2. What is MoonRock?

MoonRock ($ROCK) is a decentralized finance (DeFi) crypto project on the Ethereum blockchain. Our vision is to become what crypto needs by shaping the future of DeFi. 3. What does MoonRock do?

MoonRock is a problem solver for the DeFi world. It decreases fraud risks by providing tools and services that facilitate the process of capitalizing on new and existing crypto projects. It also provides market valuation backing through its community treasury, investing in new and existing blockchain-related projects. Finally, the MoonRock ecosystem is a collection of specialized services based on smart contracts and decentralized applications (Dapp).

4. Why did MoonRock migrate from BSC to ETH?

There were many good reasons why MoonRock was originally drawn to the Binance Smart Chain: large investor base, undeveloped Defi sector, low gas fees, and potential of multi-chain bridging. When it was clear we had outgrown our targeted BSC investor base, we began talks of bridging to the Ethereum network for their more developed Defi sector and sophisticated investors. Through multiple thorough discussions with our world-class lead tech developer (Krakovia) and other blockchain experts, we’ve found that current technologies are not conducive for a secure multi-chain bridge. After further discussions, we decided a complete migration to Ethereum is needed for MoonRock to continue to grow.

5. Does MoonRock have staking?

Yes, MoonRock’s staking mechanism is expected to go live in the short term. Our staking will provide up to 40% APY based on the length of time your assets are staked for. We will announce to the MoonRock community once staking is live and recommend $ROCK holders to take advantage of our generous APY.

6. What is the community treasury?

The community treasury is a fund set aside by MoonRock to invest in different crypto projects. A portion of the transaction tax (2%) is allocated to this special fund. The MoonRock team uses its traditional finance and crypto experience to diversify the community treasury based on fundamental and technical analysis. The profits gained from these investments will then be split into 50% buyback & burn, 30% compound growth, and 20% operations & marketing.

7. What are the sub-ecosystems?

The MoonRock sub-ecosystems are derived from the fund of funds idea. Over time, MoonRock will create multiple DeFi index sub-ecosystems. Our aim is to simplify exposure to the digital asset market’s rapidly growing DeFi sector. Each index fund product will allocate investors’ capital across a curated list of cryptocurrencies — organized into specific thematic focuses: Meme, DeFi, Meta.

8. What does the RockSwap do?

The RockSwap is a multi-chain cryptocurrency exchanging protocol that enables users to “swap” one cryptocurrency for another without going through centralized or decentralized exchanges. This swapping tool is 100% decentralized, providing users with a quick, secure, and reliable way to move or trade cryptocurrencies.

9. Is MoonRock going to be listed on centralized exchanges?

Yes, MoonRock is currently planning to get listed on centralized exchanges. Due to our 10% transaction fee, we are approaching and working with centralized exchanges that would work with us to capture these transaction fees. These negotiations can be complicated and time-consuming — not to mention, expensive. At the moment, talks with BitMart are the most fruitful and we’re working to get listed ASAP.

10. What are the MoonRock Spartan NFTs?

The MoonRock Spartan NFTs or MoonSpartans are a limited edition collection of 300 NFTs. As a utility NFT, they provide these lifetime values to their holders: IDO allocations, free token airdrops, private events, special access, and other future MoonRock utilities. Because these MoonSpartans were minted by the MoonRock team to reward community members, they cannot be bought (unless on the secondary market).

To earn a MoonSpartan, participants must be active in the community chat (Telegram), join the different social media raids to shill for MoonRock, participate in daily AMAs, and offer valuable skills to help the project grow. 11. Is MoonRock a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO)?

MoonRock believes itself to be the most inclusive DAO in DeFi. We envision $ROCK to be the MoonRockDao’s governance token once it is set up. Voting powers will derive from the staking of the $ROCK tokens. This means that once staking goes into effect, a holder’s voting power will be proportional to the amount of $ROCK tokens that they staked versus the amount of the total $ROCK tokens staked.

12. Is MoonRock really building an HQ in the metaverse?

MoonRock’s tokenomics allocates 10% of the max supply of its token to mint 10,000 NFTs to fund an HQ in the metaverse. These tokens are locked in our treasury. So, yes, we are definitely buying land in a metaverse (Decentraland, Sandbox, etc.) to build our headquarters.
