The crypto bear market started around March 2022, representing a very long time in NFT years as you know. This is a long time to stay positive, manage the project Treasury, deliverables, deadlines, and disappointed people, all while spending everything I had to my name so that I could leave the Gnogen funds solely to build out the project.

On a personal note, a lot has happened in my life. The people that depend on me most, like my wife, mother, and younger brother, have been let down the most because there has not been enough funds to support development and my family at the same time.

I have already invested $135,000 of my savings (pre-Gnogen) to keep building at a good pace. This represents every penny.

What you may not know is that I sold our home, traded both of our cars for a single car and skipped all holidays/vacations to free up more capital to continue building out the Gnogen roadmap. I understand that this comes with the territory as Founder and CEO of a startup, but these are real sacrifices that I have made to continue on this path.

Many people believe that a typical bear market lasts 4 years, so as of March 2022, I made a decisive plan to join a Team to produce the best 10k art collection to the NFT world. For my involvement in this new project, my payment would alleviate the strain on my personal finances whilst allowing me to focus on growing Gnogen with Gnogen’s Treasury.

Fast forward 1.5 years later, and the new project is finally about to launch. Everything that we’ve worked so hard for is about to make it’s way to the ETH NFT market. There are still lots of uncertainties when it comes to any project launch including: appreciation for our art, the mint itself, timing etc. However, we are confident that our project is as strong as any other and there’s a good chance that people will love the art and support us.

Whether our ETH project has a spectacular launch and/or has staying power, there’s also a strong chance that those on ETH will want to know more about the project team, including myself. This will give more prominence to Gnogen, our collections, artwork, MultiversX and its many benefits. I have a strong vision for Web3 and this ETH project may put myself and Gnogen in a much better position to start closing deals and create better opportunities for our community.

The scale of the ETH NFT ecosystem is close to 150x larger than the MultiversX ecosystem. Whether you’re looking at Twitter followers, volume traded, money spent on events, news/PR, ETH is where the NFT movement is happening.

I understand that to many, it’s a little out of the box. However, my objectives as CEO of Gnogen is to grow our brand recognition, find partnerships that allow revenue and volume to increase as well as to create products and games that our community enjoys.

All I ask you is for your continued support and understanding. This is not just about an ETH project, but about my own personal responsibilities as well as, more importantly, the future of Gnogen. If this ETH project is successful, it will open many doors for Gnogen and our current/future plans. Please know that I have poured my heart and soul into Gnogen from the start and will continue doing so.

What Now?

Of all the EGLD we have earned in sales and converted into our fiat Treasury, $130,000 remains in bank accounts set aside to continue building our roadmap. Here is what we can look forward to:

1. The Arcade Game is already well underway, and development by a third-party team is ongoing. This Validators-centric game is scheduled for release for worldwide tournament play, allowing holders to pay and compete for GNG and other prizes.

2. Dynamic Gnogons will continue to separate Gnogons as a truly unique and valuable collectible. The dynamic aspects of this collection will not be cost-intensive and can be largely completed in-house. They will also be upgradeable only through GNG which will continue to provide the token with a grounded use case.

3. Gnogen Comics and our identity telling stories will make a strong comeback to help maintain our presence from everything we’ve built up until now, and will serve as the gateway collection for onboarding collectors from other blockchains.

4. Ether Genesis will mint when overall market conditions improve.

5. ETH Project will provide Gnogen with a dramatically larger audience. The mint will coincide with The Arcade Game Beta release.

6. The Trading Card Game will continue development around the gameplay rules and mechanics while we search for the right investors to help bring the product to market.

7. Continued Progress of our Holder’s Portal, which is aimed to unlock more potential around content sharing.

As she approached the edge of the colossal pit, her senses began to notice things…changing. The air grew thick with haze, the deep black sky illuminated itself with light waves Doga had never experienced before, and a sinister presence surrounded her. The radio goes silent as comms fail.

UNKNOWN VOICE: “Ha ha ha ha ha (a deep voice grumbles), you’re a long way from home, little one.”

DOGA: “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight. It’s the size of the fight in the dog. I may look small, but it would be unwise to judge someone based on their size.”

