어보았을 것입니다. 오픈씨는 가장 유명하고 오래된 마켓플레이스 중 하나로, NFT 마켓플레이스 등장 초기에 MakersPlace, SuperRare와 함께 등장하였습니다. 초기 NFT 마켓플레이스들은 크게 Quantity와 Quality 두 가지 중 하나에 초점을 맞추고 각자의 시장을 넓혀나갔습니다.

OpenSea는 생태계 참여자 모두가 자유롭게 NFT를 발행하고 리스팅하여 거래할 수 있도록 Quantity에 집중하였고, SuperRare는 초대장을 기반으로 크리에이터를 선별하거나 심사를 거치는 방식으로 Quality에 집중하였습니다.

이후, 시간이 흐르면서 시장이 발전하였고, 점점 더 많은 마켓플레이스들이 등장하였습니다. 그 중 상당수는 1세대 NFT 마켓플레이스들보다 더 다양하고 독특한 형태를 보이는 형태로 진화하기도 하였습니다. 이 과정에서 NFT는 AMM(Automated Market Makers), 탈중앙화, 스테이킹 등 더 많은 금융 형태의 상품 혹은 서비스와 결합이 되기도 하였습니다.

LooksRare의 등장

NFT 마켓플레이스 다양화

What is a DAO?

DAOs are communities of people that collectively make decisions and vote for the future of the organization. By nature, these are autonomous and decentralized entities that are governed by the members. Many NFT projects can be thought of as a DAO, there’s a group of token holders together in a community that shares incentives. But the concept of a DAO can go way beyond just communities.

Why DAOs?

Out of all the ongoing efforts in the blockchain space, why do DAOs have the highest potential in pioneering the next revolution in blockchains?

DAOs solve problems that have existed long before Cryptocurrencies, these include:

• traditional organizations follow a hierarchical approach and decisions often are in favor of a small group
• Transparent voting systems
• Empowering the individual participants
• The need for trusting third parties to be ethical and fair

Rather than following a hierarchical approach, DAOs aim to empower every person. DAOs are not controlled by anyone, they are trustless organizations.

DAOs are the next revolution in blockchains because they are going after some of the hardest problems in human history: coordination and democracy

DAOs have the flexibility and power to enter any industry. From shifting companies and communities to even governments, the potential for DAOs is vast.

New paradigm

Revolutionary technologies leverage the older tools and innovate to build a new tool. Isaac Newton famously said:

“ If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants”

We can look at innovative technologies as sequential events that build up from the existing ones. Bitcoin and Ethereum built up from the internet and cryptography.

What if the next generation of DAOs are powered by NFTs?

In the past, DAOs have collectively come together to fund something or make decisions on the future of a protocol.

PleasrDAO famously took off when a group of NFT enthusiasts pooled together to make a million-dollar investment in an animation made by artist pplpleasr.

Since then, this DAO has collected and funded art pieces; they own the original Doge NFT. The initial investment was at around $2M.This NFT was then fractionalized and turned into DogeCoin. The DAO decided to make an ERC20 token backed by this NFT. The token is #12th in coinmarketcap’s rankings across other cryptocurrencies.

PleasrDAO has just scratched the surface of what is possible when NFTs merge with DAOs.

As DAOs start to enter new domains, there’s a need for infrastructure and tools for managing the organization.

NFTs have been used as a form of identity and have proven to be successful in that domain. By leveraging NFTs, all DAOs can manage users. This idea can be extended further if we start to think about the NFTs having attributes such as voting power etc.

NFTs + DAOs = ?

DAOs are shaped by mutual ideas. Pleasr DAO showed us the power and value that can be created by a community of like-minded NFT enthusiasts. But this idea can go beyond collectively collecting NFTs.

DAOs can fundamentally change the way NFT projects and artists start. Today, most NFT projects (with exceptions) start from an already existing media company or self-funded artists. This limits the spread of NFTs and soon, NFTs can suffer from centralization risk.

Governing the future of NFTs should be in the hands of the creators and contributors. DAOs empower the investors and creators by giving them a voice in the community and control over the direction of NFTs.

