We’re excited to announce that Nepbot has updated to a new frontend with a renovated UI and an improved frontend framework. The team has worked hard to bring a smoother, more stable, and refreshing experience to communities.

The package of updates, including improvements in the front-end framework and interface, was pushed to the Nepbot front-end today. Let’s take a look at what’s new:

Events

For Nepbot, 2022 is a year of events.

In September, Nepbot team attended NEARCON 2022, the biggest NEARCON ever. We met many amazing projects and friends in Lisbon and established deep cooperation with them.

In 2022, Nepbot joined many AMAs to introduce its functions, progress and look for potential synergies. We are proud to be the guest speaker in AMAs of Near Coverage, Near Chill & Shill, and Coreto. We’d like to extend our deep gratitude to all of you for arranging everything and being wonderful hosts!

With the AMA as the start, we’ll kick off a big New Year event collaborated with Coreto. Stay tuned!

Aside from the AMAs we participated, We have also started to host Nepbot Fireside Talk since October. As a special series of Twitter Spaces diving into good projects and communities on NEAR Protocol, it has so far attracted a 1,300+ audience tuned in and took a deep dive into 9 excellent projects: Lacrove & Near Tinker Union, Castle Overlord, QSTN, Loozr, Goatboy, Nestercity(LIVE in metaverse), Coreto, and vSelf.

Once again, deep appreciation to the all the guest speakers for sharing your stories and insights.

As a token of our appreciation to the community, Nepbot has been holding regular giveaways to give back to the community.

Besides regular giveaways on Nepbot Twitter and Discord, we celebrated every big festival with a prize of $NEAR or NFTs. We collaborated with Atocha on Thanksgiving Day. and partnered with OMNI DAO on Christmas. Much more to come in 2023!

During FIFA World Cup, Nepbot sponsored NEAR KICKS, the World Cup Event by Lacrove, and hosted Near World Cup for people to make predictions of Final results. As one of the biggest campaigns of the year, the World Cup events attracted 4,000+ participants and brought 1,500+ new followers to Nepbot.

Farewell 2022, Hello 2023!

2022 was a year that witnessed dramatic changes and notable advances. We deeply appreciate the devotion of our team, the support of our partners, and the engagement of the Nepbot community.

2023 is shaping up to be a significant year for Nepbot.

The Nepbot team is now upgrading its database management system into a more composable and flexible one. Aside from that, we’re also unveiling the brand new Nepbot official website very soon.

In this year, the Nepbot team will put efforts into building a one-stop leaderboard of NEAR. As server owners, you’ll be able to search and check the rules of identity, Airdrop progress, use of NFT toolkits, etc. on the Nepbot website, thus better managing your community. At the same time, we’ll optimize the current NFT minting tools integrated with Mintbase and Paras, adding new functions such as bulk uploading NFT, NFT airdrop, and NFT market tracking.

Nepbot will work together closely with our partners to make 2023 a great year. We welcome more communities to invite Nepbot as their management tool, and will produce more educational contents to lower the barrier to use Nepbot. The Nepbot team also plans to release campaigns such as AMAs, NFTs launching, and exclusive giveaways for NFT/token holders.

Since its launch in 2020, Paras platform has grown tremendously with its strong and loyal community behind its back. Recently, Paras has launched the Paras Loyalty Program, released a new version of its website as the start of a transformation and revealed ‘Paras Persona’ to celebrate its 2nd anniversary and as a token of their appreciation.

Nepbot’s new functions are dedicated to the Paras Loyalty Program and the Loyalty system. With this new integration, you can now use Nepbot to

1. verify your Paras Loyalty Level
2. track the Paras Loyalty Program leaderboard
3. check your $Paras staking status on Paras
4. verify your $Paras staking with a customized amount and locking period

🟢 Verify Paras Loyalty Level

Now once the server owner sets Paras Loyalty Level as the granted rule for a role, Paras users can get verified through Nepbot with their NEAR wallets to synchronize your Loyalty Level to Discord server in the form of roles.

➡️ How to verify my Paras Loyalty Level in Discord servers?

1. Go to the channel #nepbot-join, hit the ‘verify’ button, or using the command /verify
2. Choose a wallet to verify with, and authorize Nepbot with limited access.
3. Once verified, you will automatically assign with the according roles based on your Paras Loyalty Level of that wallet.

Prerequisite:

• Nepbot has been added to the server
• The membership rule has been set up in this server.

🟡Verify $Paras Stakings

Aside from the Loyalty Level, Nepbot can also verify your $Paras staking on Paras — both amount and duration.

➡️ How to verify my Paras Staking in Discord servers?

Follow the above steps in ‘How to verify my Paras Loyalty Level in Discord servers’.

Once you’ve verified with your wallet, Nepbot will automatically go through all the role rules set via Nepbot in this server and give your the corresponding roles if eligible.

Nepbot also constantly updates your roles within minutes based on your status and assets on Paras.

🔵Track Paras Raffle Event Leaderboard

Now you can use Nepbot to track the leaderboard of Paras Raffle Event, on which displays the rank, the locked staking, and the raffle points.

You can use the command /paras_leaderboard to call out the leaderboard in three different levels — Platinum, Gold, Silver. Each level of leaderboard is displayed in a private message.

Only the Top 10 will be listed on the leaderboard — this is also in line with the leaderboard on the Paras Loyalty page.

If you want to check you current rankings, you can enter your NEAR wallet address after /paras_leaderboard. Once you type this command, you’ll notice there’s an ‘+1 option’ following it. Click on it and you’ll see a space for you to fill in you ‘account_id’. Enter your account address and check the results.

🟣Check your Paras Staking Status

Besides the above functions, you can also check you current staking status on Paras with a simple command /paras_staking .

Use the command and enter your NEAR wallet address, and the bot will reply with a message that includes the following information:

1. Staked Amount of $Paras
2. Lockup period
3. Starting time of the staking
4. End time of the staking
5. Countdown days

Through these functions, Loyalty members and $Paras holders will get the special identity groups as social capital and exclusive experiences in the community beyond the platform as well. We hope to enhance the community engagement and foster community growth, breaking the boundaries between the platform and its community and bringing seamless experience between on-chain and off-chain!

➡️ How to set up the membership rule?

1. Create roles for certain levels of the loyalty level,
2. Add Nepbot and place Nepbot’s role above other roles under its management,
3. Use the ‘setrule’ button in the channel #nepbot-join, or use the command /setrule
4. Enter the SetRule page and click ‘add’
5. Choose a role and select the rule type as ‘Paras’ — ‘Loyalty Level’, then choose a level. (here if you choose all, it means all levels of memberships are included)
6. Confirm the rule and approve the transaction.

➡️ How to set up the $Paras staking rule?

1. Follow the same Step 1 to 4 as above in ‘How to set up the membership rule’.
2. Choose a role and select the rule type as ‘Paras’ — ‘$Paras staking’, then customize the amount and duration as the threshold.

• Amount: Please fill in an integer above 1. Users must hold $Paras greater than or equal to this amount to get this role.
• Duration: Please fill in an integer equals to or greater than 0. Users must lock up their $Paras on Paras for at least so many days to obtain this role.

3. Confirm the rule and approve the transaction.

➡️ Why do I need to pay gas fee when setting rules?

Because the rules in different servers are saved in a smart contract on Near protocol.

➡️ Can I set several rules to the same role?

Yes, you can. When more than one rules are added for a single role, members will be assigned with role if they fulfill either of the rules.
