For first-time explorers, we have prepared a User Guide for your reference:

First, import the $GHOST token, its Token Canister ID is: “fjbi2-fyaaa-aaaan-qanjq-cai”, and it’s the EXT token standard.

The Token Canister ID of $XTC is “aanaa-xaaaa-aaaah-aaeiq-cai”, and it’s the DIP20 token standard.

How to Swap token?

1/ Open the ICPSwap DApp, click “Swap”, and select the Swap page

2/ Select the token, $LOVE test token as an example, enter the amount, and click “Swap”. Confirm this order

How to add liquidity

1/ Click “Liquidity” — “Add Liquidity”, Select WICP token and Love Token. Enter the number of assets to add liquidity. You can also adjust the price range that provides liquidity on the right, then click Confirm Order

2/ After completing the liquidity addition, in “My Position”, click “Remove Liquidity”, enter the liquidity funds to be removed, and click “Confirm”

3/ In “My Position”, you can also click “Increase Liquidity”, enter the liquidity funds to be increased, and click “Confirm”

4/ LP (Liquidity Provider) can claim trading fees reward, in “My Position”, click “Claim fees”

80% of the trading fees are rewarded to the liquidity providers

How to participate in Token Pools？

1/ Click “Token Pools”, select the pool that you want to stake tokens, click the “Add” button, enter the number of stake tokens, and click “Confirm”

2/ Click “Harvest” to claim the rewards of staking tokens

3/ Click “Minus” button to unstake your staked tokens, some or all of them

How to participate inFarms to Earn Rewards?

P.S. Farms will be available in a few days!

1/ When you add a new liquidity, a corresponding position NFT will be generated, representing your liquidity assets. Open “Wallet” — “NFT” — “ICPSwap MOR Position (LP) NFT” to view, as shown below are the position NFTs of the LOVE/WICP pool

2/ Open “Farms”, click the “Add” button in the corresponding pool, stake the position NFT to earn rewards, select the position NFT, the Position NFTs use “ID” to represent the creation time sequence, and the largest “ID” is the latest NFT

P.S. If you remove the liquidity, the corresponding position NFT will not disappear, but it will lose its value and cannot be used and staked to Farm

3/ After staking NFT, you can view the total value of the stake, the amount of NFT staked and the earning. Click the “minus” to unstake the NFT position, and at the same time, the earning will be claimed to the account

If you have participated in our ICPSwap Beta, you should already know us very well. But for first-time explorers, we bring you our user guide.

Before we start, let us brief you on how ICPSwap 1.0 works!

ICPSwap, a native DeFi project of the Internet Computer, the financial hub of the IC ecosystem, combines the unique advantages of zero-fee Swap, Swap & MOR, etc. And based on the advanced IC technology, ICPSwap provides developers and users with full-stack finance, market, and DAO services while reducing project construction costs and helping the IC ecosystem achieve leapfrog development.

How to transfer tokens?

1/ Open the Wallet page of your account and click the “Transfer” button

2/ Enter the transfer address, transfer amount and password, and click the “Confirm” button

2.1/ No password is required to transfer token using Plug wallet

3/ After completing the transfer, you can click the “Transactions” button to view the Transactions

How to trade or transfer the NFT?

1/ Click the “Marketplace” button to open the Marketplace page, select the NFT you want to buy and click the “Buy” button

2/ Confirm the NFT order and click the “Confirm” button

3/ After successful purchase, you will see NFT information and can “Sell NFT” or “Transfer NFT”

4/ Click on the “Sell NFT” button, it should be noted that the Sell Price and the “Sales Received” are not the same

Sell Price=Trading fee + Creator Royalty + Sales Received

5/ After putting your NFT on the Marketplace, you will see your sales orders in the Marketplace

6/ Click on your sales order, You can also cancel the listing and then list NFT again at the new price

7/ You can also click the “Transfer NFT” button to transfer your NFT to your friend

How to view data such as NFT transactions or Wrap transactions?

Click the “Info” button to open the ICPSwap Info page and you can view the following data

“Info” is ICPSwap’s information browser on the IC network for all ICPSwap users, and It is currently version 1.0, which only displays the data information of ICPSwap. It will open to all users of IC after the function iteration is completed.

FAQ

1/ Why does ICP need Wrap? Is it not possible to directly use ICP to trade?

WICP is an ICP token based on the IC network developed by the EXT token standard. It was created to integrate ICP with DeFi and solve the problem that ICP has no approval function (this is the reason why ICP is not directly used for transactions). The emergence of WICP will accelerate the DeFI process of IC network.

About this, you can also refer to Bitcoin & Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Ethereum (ETH) & Wrapped Ether (WETH). They (WBTC and WETH) were born for the same reasons.

