ゲーム大国と言われた日本ですがeスポーツにおいては世界に遅れをとっています。 Libesはweb2.0、web3.0を取り入れた次世代型プラットフォームとして日本、世界におけるeスポーツシーンを支えていくことが目的です。

【プロジェクト発足の背景】
Libes発足のきっかけとなったのは知り合いのeスポーツ選手の声からでした。
「eスポーツ業界は入り口は広いけど、出口がかなり狭いからなかなか稼げないんです。稼げるようにする良いアイディアありませんか？」
この相談から、web3.0とeスポーツを組み合わせた今までのスポーツと違うスポンサーのあり方を作れば新たな経済圏ができるのではないかと考えました。
近年、成⻑を続けるeスポーツ市場はコロナ禍で拍車をかけて更なる成⻑を見せていますが、日本ではまだ世界から遅れをとっている状況です。
例えば、日本のeスポーツシーンでは賞金の上限の問題や、eスポーツ自体の認知不足の問題で経済活動を行えている選手は少ない状態です。一部の企業、団体がスポンサーをするのではなく、スポンサー自体を分散化したものにすることでこの問題を解決するきっかけになるのではないかと考え、「Libes」というeスポーツ特化型の総合プラットフォームのプロジェクト発足に至りました。