UNKNOWN VOICE: “As it would also be unwise to judge an opponent before you even lay eyes on them.”

DOGA: “So show yourself. I’m here, aren’t I?! Who are you?!”

UNKNOWN VOICE: “As you wish…”

The center of the pit cracks open and a creature as tall as a skyscraper arises from the smoke.

UNKNOWN VOICE: “It is I, Lunarta, Ruler of the Moon Realm. Author of Nightmares. Engineer of tidal destruction. Child, there is little you can do here. The things that have been set in motion must and will come to pass. The Children of Men are near the breakpoint. The cleanse must come once again.”

DOGA: “What does that even mean? Humans have flaws, I have seen them firsthand. But they are capable of great good. They were given the gift of mastery over creation and are still finding their path.”

The Godlike being peers into Doga’s soul, and the stone on its forehead illuminates. Its eyes widen as the stone reads the contents of Doga’s life.

LUNARTA: “Ahh…I see…you are one of them.”

DOGA: “One…of who…?”

LUNARTA: “Have you met the Immortal?”

DOGA: “The who?”

LUNARTA: “It does not matter. If you are here, in this age, now — it means we are in the Immortal Age. It has begun. The Trilemma has chosen their side, as I have chosen mine.”

DOGA: “And what side is that?”

LUNARTA: “The Conquerer will arise to meet the Immortal. The Children of Men must face their day of reckoning.”

DOGA: “One of those Children of Men means very much to me, and I will not rest until I am reunited. I cannot allow you to proceed further. Your plans stop here.”

LUNARTA: “You overestimate yourself.”

The stone on the giant’s forehead instantly shoots searing plasma directly at Doga, as she barely dodges in time to jump out of the way. She could still feel the heat close to her cheek. That was too close, she thought.

Lunarta moved extremely fast for how massive it physically was. Punches, kicks and plasma beams seemed to come at Doga from all angles. The monstrous creature appeared to have an endurance that had no end. Eventually, a few attacks begin to land.

As Doga narrowly avoids another plasma beam, she quickly dodges to the side. Suddenly, she’s met with a thunderous slam of Lunarta’s hand, crushing Doga against the rocky lunar surface.

She stumbles back onto her feet, before she feels a warm liquid on their chin and paws. She’s coughing up blood and finds it hard to breath. Her fur is badly burnt in several places, and she can no longer see out of her left eye.

LUNARTA: “Do you know how many of your Japanese people I’ve killed? How many tsunamis I sent to that miserable island? How many mothers drowned clutching their children?”

The barrage of punches kept coming. Doga made weak attempts to dodge the attacks but could only manage to avoid direct critical hits. Dazed and concussed, Doga opens her good eye and only sees the stars. She has fallen down, and her entire body aches in agony as she lay motionless.

LUNARTA: “Nothing can compare to the first time I drowned them all, but perhaps I will be pleasantly surprised. It has been a while since I was allowed to have so much fun. The elderly, the strong men, the women, children, and all the animals that crawl about — I can’t wait to drown them all again.”

HACHIKO: “This is it Doga. Let it go. Let all of the pain and suffering you have endured, all your loneliness, all your fears, all your nights spent in tears, unleash it all right here. This creature must not be allowed to follow through on this threat. Rise Doga. Rewrite your destiny. Time waits for no dog.”

Doga’s eyes blast open. Green fire flows from her gaze as her wounds heal. Anger, sadness, loneliness, and fear collide within her indomitable spirit. Sparks ignite. Her power graduates to a new level. Doga has ascended and for the first time since the conversation started, Lunarta lets slip a look of doubt. A look of fear. A look of uncertainty.

Doga charges up. The Do Gooder in double saber bone form, roaring to fight. She moves at lightning speed and reappears right in front of Lunarta.

DOGA: “Again.”

She would prowl the shadows of the night, and blend among the hustle of the city during the day. It was time to do good very differently. These animals were of an excessively violent nature and had to be dealt with by excessively violent means. The Do Gooder became a hammer fit for a Norse God before turning into Nunchucks that weighed 75 kgs each. Painful, calculated blows to the head were the quickest and most effective way to neutralize these wild creatures.