This is a stark contrast to how NFTs are currently created and sold. Communities don’t go beyond an exclusive Discord chat. The decision-makers are in a centralized company or a small team and supporters are not getting the maximum reward possible for being early adopters.

When the power of deciding for the future of NFTs is in the hands of people, the possibilities are unlimited. This was proven by us when The Loot Project started. The project gave control to the community and is powered by the collective creativity of the community.

Although there have been efforts to create “pseudoDAOs” in the NFT space, the possible implications of an NFT focused DAO is still open to discussion.

Social experiments

After disrupting centralized governance strategies, DAOs are moving to social networks. The promise of Web2.0 was an interactive and distributed application. Early on, this was an exciting moment for everyone. We’re way beyond those times and centralized social network providers are starting to show their flaws. From Facebook changing the result for the US election to Twitter suspending out-spoken people, more than ever, there’s the need for decentralized protocols to step in and make the unbounded social networking experience possible.

In theory, blockchains are capable of transforming social networks for the better. Though in practice, many of the solutions are still experimental.

Monaco is one of the emerging decentralized apps that is experimenting with decentralized social networks. They bring the same feelings of Twitter but in an NFT native social platform. For using the app, users have to own the project’s NFTs.

A more DAO-focused social app is FWB. Entering the DAO requires a written application which will be reviewed by the members of the community and a certain amount of their ERC-20 token. This comes with the promise of a community of engaged people that will work towards funding artists and talented people.

The world of NFTs does not revolve only around art and collectibles. It spans across various categories, and each NFT undertakes a value based on a multitude of things.

The NFTs market is what has made the concept of a futuristic metaverse boom over the course of the past few months. Clothing industry

Clothing industry companies, such as Adidas and Nike, have made their appearance in the metaverse by launching or acquiring NFT collections and buying land lots in virtual environments dedicated to exposing their digital merchandise in branded stores.

These market moves made by big companies to join the NFT and Metaverse environments are some of the overall pictures. Such widespread approval from big companies has been an important factor for the NFT industry. Their entrance into the market is currently laying the foundation for a possible widespread wave of innovation, across various industries. The presence of major companies might also reshape the way the NFT market is currently conceived. It will force some improvements in some areas, such as IP frauds and copyright infringements, and it will provide more stability to the industry overall due to the financial backing provided by the aforementioned companies.

NFTs with Utility Today

Aside from the utility coming from big corporations’ investments, it is also worth looking at some of the most successful collections within each market category and checking out what utility they have provided through their NFTs to gain such traction in the first place. NFTs have a wide range of applications, including personal identity, collectibles, art, and gaming. Currently, PFP and art make up the largest segment, and you can see which categories are represented in the chart below.

In every category, NFTs represent ownership of an item. In the case of CryptoPunks, this item is a JPEG. For ENS, this is the .eth address and for Axie, this can be a game character.

The recipe for an NFT

All of these tokens follow the same blueprint, part of those is ERC721 standard. This standard helps us distinguish between a fungible and a non-fungible asset.

You might have heard of the ERC1155 standard. It is an extension of an NFT. For our purposes, we can view both as tokenized digital goods.

Every NFT has a unique Id that points to its metadata, and it’s like a fingerprint for a digital asset. This metadata can consist of an image and attributes etc.

The anatomy of metadata

So…what do we see when first looking at an NFT?

The name of the NFT is in the title.
The number shown is the NFT’s unique ID, which acts as a fingerprint for NFT. Under the hood, in the smart contract a link is generated from this ID that points to some metadata about the NFT. At this point, you can see that the NFT contains an image and properties, and that the metadata acts as the NFT’s ID.

Where is the metadata stored?

A common misconception that people might have is that their NFT’s metadata is stored on the blockchain. This is true for some NFTs like CryptoPunks but it’s not best practice. On-chain metadata is highly gas-intensive and can cause even hundreds of dollars.

We now know that most NFT projects don’t store data on the blockchain, so how do we make sure that our NFT’s data is immutable?

Immutability

When we say something is immutable it means that it can’t change. The $ETH you have in your wallet is stored on the Ethereum blockchain. Therefore, it is by nature immutable and no one can change it. This is a powerful phenomena that powers blockchain technology.

