As an 18-year-old Black woman from Fort Wayne and a proud graduate of South Side High School, I’m taking my first step this August 2025 toward a lifelong dream: a career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). I’ve officially enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College to pursue an Associate degree in Criminal Justice, with plans to continue on to Purdue University Fort Wayne for my Master’s degree.

This journey is about more than just academics — it’s about purpose. I want to serve, protect, and uplift communities that are too often overlooked. The path won’t be easy, but it’s one I’m ready to walk with determination, resilience, and integrity.

Why Criminal Justice? Growing up, I saw firsthand how justice isn’t always served equally. That’s why I’ve chosen this path — to be part of the change from the inside out. With every class, every training, and every opportunity, I plan to prepare myself to become not just an agent of the law but an advocate for equity and truth.