Each chimera was placed into a prison cell, hidden away in a remote location. She would find out what to do with them later…

Japan’s PSIA created a top-of-the-line facility for Japan’s otherworldly hero. Everything Doga wanted and needed was created into breathtaking architecture blending indoor and outdoor energy & serenity. Doga was smiling, and people were genuinely happy for her.

Our little puppy finally had some purpose. Her sensei Hachiko made her feel understood. Doga felt the years of loneliness thaw whenever she was out in battle. She felt Hachiko was the parent she never had; one she would do whatever she could to bring pride and honor to. Together, they were unstoppable. Thunder and a fighting ability that brought shock and horror to enemies, Doga became known throughout Asia as Hachiko 2.0. Tens of millions rallied worldwide supporting Doga the fighting dog. Doga was proud she was doing her part.

Just then, intelligence arrived with confirmed reports of alien activity on the Moon. Doga read the reports and felt something within her that called towards what was on the Moon. There was an uneasy feeling creeping on the back of her neck. She checked the international launch schedule of rockets launching to the Moon, hitched a ride, and waved “Sayonara!” to the Earth.

Here we go, she thought.

There are 14 Elementals within the Gnogen Metaverse. We are still in the process of fine-tuning the natural resource balances between Lands and Gnogons.

The first phase was to release Land Voucher NFTs. These NFTs can be redeemed at a future time and date for the Official Gnogen Metaverse Land NFT. For now, we release the Land Voucher to allow our community to begin trading and collecting matching land vouchers.

HACHIKO: “Doga sweet child, come. Let us talk. I fear you have been lonely for far too long.”

DOGA: “I do not wish to be rude, but may I ask…are you who I think you are?”

HACHIKO (smiling pleasantly): “And who do you think I am? Take a guess child.”

DOGA: “You are the great Akita, Hachiko; the one who waited over 9 years for his master to return to Shibuya Station.”

HACHIKO: “It is nice to see the young ones still honoring those who have long passed. You are correct. I am Hachiko, and it is very nice to meet you finally.”

DOGA: “Pardon me Great Spirit, but why do you say it is nice to meet me? How have you come to know of me?”

HACHIKO: “After I died in the Earth Realm, the Great Architect granted me passage into Valhalla…It was there I met the other Great Spirits, and it was a joy to finally learn of what happened to my master. There I learned many things…of times past and of times yet to pass. There is a Great War coming unto your realm. An evil such as the world has never seen has been preparing for hundreds of years to come to Earth and change everything as you know it. There is a man here, Emidas, who has been alive for nearly just as long. He has also traveled an unbearably lonely path but he has miraculously remained youthful to this very day. He prepares Earth’s greatest warriors for the decisive battle that is to come.”

DOGA: “I have so many questions about what you have just described. First I am overjoyed your spirit was granted passage into Valhalla…your loyalty and bravery know no bounds. And of this talk of a Great War, it sounds terrifying…but…what role am I to play? I have become a mere mountain dog, passing the time rotting away in solitude.”

HACHIKO: “You are no ordinary dog. The prophecy foretells of a canine within the Seven. I believe with all my heart, that that canine is you.”

DOGA: “What is the Seven?”

HACHIKO: “The Oracles foretell of Seven Supreme Warriors that will lead humanity against the Oppressor. Divided, they will fall, but united, there is no limit to what they are capable of.”

DOGA: “What makes you think the canine is me?”

HACHIKO: “Everything that has happened to you has matched the prophecy thus far. The canine in question was to be separated from a God-like master. It was to be tested by a trial of fire. It was to be pushed unto the edge of death before being resurrected by a vicious bolt of lightning. It is said the Chosen Dog had its DNA altered by the Scientists of the Oppressor.”

DOGA: “I don’t know anything about fighting. I’ve only been taught to do good always.”

HACHIKO: “There comes a time when the only way to do good, is to fight. The world is entering a period of great suffering and restlessness. You must fulfill your destiny. You must fight.”

DOGA: “Great Spirit, with all due respect, surely you have the wrong dog.”

HACHIKO: “There is a fighting spirit already within you. Kneel before me, and receive this gift I have prepared for you.”

Hachiko stretches out his hands and calls forth Doga’s bone.

