Project purpose: You agree that you are acquiring POT to participate in HotPot and to obtain services on the ecosystem thereon. The Company, the Distributor and their respective affiliates would develop and contribute to the underlying source code for HotPot. POT Token: POT are designed to be utilised, and that is the goal of the POT distribution. In particular, it is highlighted that POT:

(a) does not have any tangible or physical manifestation, and does not have any intrinsic value/pricing (nor does any person make any representation or give any commitment as to its value);

(b) is non-refundable, not redeemable for any assets of any entity or organisation, and cannot be exchanged for cash (or its equivalent value in any other digital asset) or any payment obligation by the Company, the Distributor or any of their respective affiliates;

To the extent a secondary market or exchange for trading POT does develop, it would be run and operated wholly independently of the Company, the Distributor, the distribution of POT and HotPot. 1. Abstract

Introducing HotPot, the innovative Web3 video platform that redefines user interaction with digital content. By integrating rewards for viewership and participatory governance through token voting, HotPot fosters a dynamic ecosystem for creators and viewers, enabling discovery, participation, and reward in a uniquely engaging environment.

2. Introduction

HotPot leverages Web3 technology to create a symbiotic platform where users earn by engaging with content. This whitepaper outlines the revolutionary approach HotPot takes towards content interaction, token economics, and community building.

3. Platform Overview

HotPot combines viewing experiences with economic incentives, empowering users to earn rewards from their respective contributions to the platform, and have a say in platform governance. This section details the platform’s functionalities, including token earning mechanisms and user participation.

The Basics

The product is available as a computer plug-in and web version, allowing users to bring videos they find on social media platforms such as YouTube, BiliBili, and Twitter into the ecosystem via deep linking. The sub-token is called HOT, and the main token is called POT. Users can mine in four ways:

● Discover to earn.

● Play to earn.

● Share to earn.

● Vote to earn.

Weekly mining data is published in charts. Participants who vote for rising or stable videos receive rewards.

2) Mining Machine

Mining Participants must obtain a mining machine (which is a basic tool required for playing and sharing videos on the platform).

An account can have multiple mining machines, but only one can be used for mining at a time. The energy required for mining can be paid by the miner or any third party (e.g., creators and advertisers). Third parties adding energy can include advertising links. A certain amount of the POT must be staked. Advertisements are played according to the time energy is added; when the third-party energy ends, the advertising link disappears.

3) Token rewards are determined through voting.

There are six leaderboards each week: Music/Dance (100), Film/TV (100), Anime/Games (100), Culture/Travel (100), Web3/High Tech (100), and Overall (500). The leaderboards are published every Monday to Saturday at 7 PM. User earnings rankings may be added later.

Formula for Scores

The weighted play count of each work (35%) is calculated from 6 PM the previous day to the same time the following week, according to the following formula:

-Play Count = Playback Time x Mining Machine Speed.

-Weighted Play Count = Individual Work’s Play Count / Total Play Count of All Works x 35%.

Token Voting Weight (35%) from 6 PM the previous day to the same time the following week.

-Token Voting Weight = Individual Work’s HOT Voting Amount / Total HOT Voting Amount of All Works x 35%.

After clicking the vote button, users must enter a HOT amount. 35% of the HOT amount goes to the sub-ranking, 65% to the overall ranking.

Peer Voting Weight (30%) from 6 PM the previous day to the same time the following week.

-Peer Voting Weight = Each Work’s Valid Total Votes / All Works’ Valid Total Votes x 30%.

-“Peers” refer to individuals who have discovered at least one work, who are often creators as well.

Top Peer ranking: Top 60% of peers are counted every Saturday at 6 PM, and the Top ranking is calculated as follows: Σ (Person’s Discovered Works x The Work’s Weighted Play Count by the previous Saturday at 6 PM) x POT Staking Amount at 6 PM on Saturday.

Top 60% of peers can vote ten times a week on different works but cannot vote for their own discovered.

One-sixth of the 60% peers are randomly selected (without the peers knowing), and these votes apply to both the sub-rankings and the overall ranking.

Chart Value: The chart is ranked by the scores of works. Both sub and overall rankings are calculated this way:

Chart Value Calculation = Work’s Scores x (Ranking Increase + 1).

For example, moving up one rank is multiplied by two. If stationary, multiply by one. If declining, there is no chart value.

4) Sub Token: HOT

HOT Acquisition:

● Purchased with USDT.

● Rewards for play mining and share mining (distributed every Monday to Saturday at 7 PM).

● Total HOT distribution is calculated based on the total energy consumption of mining machines from the previous week (early stages may multiply by factors such as 0.9 or 1.1).

● Total HOT distribution is divided into six parts, 10% for each sub-ranking.

HOT is distributed to each work based on list rankings.