However, we are not at the point where we can store all the data for an NFT on-chain just like we store our transactions. Achieving immutability is a challenging topic in the NFT development ecosystem. At NFTGo, we ask two questions to see if an NFT’s metadata is immutable or not:

• Is the metadata stored on a decentralized file storage?
• Can the NFT’s metadata change?

The problem with mutability

Some projects take the road of storing their NFT’s metadata on a centralized database. This means that the owners of the database can change the metadata. There are other risks like:

• Hacks and cyber attacks
• Server problems causing the whole dataset to go down

Investors should be aware of these risks and realize that when an NFT’s data is mutable, it questions whether they truly own the NFT. Some projects have no choice but to store the data in a centralized way, we will go more in-depth about that in a future article.

NFTGo has made it easy

Before, you should have done your due diligence to find out if your $100k NFT is really yours or not. Finding raw data

Our data is more than enough for most use-cases, but we’ll gonna show you how to find the raw data yourself. All of this work is already done for you by NFTGo. This is just for you to see what’s going on under the hood. If you’re curious, you can follow along!

There are four steps to this process:

1. Go on Etherscan (or the block explorer of your choice)
2. Find the NFT’s contract
3. “Read” from the contract (I’ll explain what that means)
4. Follow the URI you got back

Depending on how the contract is structured, there might be more steps that you have to take after step 3 but this is pretty much the pattern for most of NFT contracts out there.

First, we choose an NFT. On NFTGo, we can see the ID of this NFT is 9905.

If you scroll down, you will see the information about the project under the NFT’s properties. There’s an address that takes us to Etherscan, this is the project’s smart contract. You can think of an NFT smart contract as a vending machine. When you click on the mint button, this vending machine will give you your NFT. There are other things that are going on in an NFT smart contract!

Now that we’re on Etherscan, it is important that the project’s contract is “verified”. On the right top corner of the contract, there’s a little green tick button. This means that we’re good to go. After you click on “contract”, you will see 3 options: code, read contract, write contract. Click on “read contract”, there are a bunch of different functions there, but we’re only interested in one of them. Find the “tokenURI” function (which is usually at the end).

Remember I told you that an NFT’s ID is like its fingerprint. Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to use to get our NFT’s metadata. After you click on the tokenURI function, you can write the NFT’s ID in the input box. Click on the query button.

And voila! You have “read’’ directly from the Ethereum blockchain. That was a lot of steps to get there, this is what our software does to get every NFT’s metadata.

A big chunk of a blockchain’s task is to store data. Block explorers like Etherscan enable us to Read from the blockchain and also Write to it. Keep in mind that reading from the blockchain doesn’t cost any gas.

If you’ve clicked on the query button, you will see a response from the blockchain. This is a link to where the NFT’s metadata is stored, you can copy and paste this link on your browser. The page you see should be kind of familiar for you, we showed you earlier in this article the raw code for an NFT’s metadata. This text file is stored somewhere (centralized or decentralized) and that’s how we determine our NFT’s immutability.

If you see the link is pointing to a decentralized file storage, you can make sure that nobody has the power to change your NFT.

1. 먼저, NFT를 선택합니다. NFTGo.io에서 이 NFT의 ID가 9905임을 알 수 있습니다.

Over the last few years, the NFT ecosystem has gained a lot of public awareness. As a result, we have seen growth in the number of users, transactions, market cap, and volume. In a spreadsheet compiled by blockchain security and data analytics company PeckShield Inc, it was revealed that around 254 NFTs worth a total of $1.7 million were stolen during an apparent phishing attack on OpenSea. A similar report stated that a Discord attack resulted in the loss of11Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club tokens valued at $1.66 million. These numbers are becoming worrisome for NFT collectors and investors, it is of utmost importance to ensure the safety of your assets.

Hackers are definitely targeting collectors through Discord and Telegram, and it’s highly likely they’re looking for other vulnerable channels since this is such a valuable marketplace. With interest in NFT technology growing, players in the ecosystem (investors and collectors) must stay updated with the best security practices to keep their assets safe.

This article is aimed at providing suitable tips to help you secure your wallet, protect you against phishing/hacks and safeguard your NFT assets.