DOGA: “My favorite bone! It looks…different…”

HACHIKO: “When you take this bone, my spirit will henceforth dwell within it. You will be able to transform this bone into any weapon your imagination can think of. You will not be alone anymore. I will be with you.”

DOGA: “It is a great honor to have your presence by my side…what do I need to do now?”

HACHIKO: “We must make haste towards Tokyo. You were not the only animal the Scientists performed DNA modifications on. There are more like you. They are wreaking havoc throughout the city. We must go now.”

Doga takes the Bone, and Hachiko disappears; his essence enshrouding the bone with immeasurable power. The hairs on the back of her neck stand up, her eyes glow with newfound strength, and she races into the heart of Tokyo.

She’s back.

She felt safe there, and over the years, she made herself a sprawling hideout complete with everything a dog could want. She built a home out of rocks and trees that looked like it could have been made by a master carpenter. She carved symbols and characters into the rocks. Symbols she wasn’t even aware what they represented and characters from memories long forgotten. There was a garden, an exercise park, and a treehouse she would use for quiet contemplation and meditation.

Tokyo became even more grim without her presence. Though she had trained herself to block out the cries for help, every now and then, especially at night, a few voices would make their way past her defenses. What was strange about these distress signals was that they sounded different…sinister things were happening beyond what she was used to hearing. Her sensitive ears would twitch as if to signal to her heart to spring into action, but the years of building up her callouses grew stronger at ignoring just about everything.

She had her solitude, her nice living quarters, and everything she ever thought she wanted, and yet, she felt as empty as she’d ever felt before. The years of ignoring those in need simultaneously faded the voice within her to do only good always. One day, she grabbed her favorite bone, and left her home for good.

She wandered deeper into the mountains. Hoping that death would find her to put her out of her pain and misery once again. But she knew with her powers, that was not likely to happen. She dragged her feet with a somber pace, and kept walking and walking, not knowing how long she had been doing so, or where exactly she was on the mountain.

One night while resting her back against the rocks, the rains came in hard. She turned her gaze towards the sky, as the droplets cascaded down in lockstep with her depression. She turned her head to the side, staring defeatedly off into the distance.

DOGA: “what is that…?”

She sees a green glow in the caves…an illuminance she had not witnessed before on this mountain. Like a bug drawn to the light, her body carries her spirit toward the source.

She enters the damp cave, water droplets falling eerily from the stalactites. She can hear a low hum that sounds both terrifying and uplifting. She continues following the green glow, down the cave halls as the hums grow louder. After walking for hours deeper and deeper into the caves, the halls give way to a large clearing.

She finds an enormous temple built into the heart of Mt. Fuji. There are massive pillars supporting the weight of the ceiling load, and as she walks down to the end of the columns, she can sense the walls, the ceiling, the columns, all singing the low hum tone. Finally, she sees the source of the glow…and an orb of brilliant green energy bursts into flames and suddenly another being appears.

HACHIKO: “Doga, I’ve been waiting for you.”

She can talk!
She can talk?!

Not just that, but suddenly her wounds had healed and she was feeling stronger than ever. Her fur felt tingly. Her paws had grown a strange new digit that allowed her to grip objects. Something wasn’t quite right here…

Rather than go back to Tokyo, Doga decided it was best to leave humanity behind and live quietly in the mountains. She had remembered animals with special talents being used to entertain other humans and wanted no part in living out the rest of her days in captivity. It was painful for a dog to stay away from others. But while she spent much-needed quiet time tucked away in the beautiful lands, she could hear troubled voices at all times of the day.

At first she thought her mind was playing tricks on her; voices of people and animals in distress called out, wondering if anyone out there would ever hear them. But the voices never stopped, and Doga became adept at decyphering the chorus of those in need of help.

DOGA: “Let’s just…ignore them. I nearly died the last time I tried to help. I think it’s better if I just laid back here.”

She had to make an effort to block out the noise and was eventually able to go about her days. She had become fast. Like, super fast. Mount Fuji had become her playground, and she was quickly mapping out the entire region on foot.

One day her whiskers sensed an unusual shift in air pressure. Ominous clouds formed throughout the land and she could feel something bad was coming this way. But she was safe in the mountains…“let’s just…ignore it,” she continued thinking.

