Researching a token

Before we get into all the features that are available to you on a token’s page, we want to take a look at another option you might consider on your way there. Introducing our “Smart Search” feature. When you search for a new token, you will immediately be provided with enough information. This information will not only help you confirm that you have selected the correct token, but also give you a brief overview of its volume, liquidity, and number of holders.

The highlighted token is the one I was looking for, but at the same time I get an overview of any other SHIB-related projects in case I wanted to take a look.

Moving on to the actual token page, we encounter the trading screen. This screen contains a significant amount of information.

Let’s break it down 🕺

All the usual information (such as website, telegram, twitter, discord link etc) is available here, but we provide you with a link to the token’s Bubblemap. We recently posted a high quality thread that provides all the necessary information on our Bubblemaps integration. Please take a look at it if you want to know more.

We will be integrating the Bubblemaps Iframe soon, which will allow you to use Bubblemaps in-app.

We think we’ve done a great job in creating a section of the trading screen that provides you with all the information you could possibly need about the token itself.

You may have noticed the “Audit” text in the previous screenshot, but this is our built-in GoPlus Security integration that allows you to verify the integrity of the token’s contracts. We aren’t going to delve into it here, but if you’d like to find out more, please read our GoPlus thread that we recently posted.

Lastly, we have our Trade Book. This is something that isn’t revolutionary but makes a major difference to the trader. We quickly show you the recent buys and sells and at the same time, check the size of the buy🐳

We also show the market sentiment at the bottom. In this case, there are more bears than bulls. RIP Shiba.

ChainHub has come a long way, and we are finally gearing up for our big launch into the DeFi world. It’s going to be huge, but first, we want to take some time to tell you who we are, why we are buidling ChainHub, and where we see ChainHub in a few years.

Who

The ChainHub team has been in the web3 space since pretty much the beginning. We have experienced all the waves and dabbled in the many facets of web3, including DeFi 1 and 2, and we’ll be here for the many other iterations going forward. With all this experience in the DeFi space, we have seen a great need and a gap in the market that we feel ChainHub fills. This brings us to the why.

Why

We kept the “who” section short because our “why” is just so extensive. Where do we even start?

Let’s begin with the biggest issues that web3 traders face at the moment:

Mental strain
Lack of focus
Emotional decisions
Lost time & funds

That’s a lot to try and solve with one platform. But we feel that we are well on our way to doing it.

Let’s dive into a typical day in the life of your average DeFi trader:

The day kicks off with a cup of coffee and a quick glance at the market on their phone. Feeling motivated, they decide it’s time to explore new coins and embark on a journey of research. Navigating through trending lists on various sites, they encounter a plethora of top choices, most disguised as paid ads. Now comes the daunting task of sifting through on-chain transactions and unraveling a coin’s true nature before extracting the vital information they seek. An entire day’s worth of research culminates in a decision to buy the chosen coin.

The excitement peaks as they head to their favorite decentralized exchange (DEX) for the transaction, only to be met with high costs or a lack of liquidity. Undeterred, they explore 3 or 4 other DEX options, meticulously comparing and contrasting until they find the optimal choice. Success is achieved as they secure the coveted coin!

…but, the victory is not as sweet as it seems.

Two potential scenarios unfold, and it’s worth noting that they aren’t confined to just one; a combination is entirely possible.

Scenario 1 (a chance occurrence):

The trade is executed, but the harsh reality hits — they’ve invested so much time in research that they’ve inadvertently lost both money and valuable time in the process.

Scenario 2 (the more likely outcome):

The trade is successful, and all seems well in the world. However, the trader finds themselves mentally drained, unable to summon the energy to repeat the process for a few more coins. The thrill of success is overshadowed by the exhaustion of the journey.