Where are your NFTs stored?

There is a lot of confusion about how NFTs are stored. Your NFTs are not stored on your cold wallet, PC, or even your hot wallet. Your NFT is a token that is on the Ethereum blockchain; a copy that is being held by the 2400+ nodes of the network running globally (if you want to learn more about Ethereum Nodes, click here). It is nice to have your NFT backed up by a fully decentralized system working to validate the ecosystem (validating transactions over the network). So, when you perform a transaction (buying or selling) all that is happening is the database changing the entry for which address the NFT is owned by (ETH blockchain — database).

• Where are your JPG, GIF, Music

Your NFT has a URI [Uniform Resource Identifier] that points to where the JPG is located. Most of the time these are located on decentralized storage like IPFS or Arweave. In Web2 you can see information storage like AWS, which is a centralized storage service.

The difference between IPFS/Arweave with AWS is that anyone can join your computer to IPFS and decide to also store any particular IPFS object (including your JPG) rather than having all the info centralized in a storage HUB.

Wallet

A wallet is a piece of software that contains a set of private keys that allow you to make transactions, whether it is a cold wallet/hardware wallet or a software wallet/hot wallet.

Software wallet/hot wallet: A hot wallet is a software on a general-purpose device that will allow you to connect with web3 or receive assets with only a “click”.

Hardware Wallet/cold wallet: A cold wallet is software on a dedicated hardware device that will allow you to connect with web3 or receive assets. The main difference with the hot wallet is that the seed phrase never touches the internet and if you want to make a transaction you will need to approve it physically (physical bottoms or on a touch screen). There are some good examples of hard wallets that you can look to buy: Trezor or a Ledger.

Once you download/buy your wallet of preference, there are some main functions that might poop up your eyes.

First of all your hot wallet/cold wallet will require you to create a password. This password will give you access to your wallet. It is only a password specific to your wallet on the specific device.

There is nothing wrong with sharing your public address. Your public address is like your email address of Web3, anyone can send you any NFT by having your address.

There are some new vectors of attack, recently, some hackers have been sending NFTs to people and at the time they interact with the NFT (sending it to another wallet or selling it) the hacker steals everything, it is important to not interact with NFTs that you are not familiar with. The way it works is that the NFT contractor tries to use a rogue signing or approval, they can also be used to get your IP.

Another way around is through phishing emails. These emails want you to connect your wallet to the fake website so they can steal your assets, never click on links you have not made contact with before, and always double-check the website name. Perhaps, these are the only ways currently available for hackers to attack you by just having your public address or your email. You will be okay by just ignoring them.

So, what you want to keep safe is your private key. Your private key is like the password for access to your public address. What the private key allows you to do is:

• Move your NFTs out of your address.
• Sign contracts proving you have the private key of that address (kind of validating that you own the public address).

The big difference between your public address and the private key is that you must never show/send your private key to anyone. They could easily import your private key into their wallets and drain all your assets.

Once the private key is saved and the public address concept is clear, let’s move on to the seed phrase. A seed phrase is a set of 12, 18, 24, or more words. Your seed phrase is useful to recover your wallet. In case you lose your private key you can recreate it through your seed phrase. Like your private key, you should never share your seed phrase with nobody and never store it on a digital storage service or device (dropbox, box, drive, iCloud, photo, notes on your phone, photocopy). Ideally, you should put your seed phrase in a physical thing like writing it down on paper. Some people use a steel object to store their seed phrase to be more fire-resistant.

There are some ways to add extra layers of security to your wallet, like adding a passphrase. A passphrase is a series of characters or words that when you combine it with your seed phrase creates a new wallet on your wallet. For example, I could create a new wallet on my wallet with:

• Seed phrase + any number / any letter / any phrase

Each example could create a new wallet with different private keys with their corresponding public address. It is worth mentioning that there is not a “wrong” passphrase, I mean, you will not get some type of error message, what will happen is that you will only get a different set of private keys that works well but you will not have your NFTs in that wallet. The passphrase feature is only available on cold wallets.

Adding a second layer of security

Buying a cold wallet is a nice step ahead in terms of security. The two most popular hardware wallets are Trezor and Ledger. Both are great for security but they have different strengths and weaknesses.