As the morning passed and afternoon approached, the cries grew louder. They were different this time. Desperate. An entire city several kilometers away was in a dire emergency as a massive tsunami approached their village.

“Do only good always,” her favorite voice echoed in her heart.

She races down the mountainside, following the sirens of men, women, children, and pets to help guide her. She arrives to find a 50-meter wave creeping slowly but rapidly advancing towards the town and all its inhabitants.

DOGA: “Why did I have to come here? There’s nothing I can do in this situation!”

She considers leaving in order to at least escape with her life intact.

HER HUMAN: “FIND YOUR VOICE SWEET GIRL. YOU CAN DO THIS.”

Her tail instinctively begins to wag. She digs her heels into the ground and unleashes her best bark toward the encroaching waves. A powerful aura emanates from her mouth, and she can visibly see the shockwaves her voice sends through the streets and up toward the tsunami. Her bark sends the waves back, splitting the forces, and leaving them harmless.

As the townspeople slowly began to open their doors to take a look outside, Doga is nowhere to be found.

She was starting to remember more.

Those wretched tools. Those terrifying eyes. The cold steel beneath her small puppy frame. The broken heart from being separated from her master.

The bitterness was always the hardest to accept upon waking from these dreams. Because she DID have a master. She HAD a human who loved her with all his heart. It was all taken from her…and for what?

Doing only good always became harder by the day. The Earth and its inhabitants began to experience pains. People became more anxious. Animals became more agitated. Society was pulling apart at the seams. Greed and corruption began to change reality to its whims. Good became evil and evil became good. All of creation seemed to groan collectively. The climate grew hotter, the weather more unpredictable. Food and water became more expensive, and the theory that mankind is 3 meals away from all-out chaos, danced flirtatiously with countries around the world.

No longer did kind samaritans give treats or leftover food to the strays. No longer did the restaurant owner continue to ignore the animals hiding in the alleyway. Violent thugs prowled the night, seeking relief from their sorrows by inflicting them upon others. Doga’s days were filled with hunger and her nights with terror.

Her bones grew weaker. Her spirit began to fade. The beautiful golden coat that once protected her, began to thin. She left the city and went up into the mountains. She was seeking to find her final resting place.

She made her way up Mount Fuji, dragging her tired and tattered body up the trail. She found a nice area some ways up the mountain and looked out over all of Tokyo. The flowers were in bloom and the birds sang as they flew through the air. “Much wow,” she thought, “many beauty.”

From this far away humanity didn’t seem so bad she thought. She could hardly recognize the beauty of what was before her eyes, from the memories she acquired while living within the Neon City. Her eyes began to slowly gloss over as the life force began to leave her. She wondered why she was ever born if a life of disappointment was all that would await her. She wondered why her master never came to rescue her.

Suddenly she hears a whisper as clear as day! “Doga my sweet girl, rise,” a familiar voice calls.

Her eyes snap back to attention as she stares curiously into the distance. From the clear skies comes a lightning bolt from seemingly up above the clouds. 21 million volts of electricity course through Doga’s body - sending shockwaves down to her DNA and activating the powers that those big-eyed creatures had spliced into her all those years ago. Into the mountains a young dog went, and out returns something…different.

Crypto, blockchain, and Web3 will change the ways we interact financially, digitally, and even in ways, we have not yet imagined. We are all at the frontier of this movement, as community members, builders, traders, and users of the technology.

Each role or identity within this frontier grows, learns, fails, and rises again, as they take their losses with humble acceptance of lessons learned and celebrate their victories with the hope and optimism that they can wipe away whatever came before. Competition grows in every lane and across the entire space. As builders and crypto-crazed participants meet in the middle to help each side grow, it becomes vital for both sides to understand each other, and to grow in synergy as time marches on.

There are thousands of great ideas thus far that have made their way to the crypto space. Due to the recent 2020–2021 explosion in popularity of meme coins and NFT digital collectible artworks, builders and teams have entered the space in growing numbers and many ideas compete for the support of Web3 community members.

