This document is a step-by-step guide for you to get started with Icon.X Arena, the platform that allows you to compete with other players on your favorite games to earn tokenized rewards.
In this tutorial, we’ll go over how to create an account to participate in CS2 tournaments on Arena.

Pre-requisites

To participate in Arena tournaments on CS2, you will need:

• A Steam account.
• A CS2 install.

Getting Started

1. Go to the Arena dApp:

First off, visit the Arena dApp.

2. Create an account:

To create an account:

• Click on the “Login” button on the header.

• Pick an option between web3 Auth, Email/Phone or your usual web3 Wallet.

• Once you’re connected, you should be able to see that you are logged in.

3. Join a tournament:

To join a tournament:

• Click on the “Join” button on one of the listed tournaments.

• Click on the “Connect your Steam account” button.

• You’ll then be able to deposit the ICNX amount listed on the tournament to join it. This amount will be allocated to the prize pool to be distributed to the winner of the tournament.

4. Participate in the tournament:

Once you joined the tournament:

• You’ll be redirected to the CS2 server to particpate in the tournament.
• At the end of the tournament, the winner will get the tournament prize pool.

• In case no show of the qualified drivers (20 bests of time attacks) 10mn before Qualificiation starts, The slot will be open on a first come first serve rule.
• The best performance over the 3 Races will designate the Winner and the one that will join The Sandbox Roster for the whole Season. The Winner will join 2 professional drivers in The Sandbox Team.

AMA:

• An AMA organised by Icon.X World will be held on Icon.X World Twitter Page on the 14th March 2024 at 08:00pm CET.
• The guests will be partners and advisors of the Icon.X World project.

Connect your Wallet

On the page, you can then connect your wallet by picking Metamask.

Check your Balance

Once your Metamask Wallet is connected, you should be able to check your ICNX balance on the top left widget.

Manage your Stake

Pick a team by click on the “Manage” button on its card, it triggers a modal with an option to “Stake” and one to “Unstake” your ICNX tokens.

You can manually set an amount you wish to “Stake” on the team before clicking on the “STAKE” button.

NB: Same goes for Unstaking.

IMPORTANT: Set your Max Spend Amount

Upon clicking on “STAKE”, a Metamask pop-up will appear prompting you to set a Max Spend Amount; for the Staking to go through, you must at least set it using the same amount as the maximum amount you want to Stake in total.

For instance, if you want to Stake 35 ICNX on 3 Team, you must set it to 105.

Confirm the Transaction

Lastly a final Metamask pop-up will appear asking you to confirm the Staking transaction. Upon confirmation, you should see a “Success” pop-up appear on the top of your screen.

Check your Stake

Lastly, you should see your Staked ICNX on the top left aside your available ICNX to Stake. If so, you’re all set!

We’re excited to announce that with the onboarding of 10 Teams, Icon.X World Team concept is now coming to life. This pillar of the Icon.X World experience will definitely accelerate the bridge between web2 players and web3 organizations by aligning incentives between these 2 worlds.
