The biggest news this month: ADYA Inc. has invested in Karrier One to build Canada’s first SCION-encrypted, decentralized network, including critical Arctic deployments. This isn’t just about connectivity. It’s about national sovereignty, security, and resilience in the digital age.

With geopolitical tensions rising and cybersecurity threats becoming more sophisticated, sovereign internet infrastructure is no longer optional. It’s imperative. Through this strategic investment, Karrier One is leveraging SCION (Scalability, Control, and Isolation On Next-Generation Networks), a next-generation internet protocol born out of ETH Zurich. SCION delivers path-aware, cryptographically secure routing that prevents hijacks, surveillance, and cross-border traffic leakage. Think of it as a digital fortress for Canada’s most critical communications.

Here’s what makes this special:

Karrier One’s infrastructure is being deployed in partnership with Ericsson, bringing carrier-grade radio performance to the decentralized model. Ericsson’s programmable networks power connectivity for billions of people in more than 180 countries, and now that same world-class infrastructure is backing Canada’s DePIN revolution.

The rollout has already begun in Canada’s North, where Karrier One is leveraging licensed spectrum held by Iristel and Ice Wireless. We’re connecting Arctic communities, Indigenous populations, and defence installations with carrier-grade, cryptographically secure connectivity for the first time.

To ensure the security and dependability necessary to fulfill this mandate, the DePIN network is built on Sui, a first-of-its-kind Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform designed from the ground up to make digital asset ownership fast, private, secure, and accessible to everyone.

As Samer Bishay, CEO of ADYA Inc. and Karrier One, put it: “Canada must not be left behind in the race for digital sovereignty. Now for the gift that keeps on giving: Karrier One Mobile Plans are launching in early 2026.

As part of our SCION integration and ADYA investment, we’re finalizing the rollout of our Over The Top (OTT) softphone app, which combines SCION encryption, an AI assistant, and decentralized wallet capabilities into one seamless experience. But that’s just the beginning.

Early next year, we’re rolling out full mobile plans with eSIM support, allowing users to activate carrier-grade connectivity instantly — no physical SIM cards, no carrier stores, no hassle. Just scan, activate, and go.

We’ve been teasing KNS Dashboard 2.0 and the Karrier One mobile app for months now, and with mobile plans launching in early 2026, everything is coming together. This is the complete overhaul of how you connect, communicate, and transact — bridging the gap between Web2 accessibility and Web3 functionality.

Dev Update

We are in the middle of a complete overhaul of the Karrier One Dashboard. A brand-new HOTSPOT dashboard will roll out later this year, designed to make monitoring uptime, earnings, and device performance more intuitive than ever. Alongside it, we are building a Software dashboard (KNS) that will give users fresh tools for managing their phone numbers and digital identities. This will include new ways to transact directly from your phone number, expanding how value is moved across the Sui Network.

Another exciting feature coming to the new dashboard is the bounty system. HOTSPOT1 operators will be able to earn extra rewards when they deploy devices in targeted areas that need additional coverage. Think of it as location-based incentives designed to strengthen the network where it matters most. More details on how this will work will be shared in a future installment of Karrier Connected.

These updates are expected to come before the end of Q4, as invite-only Dashboard testing will begin for Early Adopters starting in Q3.

Network Stats

The Karrier One network continues to grow at an impressive pace. In the past 30 days, the network generated $87,340 in revenue from 3G and 4G traffic. This growth has been supported by the deployment of 484 WiFi nodes worldwide, each one strengthening our coverage footprint and expanding our data offloading capacity.

With every new deployment, the foundation for decentralized connectivity becomes stronger.

August 2025 has been a defining month for the Karrier One network, and we’re excited to share the results. Over the course of the month, adoption surged across both cellular and WiFi users, with usage climbing steadily as more nodes came online.

The numbers speak for themselves. From August 1 to 31:

• 232,528 unique cellular users connected to the network, a 12.5% increase from July.
• 76,705 unique WiFi users, representing a 176% jump, demonstrating the demand for community-driven offloading.
• 557,394 GB of cellular data was consumed, up 3.9%, highlighting steady growth in network usage.
• 480 unique devices deployed, climbing up 130% compared to previously.

These figures mark not just a milestone but a signal of momentum. Each new connection strengthens the foundation we’re building together; a decentralized connectivity layer that grows stronger with every host, every hotspot, and every user who comes online.

Earlier this year, we introduced our first commercial product, the HOTSPOT1, a purpose-built WiFi offloading device now available at store.karrier.one. Designed for easy deployment in cafes, shops, offices, and other commercial spaces, HOTSPOT1 helps shift data traffic from cellular to WiFi. This offloading process improves efficiency, reduces network congestion, and provides users with seamless connectivity in busy areas.

Once onboarded, HOTSPOT1 automatically integrates into the Karrier One network, enabling hosts to acquire KONE while supporting a stronger, more resilient infrastructure for everyone.