How do new projects stand out in highly competitive environments? Some improve upon things that have worked well in the past but simply need a fresh take with a new set of eyes on the problems at hand. Others find no reason to reinvent the wheel and try to approach similar solutions with better efforts. At Gnogen, our approach to the $GNG token has always been the same since the first day. Since creating the $GNG token in Q1 of 2021, the goal has always been to have this token be entirely distributed to our community and for it to take the role as the the fundamental utility token of the games and digital collectibles Gnogen, our partners, and our community will create together.

Bitcoin and to a lesser extent, dogecoin, are cryptocurrencies that have defied expectations, expert opinions, and have withstood the test of time. For all the limitations these two coins were said to possess, there is an attribute that remains…well…immutable. These coins were never sold by the creator. These coins were meant to be for anyone and everyone in the world. These coins, Bitcoin & Dogecoin, have no central point of failure. Put simply, the mechanism for distribution cannot be shut off by any single entity. This immutability, this type of mining/equipment-based effort, has shown the world, like water, oxygen, and sunlight, that the best things in life are free and provide an opportunity to anyone.

Today, the dream of what $GNG could be, starts as implausibly as the two coins mentioned above did at one point in the past. We make zero guarantees of any expectation of profit or that $GNG will be worth a lot of money one day. The guarantee that we make is this. That we will, and are doing everything to bring true utility to the $GNG token. As jaded as the bear market has left many crypto participants, there was indeed a time not too long ago, when many were hopeful that blockchain could bring immense improvements to finance, governments, art, gaming, music, etc., etc. - the list became extensive. True utility began to feel like the shore that kept getting smaller with each passing wave. But it’s not that these things cannot come to pass. It only means that things take time to build properly.