2/ Why do we need an NFT Marketplace?

The most significant use case of NFT Marketplace is that it supports free trading of ICPSwap MOR Position (LP) NFT (received by creating liquidity in ICPSwap’s trading liquidity pool), where anyone can create NFT and trade it freely. The NFT Marketplace is fully decentralized.

3/ As you mentioned, What is the ICPSwap MOR Position (LP) NFT?

This NFT represents a liquidity position in an ICPSwap Liquidity(MOR) pool, which is like a receipt of your funds. The owner of this NFT can modify or redeem the position.

You can sell your funds by selling this NFT on NFT Marketplace. Once you sell/transfer this NFT, you will not be able to remove your liquidity position. The owner of the NFT will be able to remove the liquidity position.

4/ When will the “Mint NFT” function be launched?

The function of “Mint NFT” will be launched in ICPSwap version 1.1, expected to be in May.

5/ When will the Swap and Launchpad functions be launched?

The function of Swap and Launchpad will be launched in ICPSwap 2.0, expected to be in July.

Why do we still need some time to launch? Because we are optimizing for EXT Token Standard, and we are doing a new upgrade for our Swap. Also for security purposes, we need to fully validate the security and reliability of the token code with the WICP launch. We are also doing the final performance and algorithm testing internally.

Everything is done for the safety of your assets and transactions.

6/ The Swap, Launchpad, Farm and other functions are already in public testing, so why not launch them into the official version?

In order to make the stability of the function and product experience as good as possible. The functions of the ICPSwap Beta 3.0 will be iterated and optimized one after another until it is available to launch the official version. We will continue this mindset and mechanism to continuously improve the product experience and stability of the official version.

7/ Is the WICP on ICPSwap the same as Sonic or other DEX?

No, it is a different token, and the token standard is also different.

Updates of Project Progress that the ICPSwap Community Cares About

Dear ICPSwap Community,

It has been almost a year since The InternetComputer Mercury Genesis. And its ecosystem is witnessing a rapid-growth trajectory. The smart contracts, also known as Canisters, running on the InternetComputer Blockchain have surpassed 47,000. That is a milestone for the IC ecosystem.

We have been heads-down and sunk our teeth into our goal of building ICPSwap into the DeFi infrastructure of the IC ecosystem and simultaneously a hub of the projects to fuel the explosion of the IC ecosystem.

Nonetheless, some constraints, such as the official token standard of the IC ecosystem that is still not unified and the lack of Motoko code auditing agencies, may not be under our control. That said, ICPSwap always pushes towards its stated goals. With our team working around the clock to get ready to launch the ICPSwap 1.0 officially, we will have a lot to announce that the ICPSwap community cares about:

1. The Official Version of ICPSwap 1.0 — April

We plan to launch the official version of ICPSwap 1.0 in April 2022, and the functions of the ICPSwap Beta 3.0 will be iterated and optimized one after another until it is available to launch the official version. We will continue this mindset and mechanism to continuously improve the product experience and stability of the official version.

2. Token Standard — Exponent

Based on ICPSwap being the hub of the IC ecosystem, the team has been thinking about the direction of the ICPSwap product in a way that will facilitate the development of the IC ecosystem. So we have also adjusted the idea of waiting for a unified token standard to supporting popular standards within the IC ecosystem, to help more projects of the IC to use MOR to trade efficiently and create liquidity and Use of Farms.

We will prioritize and follow the EXT token standard and add support for DeFi on top of it to improve application scalability. In the future, we also plan to support other token standards in the IC ecosystem, such as DIP20 and DFT.

3. Extended Wallets — Plug and the Others

In addition to using ICPSwap’s built-in wallet, we will also adopt Plug wallet in ICPSwap 1.0 (internal testing is complete). In the future, ICPSwap will support Stoic Wallet, Ratels Wallet, et cetera.

4. The Issuance of $ICS Tokens — the Plan and the Backup

We are waiting for the finalization of the DFINITY Foundation on the official token standard and hope to issue our $ICS tokens accordingly. At the same time, we also have a backup plan. We follow the token standard that is the more popular and recognized in the community, optimize it to be more applicable to ICPSwap, create the token standard for $ICS, and then issue $ICS in 2022 Q2. We expect it to be born the way the community wants it to be.

5. Free-trade the NFTs

We will launch the NFT Marketplace in ICPSwap 1.0 to make free trading of NFTs portable. The most significant use case of NFT Marketplace is that it supports free trading of ICPSwap MOR Position (LP) NFT (received by creating liquidity in ICPSwap’s trading liquidity pool), where anyone can create NFT and trade it freely. The NFT Marketplace is fully decentralized.

