With the sequel to the OASYX series, 10,000 units of 1st generation of “MARYU” (the equivalent of an egg) have already been airdropped to the OASYX Series 1 holders. Upon hatching, the “RYU” transforms into a non-transferrable Soulbound Token (SBT), marking a notable progression in NFT development.

Note : The nurturing feature of the application is scheduled to end around the end of July 2024 with the RYUs remaining active.

Note : Currently you can bridge MARYU to following verses ;MCH Verse, TCG Verse, Home Verse and Saakuru Verse. Chain Verse, Yoldo Verse and DM2 Verse will be available accordingly.

From the time you decide to begin training your pet, it will take 20 days to upgrade your MARYU to the next generation. As soon as you commence training, the countdown begins.

① From your NFT in MY INVENTORY, click “Play with RYU” to begin training. By doing so, you can start training your RYU at the website.

② RYU’s status is shown at the top center. It includes the RYU’s generation, happiness and emotion.

③ You can feed your dragon by clicking various food options.

④You can stroke by tapping RYU

⑤ You can join the race at any location of your choice by pressing the whistle on the upper side of the screen.

⑥ You will get to start the race and see the status of it on top.

⑦ By feeding and actions, the Happiness of RYU will be increased and growth results change with it

Enjoy training your RYU and witness its beautiful growth and changes with each generation.

⑧ You can go to the next level when the count reaches 00:00:00 which means the 20-day training is finally over.

⑨ And then finally the “Generate Next MARYU” button can be clicked.

⑩ In your inventory, you’ll be able to see that a new generation MARYU has been created.

⑪ You can see the general progress and status of your dragon pets as well.

⑫ Refer to the entire process of nurturing your MARYU till it reaches its 5th generation!

In Series 2, the NFT project is being developed to allow players to enjoy AI DRAGON nurturing as if it were a small-scale mini-game. As mentioned in our previous article, Series 2 AI Life Form x NFT “RYUZO” project contains a certain way to nurture OASYX RYUZO, a term coined from the idea of growing a dragon and creating a new dragon.

The user can obtain a MARYU and bridge it from Hub layer to Verse layer. The MARYU is then hatched to give birth to RYU as a form of SBT, which cannot be transferred or traded until it reaches the 5th generation. When the 5th generation of nurturing is complete, a new MARYU is born. This MARYU is generated as an NFT and can be freely transferred and traded.

Now let’s dive into how to bridge your NFT between Hub layer and Verse layer. You may also refer to this video to easily follow the steps.

① Go to OASYX Website and click your NFT in MY INVENTORY.

② Click “NFT Bridge” to browse the list Verses.

③ Select a Verse you would like to bridge and click the icon accordingly.

④ You may proceed by clicking “OK” if there’s no issue.

⑤ The colour of MARYU will change depending on the Verse you choose. It represents the success of your NFT bridge.

⑥ You may opt for “NFT Bridge” to select another Verse.

⑦ “Convert to RYU” will transform your MARYU (egg) into RYU (dragon).

⑧ Please keep in mind that after you hatch your MARYU, it will become SBT, which means you will be unable to reverse or bridge to another Verse.

⑨ Proceed by clicking “OK” after your confirmation.

⑩ RYU is finally born as an SBT.

The second series of OASYX kicks off as it joins forces with Bandai Namco Research and double jump.tokyo. It is titled “RYUZO.” and supervised by Hajime Nakatani, the renowned founder of Bandai Namco Research. This collaboration sets the stage for a transformative NFT experience that merges AI Life Form with gaming.

Hajime Nakatani is well-known for his contributions to popular video games such as “Tekken.” Under his supervision, the OASYX Series 2 project represents a cooperation between Bandai Namco Research, Attructure, Oasys, and double jump.tokyo (DJT), providing insight into the growth and evolution of AI life forms inside the NFT environment.

Oasys Director Daiki Moriyama expressed excitement for the launch, reaffirming Oasys’ commitment to revolutionize NFTs and blockchain gaming. In this series, users can obtain MARYU and bridge them from the Hub Layer to the Verse Layer. In the Verse Layer, MARYU can be hatched by burning, giving birth to a RYU, which is a non-transferable NFT called SBT (Soulbound Token). These tokens are unique in that they cannot be transferred to other users or traded in secondary markets.

RYU can grow by nurturing it, and it has the ability to produce a new generation of MARYU up to the 5th generation. The new generation of MARYU is generated as an NFT in the Hub Layer and can be transferred and traded. However, please note that RYU of the 5th generation will not be able to produce further generations. This process creates a dynamic and evolving ecosystem within the OASYX Series 2 project.

For Series 2, we are issuing a total of 10,000 1st-generation RYUs. We have already distributed 9948 MARYUs to all holders who held OASYX Series 1 twice or more at the snapshot times on March 16, April 16, and May 1, 2023. You can check the list of winners here. The remaining units will be distributed at a later date, so stay tuned for more updates!

A snapshot of the total OAS staking amount as of March 29th (9:00 am UTC) will be taken. The decimal point of the total OAS stake amount will be truncated and then hashed using the sha256 function. The hash value returned in hexadecimal will be further converted to decimal, and the last 4 digits of that decimal value will be the reference value. The numbers 124 before and after the reference value will be the winners! So for example, if the reference value is 9200, then ID from 9076 and 9324 will be eligible to receive VF OASYX!

The giveaway campaigns will run from March 22nd to March 28th. All winners will be announced on our website on March 29th. On March 30th, this NFT will be distributed in the form of “VF MAYU”. VF MAYU is like a cocoon which will contain special Virtua Fighter characters.

Today we are thrilled to announces an exclusive collaboration with SEGA’s iconic 3D fighting game franchise, Virtua Fighter. As part of the collaboration, fans can acquire limited-edition VF “MAYU” (Japanese — 繭 or “cocoon”) NFTs, which will contain special Virtua Fighter characters, to be incubated and revealed in April 2023. A total of 1,000 Virtua Fighter “MAYU” NFTs will be made available, from 10,000 minted as part of OASYX’s inaugural series of NFTs.