Additionally, you can always double-check which websites are connected to your wallet. Here are the two main websites to revoke permissions: revoke.cash and etherscan.

Security Tips

Always download web3 apps or wallets from official websites.

One of the major causes of crypto/NFT hacks is that users visit unofficial sources, which a lot of times are scammers waiting for users to interact with the website (which always looks like the official website). Do not download web3 apps from Google Play as the app downloaded might not be from the original source. Some of the tips to follow to verify the official website:

• Pay attention to the address bar, only interact with https:// website and not http:// with the “s” standing for security and indicating that the website uses encryption to transfer data, protecting it from hackers.
• Check the domain name, one of the favorite tricks of hackers is to create a lookalike version of the same website with a little difference (which can only be noticeable when double-checked) in the domain name. For example, a website domain name of https://wobble.com can be changed to https://w0oble.com with 0 replacing o. Always double-check every alphabet of the domain name.
• Watch out for poor grammar, a lot of times fake sites are hurriedly done and have excess spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar mistakes. Avoid websites like this.

2. Only interact with official channels, Twitter accounts, and links.

As mentioned above, the only trusted source should be official websites, official Twitter accounts, official discord, etc. Always confirm that you are interacting on the official channel and not a lookalike channel. Some of the ways to verify this are:

• Check account activities. / Check account followers. / Check account history. / Check the comment and engagement.

3. Do not share your login credentials or private keys with anyone.

As the popular crypto saying goes, “not your keys, not your coins” the moment your private key, phrase, or recovery seed gets shared, that particular account no longer belongs to you. The best practice is to secure your keys safely from a 2nd party.

4. Verify NFT before purchase.

Due diligence is always important in this ecosystem. Check the reputation of the teams involved in the projects, organic interaction in their community, and what people are saying about the project before proceeding to purchase or mint an NFT.

5. Use multiple wallets when minting an NFT.

Burner wallets are secondary wallets created for the sole purpose of minting an NFT. These wallets are created and funded with the exact amount needed to mint with the gas fee. When the mint is done, the NFT minted is sent to another wallet which serves the purpose of storing your NFTs. This will reduce the risk of using your main wallet to interact with a vulnerable smart contract or website. It’s worthy to note that several wallets can be created to serve as burner wallets, and the moment you notice a vulnerability, discard the burner wallet immediately.

6. Beware of clicking links from strange accounts.

One of the methods hackers gain access to accounts and wallets is by sending a web link through a strange discord account or cold mail you through emails promising you a giveaway or whitelist access. Always restrict your telegram, discord, and email from receiving messages from strangers and unofficial addresses, also report and ban any user sending your links through DMs acting as a moderator or official of the group.

7. Always review your token approvals & revoke unused ones

As we interact with different protocols and links every day, giving them access and permission-based on the information on the smart contract. It is very important to review and revoke access and permission given from time to time. This https://revoke.cash/ could help with revoking access.

8. Read and verify the transaction smart contract details before proceeding.

Always make sure you read the permission details in the smart contracts before confirming the transaction. A lot of hackers hide their acts in smart contracts, giving them permission and unwarranted access to funds in your wallet. Read carefully and confirm that the smart contract details are not a threat or vulnerability.

9. Check the news from time to time to know when there is a new vulnerability detected in crypto apps.

With new hacks detected daily, it is important to stay up to date with the latest information and news on vulnerability, threats, and hacks.

With the increased interest in the NFT market, bad actors are also lurking around to steal valuable pieces and funds from collectors and investors using methods that could have been avoided if proper security practices and tips were taken. Always make sure you protect your valuable assets, wallets, and funds from these bad actors.

• 해당 주소의 프라이빗 키를 가지고 있음을 증명하는 컨트랙트에 서명(퍼블릭 주소를 소유하고 있음을 증명하는 일종의 검증)

퍼블릭 주소와 달리 프라이빗 키는 누구에게도 보여주거나 전송해서는 안됩니다. 프라이빗 키가 유출되면 해당 프라이빗 키를 활용해 모든 자산을 빼돌릴 수도 있습니다.