6. To Open-source the Codes

ICPSwap is committed to building a decentralized financial hub in the IC ecosystem. In the future, we will also open-source code to the DFINITY community by ICPSwap Labs, including the underlying system functions, DeFi-related functions, ICPSwap functions, and so on, to support projects built in the IC ecosystem. The developers of the IC ecosystem can build projects of the IC together simply and easily through ICPSwap Labs. We welcome developers in the ecosystem to join us.

7. Secured the Follow-on DFINITY DEVELOPER GRANT

With the code to be open-sourced and some functions and benefits for the IC ecosystem, ICPSwap has again got the DFINITY DEVELOPER GRANT. We are working hard to better contribute to the IC ecosystem. Thanks again for the DFINITY support in terms of product direction, technology development, et cetera.

In addition, DFINITY incorporates on-chain governance, a more diverse and richer component development, and blockchain native data storage capabilities to lower the entry threshold for developers, thereby revolutionizing the paradigm for building applications, allowing them to deploy applications and services on InternetComputer more efficiently and seamlessly. It is no exaggeration to say that developing in the IC is truly a fantastic experience.

About ICS Airdrop Issuance & ICPSwap Roadmap Update

With your support, ICPSwap has made significant progress in the product, such as R&D and marketing, making us very happy. It’s time to issue the ICS airdrop. Thank you so much for being patient.

About ICS Airdrop

As the official SNS service has not been launched and the token standard has not been determined, we have decided, for the security concern, to issue ICS airdrops in the form of “ICS Airdrop NFT.”

Details:

1/ Different types of “ICS Airdrop NFT” represent different amounts of ICS. After ICS goes issue, “ICS Airdrop NFT” can be directly exchanged for ICS tokens (or we will issue ICS to the corresponding addresses).

2/ The user receives “ICS Airdrop NFT” through the mailbox reserved in the form when participating in the airdrop event.

3/ The same ICPSwap wallet address can hold multiple “ICS Airdrop NFTs.”

4/ “ICS Airdrop NFT” is expected to be available for collection in mid-December.

What is mainly concerning the ICS airdrop has been elaborated. If you are interested, please read on. We will update the roadmap of ICPSwap and explain why.

ICPSwap Beta 2.0

Up to now, the number of users having experienced ICPSwap Beta 2.0 has surpassed 160,000. Community users have also grown to 110,000+. This makes us very excited. Beta 2.0 launched seven primary functions: Wallet, Mint Token, Token List, Ads, Chat, NFT, and Swap. The essential function, Swap (MOR, market-making with optional ranges), allows users to enjoy a more stable, convenient, and efficient trading experience.

We will continue to implement the NFT market and Pools functions and optimize the Swap algorithm, product experience, etc. Actually, the development progress is faster than initially planned because of your support and trust. Roadmap update

Why update the roadmap? As mentioned above, the token standard has not been determined. Yes, this is the main reason.

ICPSwap is a hub of future decentralized finance and a member of the DFINITY ecosystem. It has its own uniqueness, but it also needs to integrate the underlying technologies of the Internet Computer.

The Chain key technology and SNS service launched by DFINITY are significant and disruptive, which play a highly inspiring role for the ecosystem explosion of DFINITY. However, ICPSwap and a series of sister project teams in the DFINITY ecosystem are implementing their token standards by extending ERC20. This method has specific security concerns at present. Therefore, the projects in the DFINITY ecosystem, including ICPSwap, need to rely on DFINITY’s SNS service to solve such issues regarding token standards and security.

According to the current publicly-announced information, it will take 3 to 5 months for SNS to be officially launched. Therefore, we have also updated related matters, such as the issuance and public offering of ICS, to Q1 2022. If the SNS service is not launched, we will update it according to the actual situation and announce it as soon as possible.

It needs to be emphasized that the adjustment of the roadmap will not affect the progress of ICPSwap’s product development and financing. Do not worry.

In addition, the use of the Motoko development language as a brand-new language will more or less affect the development speed of ICPSwap or many other projects of the DFINITY ecosystem. Nevertheless, we are continuously working hard to realize the vision of ICPSwap as fast as possible and help DFINITY achieve an ecosystem explosion.

1. How to Claim the “ICS Airdrop NFT”

1) Prepare the Email you filled in the form when you attended the ICS Airdrop event

3) Log in to ICPSwap Beta, click on the top right, Claim ICS Airdrop NFT, enter your email address and the corresponding “Airdrop Redemption Code.”

Because the SNS service and the token standard have not been determined, for safety, we adopt the method of airdrop “ICS Airdrop NFT”. After the token standard is determined, the NFT can be exchanged into the ICS.

4. Will the NFT market function be opened?

In the plan, yes. But it is not recommended to trade “ICS Airdrop NFT.”

Yes, you can receive NFT by email and the corresponding “Airdrop Redemption Code.”