● (If distribution is based on each work’s weighted play volume, the total weekly sub-currency issuance needs to be reset)

● In each work:

● 10% to the promoter, the first person to bring the work into the ecosystem.

● 10% to sharers, distributed among sharers based on the weighted play volume generated by link sharing, including the promoter’s link in the sharer’s distribution.

● 80% to players, distributed based on weighted play volume among players.

● Voting Mining Rewards:

● All HOT voted for works with list value is fully returned to the voters.

● For works without list value, 10% goes to the platform, and 90% is distributed to each work based on list value, further distributed among each HOT voter based on the amount of HOT voted.

5) Main Token: POT

The main digital token of HotPot is POT, which is a transferable representation of attributed utility functions specified in the protocol/code of HotPot.

POT is a functional multi-utility token which will be used as the medium of exchange between participants on HotPot in a decentralized manner. The goal of introducing POT is to provide a convenient and secure mode of payment and settlement between participants who interact within the ecosystem on HotPot without any intermediaries such as centralized third-party entity/institution/credit. POT does not in any way represent any shareholding, ownership, participation, right, title, or interest in the Company, the Distributor, their respective affiliates, or any other company, enterprise or undertaking, nor will POT entitle token holders to any promise of fees, dividends, revenue, profits or investment returns, and are not intended to constitute securities in the British Virgin Islands, Singapore or any relevant jurisdiction. POT may only be utilized on HotPot, and ownership of the same carries no rights, express or implied, other than the right to use POT as a means to enable usage of and interaction within HotPot. 4. Congratulations! You’re now part of the HotPot community. Start exploring, watching, and engaging with content to earn rewards!

2. Buying your Device

1. Start by navigating to the ‘Claim Your First Player’ section on the HotPot platform.

2. Click on the ‘Buy Device’ option.

2. Click on the ‘Buy Device’ option.

3. Enter the quantity of devices you wish to purchase and choose your preferred payment method. Then click the Buy Device button to proceed with the purchase. Please note that the device level is randomly determined.

4. Understanding Device Levels:

There are five levels of devices available, and the level you receive is randomized. The higher the device level, the faster you can mint tokens. Choose wisely to maximize your minting speed and rewards!

3. Mining by Playing Video

1. Begin by downloading the HotPot Plug-in and logging in to your account.

2. Navigate to the homepage and click on ‘Top Chart’ to access the video page.

3.Scroll down to view the weekly charts. Click on the cover of a video to access its details page. From there, click the ‘Watch’ button to start watching and initiate the mining process. By watching the video, you’ll earn ‘Hot’ tokens, which are the sub-tokens of the platform.

4. Earn by Sharing Video

1. Mining by Sharing Video:

Open your favorite video page and click on ‘Share’ using the Plug-in. You’ll earn 10% of the Hot tokens from all viewers of the shared video. Share more videos to earn more rewards!

5. Earn by Voting

1. Navigate to the detail page of the video you’d like to vote for and click on the ‘Vote’ button.

2. Enter the amount of Hot you wish to vote with and click the ‘Confirm’ button. Keep in mind that voting requires Hot tokens, and the video’s ranking is determined by the number of votes it receives.

3. Videos are listed on the Weekly Charts for seven days. If the video’s ranking increases after seven days from the time you voted, you’ll earn double the Hot tokens you initially voted with. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to acquire points, which can be redeemed for Pot rewards in the future.

6. Viewing and Withdrawing Your Earnings:

1. Sign in to your HotPot account and click on your profile icon to access your account dashboard.

2. On your account dashboard, locate and click on the ‘My Earnings’ tab.

3. Initiate Withdrawal:

Within the ‘My Earnings’ section, you’ll find the option to withdraw your earnings. Click on the ‘Withdrawal’ button to proceed with the withdrawal process.

Turntable Level 1 is the basic level available to all users for free. The maximum mining time is 30 minutes, with a participation rate of 1% in the mining pool. On the other hand, Turntable Level 2 requires a purchase to use, with a maximum mining time of 30 minutes and a mining efficiency of 1 per minute, with a fuel unit cost of 1. Turntable Level 3 requires more fuel to use, with a maximum mining time of 90 minutes and a mining efficiency of 2 per minute, with a fuel unit cost of 5. Turntable Level 4 requires even more fuel and time to use, with a maximum mining time of 180 minutes and a mining efficiency of 6 per minute, with a fuel unit cost of 30. The highest level, Turntable Level 5, requires the most fuel and time to use, with a maximum mining time of 360 minutes and a mining efficiency of 12 per minute, with a fuel unit cost of 100.

The whitelist for this testnet will be opened to all users. Users who participate in the testnet will receive NFT airdrop rewards, EUT airdrop rewards, and more, allowing them to engage more deeply in community activities.
