MXS Points are the core ranking metric on the leaderboard. Each player’s total is a combination of their performance across three categories:

• Gold — Max contribution: 7,000 MXS
• Ruby — Max contribution: 1,500 MXS
• Sapphire — Max contribution: 1,500 MXS

Together, these make up the 10,000-point cap per user.

⚖️ How Points Are Calculated

Each category has its leader board, and the top-ranked user in each earns the full MXS allocation for that category:

All other users on the category leader board earn MXS points in proportion to their score compared to the leader.

Example:
If the gold leader has 56,000 points and you have 28,000, you earn 50% of 7,000 = 3,500 MXS from gold.

Purpose of Node Licences

Node licences power our cloud-based ecosystem using reputable providers such as Google, Avalanche, and Unity (+others) integrating Web2 scalability with Web3 decentralization. Licence holders do not need to run their nodes but instead can pay for cloud hosting fees for our gaming infrastructure to get rewards. This removes the stress and complexity of creating your infrastructure, maintaining hardware, paying energy bills, etc. Hosting is free for the first 6 months, so holders get early rewards for free just for holding a licence. After that period, the hosting fees will be with industry averages paid monthly or upfront in the long term.

Complete KYC

Like all other similar node licences in the industry, wallets must pass KYC before they claim accrued node rewards. BlockPass (third party) is the official KYC and KYB provider for MXS cloud node licences. Here’s how to get started with KYC:

You can contact Blockpass for KYC issues. After submitting your KYC documents, check your inbox (including spam) for updates that require additional verification. Once you’ve passed KYC, the MXS system will be automatically updated within 24 hours enabling your wallet to claim. If after 24 hours, your wallet is still not activated, please raise a report on the website with the category ‘NODE REWARDS’ / ‘KYC completed but cannot claim’.

NOTE:

• KYC is legally required before claiming rewards. This is an industry standard for all node licence rewards.
• A third-party provider will handle KYC, ensuring that MXS Games does not store your details.
• If you have done KYC before with MXS Games for another purpose, you have to redo KYC again for node rewards.
• No refunds will be offered if the node purchaser does not meet KYC requirements.

1. Users who are at least 18 years old; and
2. Exclude citizens from US and OFAC/UN-sanctioned countries

The UI shows the total token allocation, tokens already claimed (withdrawn), remaining locked tokens, and their release schedule.

5. Claim Your Tokens

If tokens are available for claiming:

• Click the Actions > Withdraw button.
• Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Ensure you have sufficient gas fees in the native token (AVAX for the Avalanche network).
• Once confirmed, the claimed tokens will appear in your wallet.
• You can then claim again the following month until all allocated tokens are vested.

Important Notes

1. Per-Month Vesting: Tokens are unlocked on a per-month basis. You can claim tokens at the end of each month during the vesting period as long as they are unlocked and available in the portal.

Token Swap

To re-establish the $XSEED token’s trading conditions and maintain community trust, MXS Games will resume trading the $XSEED token with a token swap process. Eligible users will receive the new $XSEED tokens, with an accompanying airdrop for qualifying holders.

Airdrop Eligibility Criteria

• Presale Rounds Wallets: Buyers from Seed, Strategic, and Private rounds will automatically receive an airdrop of the new tokens, provided they have not sold or transferred tokens to a CEX during the original launch. If transferred to a CEX, the process is handled by them when trading resumes there.
• DEX Buyers + Holders (Pre-Hack): Users who bought on the DEX before the attack time (10:29:31 AM UTC, Block number 52434076) and still holding. This excludes wallets that have sold or transferred to a CEX. If transferred to a CEX, the process is handled by them when trading resumes there.
• DEX Buyers + Holders (Post-Hack): Users who purchased tokens on the DEX between 10:29:31 AM UTC (when hacked tokens were dumped) and 11:09 AM UTC (official announcement). Details will be announced at a later date after investigations are complete into the incident as many bots and snipers are involved.

Risk Mitigation

During the launch, in addition to the third party technical issues, we also noticed there was an unusually high number of bots and snipers targeting the liquidity pool which created a very volatile environment for traders and supporters. We have taken the following steps to mitigate risk for trading resumption:

1. Reduce Third Party Risk — Instead of using a vesting portal to distribute the token swap, we will do an airdrop of the new tokens.
2. Reduce Smart Contract Risk — Although the original technical issues was not within the MXS smart contracts, we have once again reviewed all processes to minimise the chance of any issues.
3. Due to low market cap, we are adding in temporary trading fees to deter bots and snipers. This fee is also designed to ensure fairness while everyone receives the airdrop. The blockchain distribution to almost 4k wallets will take a bit of time. The raised fees will go back to benefit the community and holders in various ways.

• 0 to 10 Minutes — 10% Buy Fees, 30% Sell Fees
• 10 to 30 Minutes — 0% Buy Fees, 25% Sell Fees
• 30 Mins — 0% Buy Fees, 20% Sell Fees
• Until Further Notice — 0% Buy Fees, 5% Sell Fees

Incident Overview

On October 30, 2024, following the launch of MXS’s $XSEED token, a security breach occurred when leaked wallet keys belonging to a third-party developer contracted through Ferrum’s reseller program enabled unauthorized access to a vesting contract. Initial investigations show that, after multiple attack attempts, the developer wallet with leaked keys successfully executed the emergencyWithdrawal function, draining nearly all tokens in the vesting contract — 1,357,332,694.7630768 tokens (over 1.3 billion) — into the DEX AMM liquidity pool. You can view the transaction showing the emergency withdrawal call here.

After that, the attacker sold all tokens in a single transaction, which you can view here, causing a price crash on the DEX. Subsequently, approximately 1,112,409,711 tokens — nearly 80%+ of the dumped supply — were bought by snipers and bots, based on mempool and block analysis, and moved to centralized exchanges (CEXs) shortly afterward. These tokens were liquidated across CEXs by roughly 24 wallets, with 539,506,130 tokens moved to Gate and 572,903,581 tokens moved to MEXC, further impacting the token’s stability.

Ferrum and MXS Games are actively working with authorities to investigate and recover funds where possible. Please refer to the official Incident Report for a comprehensive breakdown of the incident and our response measures.

Recap of what happened during launch?

There was a technical issue during the launch with a third party vesting contract which led to 1.35 billion $XSEED tokens being extracted from the vesting contract. For transparency, the transaction ID of this exploit is here Transaction ID here. This wallet is unknown and $88,000 worth of liquidity was stolen from the MXS Games XSEED/AVAX pool from the DEX. When this happened, we paused/stopped trading on all platforms and removed the remaining liquidity in order to protect the community. When we relaunch after a token swap, we will re-establish the liquidity again.