1. How does mining for $GNG work?
   Mining for $GNG is done through a master smart contract known as “The Great War”. Gnogen collectors will have the option to submit one, select a few, or all of their eligible NFTs into The Great War. Any Gnogen NFT that contains a “Power” score within the metadata is eligible to participate. You can submit your miners for just 1 day, or pay enough gas fees to leave them in for longer periods of time. Each day your miners will compete for that particular day’s scheduled $GNG reward amount. The way this is achieved within the smart contract is each NFT that enters the daily battle will be separated into 2 stacks: the left and the right. If you submit 6 NFTs, 3 will enter the left stack and the other 3 will enter the right stack. These stacks will end up being just 2 stacks, that combine everyone participating in mining in the entire world. The left stack battles the right stack. These stacks are metaphorically both face down. The topmost card for each stack will “flip” face up, and whichever of the two NFTs contain the higher Power score, will “defeat” the other and enter the winners’ group, while the lower Power score NFT enters the losers’ group. If both Power scores are identical, both enter the losers’ group. Once the original stacks have been depleted and all the simulations have been ran, the smart contract rewards the winners’ group by rewarding each NFT owner proportional to their contribution to the winners’ group overall Power score. So for example, if the winners’ group had a total Power score of 15,000 and you had 5 winning NFTs which had a cumulative Power score of 487, you would receive (487/15,000) * daily issuance rate (which is predetermined at epoch = 0). Each day the stacks are shuffled at random and the number of NFTs participating can also change day by day. The issuance rate is known and deterministic for the life of the mining program, but the daily number of participants changes based on community engagement.
2. Are there any special rules, disadvantages or advantages for participating in The Great War?
   Indeed there are. If an Emidas and Gnogon NFT are battling each other, and both have the same Power score, Emidas wins, rather than both ending up in a tie (both would be losers in the case of a “typical” tie). If a Gnogon NFT and a Validator NFT are battling each other, and both have the same Power score, the Gnogon wins, rather than both ending up in a tie. If a Gnogon NFT and another Gnogon NFT face off in battle, and both have the same Power score, the higher Heart score will win the battle. If a Validator NFT and another Validator NFT are battling each other, and both have the same Power score, the higher RAM score will win the battle. These are the only rules for the 3 collections we have released so far that contain Power scores (Emidas, Gnogons, and Validators V2).
3. Are low Power NFTs useless?
   It is important to stress that first and foremost, Gnogen is a digital art and content producer. Artwork is collected and traded in the eyes of the beholder and that is why we try to release digital artwork that can continue to be enjoyed for years to come. Our artworks are also underpinned by original content, lore, and characters that we no doubt will continue to develop and explore as time goes on. However and with that said, there is a balancing mechanism that will be built into The Great War smart contract. The code will be instructed to change the basis on which it selects winners on every Sunday. On Sundays, the rules for winners and losers will be reversed, meaning the lower Power scores win while the higher Power score loses. Once every 7 days (on Sundays), the lower Power score will win that day’s daily $GNG issuance.
4. What is the distribution timeline of $GNG?
   The Great War smart contract will be built to run autonomously for a 10 year period. During this time, 50% of the entire supply will be mineable within the first year of token issuance. Each year after this, the issuance rate will be cut in half, until the final and 10th year of the smart contract, where the mining rewards will be least robust.
5. When will the mining smart contract go live?
   The smart contract is scheduled to be completed by August. After which, we will have the SC audited and tested for security and fidelity. Once the SC is secure and ready to exist on the blockchain, we will push it live. Our goal is to release $GNG mining in Q3 2022, barring complications in development, auditing, or potential debugging.
6. Once the smart contract goes live, can Gnogen change the rules or make revisions to the way the smart contract operates?
   No. Once the smart contract is live, Gnogen will forever be unable to make revisions to the core mechanism of the smart contract. The rules and regulations will be set in stone. The only list that can be updated is the list containing which NFT Collections are eligible to mine. For the overall health of the ecosystem as well as making sure we have enough mining equipment to allow for enough adoption of the $GNG token, the target number of total miners ever was set at 30,000–40,000 miners. At the time of this writing there are 21,550 $GNG miners in existence. The majority of the remaining miners will come from future Gnogen Comics Supreme Heroes.
7. Where can $GNG be spent?
   As of right now, $GNG can be spent on some Gnogen NFT sales, such as the 1 of 1 handmade Gen 1 Gnogons we will begin auctioning to our community in the coming days. In the short-term the goal is to begin having some of our core products go live. These core products have been designed and prepared to take full advantage of the ESDT token standard. The first blockchain-based gaming product to go live using $GNG will be the PC downloadable, Gnogen Trading Card Game. We are currently in development of the MVP and hope to have beta testing live in the next few months. On a longer-time horizon, our intention and overarching goal is to create a Metaverse, where our community can hang out, interact, create memories, and show off their NFTs in style. Metaverses were up until recently, notoriously difficult to create and so it would not be reasonable or truthful to guarantee we will build the world’s greatest metaverse. But with more and more gaming engines allowing teams and projects to leverage their existing infrastructure, massive online community experiences are a lot closer than first meets the eye. We will continue to strive daily, monthly, and yearly to bring in the right investors, show our gaming products are designed to bring something entertaining and truly enjoyable to blockchain gaming, while continuing to place immense important on only releasing artworks we feel confident will be well received.
8. What is the long-term vision for $GNG?
   A token by the people and for the people. A token unmarred by major VC holdings and token release schedules. A token that can transcend the bounds of the Gnogen Metaverse, and become widely accepted as a token that is immutable and fair. Often times what the world needs in order to push forward is a common language. $GNG seeks to become a key player in the tokens being transacted across all major metaverses (there will be many).
9. Will $GNG be listed on exchanges?
   Not by Gnogen. Part of this great experiment is to follow in the footsteps of Bitcoin and Dogecoin. We do not take these decisions lightly, as they have already severely impacted our ability to grow at the pace that we would have hoped for. But if we are truly able to deliver the products we know can bring real entertainment value into crypto, these types of questions and concerns will be taken care of by everyone BUT Gnogen (as we have seen with the greatly accepted international cryptocurrencies of the past.)
10. What are the short, medium, and long-term plans for $GNG?
    Short-term would be to release the mining smart contract along with the first lite wave of $GNG use cases. In the medium-term, our goals are to bring deeper utility by helping facilitate a growing list of places where $GNG is accepted as payment. The long-term plan for $GNG is to show the world whether or not this experiment worked. Innovation happens at the cusp of determination and insanity. There are no doubt thousands of cryptocurrencies and tokens making their way across blockchains all over the world. We, the people of the Gnogenverse, want to see what happens when a fairly mined token, runs on a lightning-fast layer 1 blockchain (The Elrond Network Blockchain), and has true Web3 gaming utility.
11. If Gnogen will not sell the $GNG token, where will the funds for developing use cases come from?
    Not all Web3 companies are formed alike. There are projects that raise revenue in all shapes and sizes. The core value proposition of Gnogen is not unlike what legendary brands such as Marvel, DC, Pokemon, Disney, etc., have already succeeded in bringing to markets. Bringing people together through stories has immense value to humanity. It always has. And if there’s one thing we will always strive to do, it is to bring value to the communities we are wholly a part of. Comics, original content/lore, IP that finds more and more people getting interested and googling “Emidas” to find out what this new wave is all about, contribute year over year until the demand for more (tv shows, movies, streaming platforms, etc) appear naturally from the people. None of the aforementioned brands were built overnight but the vision was clear, the creative direction sang in tune with the cultural zeitgeist and genuine adoption over time took care of the rest.

NFTs have thus far been about flipping, profits, and trading. But perhaps, something deeper can be built upon the foundations that are being set even as you are reading this now. In some dreams she's with her best friend; Her master. She sleeps tucked underneath his armpit, they go to the park often, and even sit together calmly while watching the duck families float across the pond.

In other dreams, it’s darker. Much fear. She recalls being taken into the air by bright lights and seeing tiny humans with gray skin and big eyes. She can remember smelling but not seeing; hearing but not feeling.

The good thing about living in Tokyo was that she never found enough peace and quiet to get much unbroken sleep. Between the car horns, trains, buses, construction workers working at all hours of the day, and thousands of conversations happening all at once, good sleep was a luxury our furry friend did not get to have.

You see, this particular puppy had been living in a small alleyway, underneath a stack of old restaurant crates the landlord never bothered to move elsewhere. She can’t quite remember how she arrived there or where she even came from.

The bustling energy of the city slowly but surely washes the residual memories of the dream away, but one thing continues to resonate within the young pup each and every day. She can hear a human voice telling her her favorite words. Every time her human would say the words, she remembered how fast her heart would beat, and how wildly her tail would wag. “Do only good, always,” her master would say. “Even when the world tells you otherwise, do only good always.”

So good, the dog would do.

Each morning the pup would begin her patrol around the city. Though young and frail with very little to eat, the dog’s spirit was not to be taken lightly. Tales are told today of those early days, when powerless Doga would save others time and time again.

About the time she saw an injured bird lying behind the dumpster. Doga stayed cuddled next to that bird for 6 days, fending off anything and anyone that even got close during its recovery.

Or perhaps the time a crying child was lost in a park, and Doga came over to calm the child down. After spending a few moments building trust, the dog slowly walked the child back to the trail, where the parents were desperately searching high and low to find their son.

And who can forget when she saw a young woman walking home in the rain late at night. She sensed a dark figure with evil intent following close behind. Doga bit the man’s hand the moment he moved to attack the woman. It sank its teeth into the man’s fingers before leaping for his face, gnawing at whatever it could latch onto. The young woman ran away safely.

She found that doing good felt good. That it gave her purpose and a sense of connection with others. But she also found that mankind was full of darkness. Each act of goodness introduced into Doga’s life an act of evil. When she saved the injured bird, it was because she saw a young human violently swatting the bird down as it got too close to their food. The child who had been crying in the park was also being followed by an old man with a pocket full of sweets. The hand she bit to save the young woman ended up beating young Doga with pent-up rage.

Doing only good always seemed to be something not everyone else agreed to follow. The night she saved that woman, she limped home and crawled into her hiding spot.

She gets her favorite bone. The one that’s always been by her side. She walks back out into the pouring rain, and suddenly barks, shocked at another dog she just noticed nearby!

She stares at the other dog for a minute and starts to wag her tail. The other dog returns the kindness with its own tail wag sent back. Thinking she’s made a friend, she smiles wide and walks closer to smell the new dog.

Alas, it was merely its own reflection in the puddle below. She saunters back under the crates and whimpers softly. Tears hidden among the raindrops, she whispers to herself, “I hope tonight I will get to have one of my good dreams.”
